I've wanted to see this place for ages, and was glad to see a decent deal, the night I was visiting Dunedin. Would definitely book again This website won't let me post unless I grade the staff. I met no staff. But I did miss out on the email from the owner, telling me the door code. Luckily, he answered the second time I phoned

Didn't really give the feel it was in a chapel, but high quality accommodation handy to everything. Very comfortable to sleep and relax and included washing facilities and a park.

Three night stay”
A great place to stay but no fresh towels or rubbish removed in the three days we stayed there. So much for being serviced apartments. Lots of room for a larger group. Location is good.

historical. beautiful. good location”
there is no reception but the host had email us earlier on the details if our room. the apartment is beautifully decorated. however the hallway is a bit dark and scary at night.

Great concept, but didn't quite deliver”
a great location and concept. as the name implies, this is a chapel conversion. i can only relate to our experience to apartment no.5. the idea and location are commendable, however lack of attention to detail detracted from the experience. poorly finished in some areas, broken or missing fixtures, a wooden spoon used to prop open the kitchen window, non operating lights in range hood, shortage of on-site parking and dismal shower pressure and reverse plumbed shower mixer all reduced our enjoyment of what could have been a great experience.

There was no actual reception counter. You'd have to lug your baggage up a flight of stairs to find a set of instructions for entry into your apartment on a whiteboard.

Nice hotel but lack of details”
The hotel looks awesome, with nice design and decoration. In side the hotel it's roomy and you feel relax as at home. But the bed is very uncomfortable, and no service at all that when I ran out of detergent I have nowhere to get it. You can see that they have a good start but hope will get things even better with more service.

Funky and a fabulous location”
This is a funky and modern place. Modern, warm and super clean with a comfortable bed. A walk to eateries and easy to find. Offers free parking and key coded door for later arrivals. Lovely!

Family celebration weekend”
Very comfortable - beautiful building, had everything we needed, and really interesting space. Would highly recommend to friends/family, and we hope to stay again in the future.

No parking lot, no reception, suitable for a night stay only”
Luckily was just a night stay, there was no free parking lot, the hotel was built from a old church, have to carry our luggage up the stairs. No receptionist, just a key box written your name and took number to check in..

Very lovely place to stay”
This is a very lovely place to stay, the rooms are well set up and are very unique. The only issue we had was the TV was being replaced during our stay and was disruptive.

Acceptable”
The building and staircase in our room was beautiful and parking was a bonus. However, the bed and pillows where so uncomfortable we have decided to sleep on the couch (not a pull out sofa) instead. Overall the amenities are outdated. Not a terrible place to stay but we will not be coming back.

Treat yourself”
Honestly, yes it's more expensive than other places but so luxurious and right in the centre of town but very quiet. Super clean, awesome beds and showers. Have stayed there a few times now. Love it
