Charming hotel, wonderful location”
This hotel was a pleasant surprise for us. It was charming and comfortable. The bed had 3 pillows!!! And there was a wonderful cafe, The White Moose, downstairs. The location of the hotel was great - near to LUAS, the tram transportation system in the city, and convenience stores and pubs down the road. Check-in and check-out was fast and easy, and the front desk staff was cordial. I'd definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to friends who have a sense of humour :)

Quiet Hotel, Good Value For Money”
The room was tidied and bed made every morning. Very convenient having the White Moose Cafe downstairs, serving large, tasty meals at affordable prices. It is a quiet place, with nice rooms and a 24 hour reception. There is a bus stop on the road out front that will take you to the city.... Otherwise it is only a 30 minute walk. My only problems are the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not strong enough, fogging up the bedroom when you opened the door and leaving it very humid. The toilet was a bit leaky too. We were in room 51. Aside from that, I cannot fault this place! :)
This is a budge lodge falsely representing to be a hotel”
This is a budget lodge. It is falsely represented here as hotel. It is also falsely represented as being in the city centre. It is not. Everytime, I paid about Euro 10 (one way) to go to and return from city centre. It is hard to get bus from here. There is no restaurant / supermarket near to here. When you filter "hotel" in your search, this lodge will falsely appear as hotel. Although I suffered this horrible lodge (without lift) for first night, I moved to The Gresham in city centre for next night. I paid merely Euro30 more and enjoyed a true 4.5 star luxury hotel. Don't be cheated into booking this horrible lodge for the price of a hotel.
In the bathroom the sink is in way of the toilet. You cannot sit on the commode straight.
Not bad for the money”
beds were comfy, but it was a little far from the action. We still walked everywhere, but it was 25 mins or so to get to the river. Beds were comfy, buy it was a bit loud sometimes with people banging and talking around the rooms. It's a little worn, but clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Dublin is expensive. This place wasn't, and it was very busy, so they must be doing something right.
Nice room and friendly staff”
Room's good but the staff's even better! We only asked if there's e-kettle to borrow as we need hot water for tea. The reception girl helped to bring a full kettle of hot water, which is not easy due to the stairs and really hot...! Thank you so much!
Cozy Hotel but a little overpriced”
When I arrived, I was initially disappointed as I was asked to pay 10 EUR more as I have a small child with me and a twin room would not be suitable according to the receptionist. Upon validating the hotel policies, however, it does not state there that it is not allowed to have a child stay with you in such a room category. Someone was probably just trying to make some extra cash. There are only two people working in the hotel and I'd say they're semi-friendly. They actually helped me carry my luggage to the room, BUT you see, it's not the type of hotel friendliness I'm used to in other countries. The room is okay, there's enough space, WIFI is working - coffee costs 1 EUR. What I like the most is the location as it's a mere 6-minute bus ride away from the city center. The lobby also has a classic feel to it.
friendly for a quick stay”
We were here for one night, double room cost us 30eu -value for money, but if I will need to pay more for tiny, old room it would be a pity.Very surprised that this premises is in the hotel category? I would rather say that it is a B&B than 3*Hotel.The bathroom's plumbing needed some attention. If you are just looking for a bed-it is ok, but if you are looking for a hotel- this is definitely not for you. Not a horrible hotel experience, but could have been better for 3* Hotel!
they upgraded us to a suite...huge room, especially the bathroom. but the mattress is very soft and old, so if you looking for the quality of the sleep, not much. they didn't have a coffee maker or water boiler in the room thou. overall, great hotel, good location
