I will NEVER stay here again ”
I booked online. When I arrived they had no record of my reservation. I provided the confirmation email. They did find a room for us. When we opened the door to the room it was not cleaned from the people who were there before us. I went to the front desk to get another room and there was no one there. Had to go outside to ring the bell to get someone. They got us another room. It was not good. It smelled bad and the wallpaper was coming off the walls. I didn't pull back the covers to sleep in the bed. I could not wait to get out of there. The place is run down and the people that work there are not helpful. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Under Renovation ”
Cheap, good location and staff
The hotel is convenient; directly off the interstate. The hotel is outdated, wallpaper is falling off the walls, and the bed is lumpy. It used to be a Fairfield Inn but is now in the process off renovating in order to make it a high class hotel. A continental breakfast was included but you had to go to the Best Western next door since theirs was closed. This is a good place to stay if you are looking for a good value hotel but down mind the late 1990s time capsule that the hotel is stuck in.

View of The Mountains was Breathtaking!”
The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous and very helpful.
There wasn't much to dislike about the hotel.
It was perfect for the purpose of our visiting in Charleston, West Virginia. Restaurants were close by if you wanted to walk to one and of course the view of the mountains was lovely. It's probably even nicer in late fall when the leaves change. My husband and I had an enjoyable stay.
