A hidden gem”
This hotel is such a hidden gem. Located down a small side street; it is just a few minutes walk from a huge shopping plaza and multiple markets/shops/restaurants. Perfect for a quick visit to Bangkok; and if like us, you are heading to the Southern Bus terminal, which is about a 5 minute drive away. The staff were really friendly and the pool was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Very quiet, clean and lovely accomodation setting. Close to authentic street food, restaurants and shopping centres. Not tourist area or beaches which was good as accomodation had a lovely clean pool. Would recommend to others.

A little tropical paradise tucked away in Bangkok”
A gorgeous, well-priced hotel with great, large rooms and an incredibly hot powerful shower. I likes the boutique style and the small pool was enjoyed by our children.

Lovely boutique hotel ”
Nice oasis away from the hustle and bustle of tourists area of Bangkok. It was always easy to get anywhere in the city and get back to our nice quiet room every day. Lots of good street food just a short walk away. The staff here is very friendly and proficient enough in their English language. We did not have any problems at all. Would recommend this hotel to all types of travelers. I am sorry that we did not get a chance to try there very nice looking small pool but we were so busy doing things in the city every day.

Everything was great except the Wifi. Only one device allowed at a time. Maybe I was missing something but I travel for business and was constantly logging in.

One night stay”
We arrived after midnight. Didn’t know that the road to the accommodation is not a main road that taxi can go through. So we walked a narrow alley fortunately nothing happen. Room is clean. But aircon placement was a bit off, one of the person will feel warm because blocked by the wall.

Great Little place with wonderful staff”
Since March 2017, my family and I have stayed 3 times at Charlie House, for a total of 20 nights. It has been a wonderful experience, thanks to the staff who are all very friendly and helpful. This more than compensates for the fact that the Pinklao location is not the most taxi-friendly place to get back to. Almost all taxi drivers have insisted on not using the meter, e.g. from Pratunam and demanded fixed fares like THB300, which we has to pay, especially on rainy days when many taxis do not want to hear about Pinklao. The fact that Charlie House is secluded and had a garden, etc contributes greatly to our stays because we wanted to have the peace and quiet which can rarely be found at most other hotels. By now, we have got used to to the idea of being ferried back and forth in the golf cart. The proximity of Tesco Lotus Pinklao with a huge hypermarket and a good /clean/cheap foodcourt , the number of foodstreet stalls and the proximity of Central Plaza Pinklao with many, many restaurants are all advantages which we took full advantage of, during our most recent 10-day stay.

Little Oasis!”
We booked at Charlie House Pinklao to be closer to the train station since we were going to Kanchanaburi in the morning. What an unexpected surprise. Such a nice quiet little spot in the middle of chaos. We had to be picked up by golf cart and driven down a small alley way to get to the hotel. After 30 hours of travel, it was nice being greeted with a cold refreshing drink and having a nice meal. Our family room (one large room with a separate living space connected to a regular size room) was perfect. We only stayed one night but really enjoyed it.

Staff helpful and friendly”
This was our second stay at Charlie House Pinklao. In spite of the heavy rain that made our stay more than difficult than our first stay in March, it was a generally pleasant stay, thanks to the staff who were helpful. I personally don't enjoy the fact that I need to walk down the alley or that my family needs to be ferried back and forth in a golf cart. However, the staff's attitude helps me to ignore this inconvenience.

Charlie house has been a family favorite since it opened. Its in everyday worker neighborhood which I love, 100baht in a cab to get into touristvile. its a little oasis which has never disappointed. Charlie the tiles in the pool need attention. Charlie house gets more popular all the time. Love it

In spite of location, good, quite place to relax”
Our family stayed at Charlie House for 5 nights. The most outstanding asset of Charlie House is the staff, especially the female staff, who are very helpful, particularly the ones who had to drive us in the golf cart once a day from the property to the main road. Another outstanding feature of Charlie House Pinklao is the fact that, while we stayed there, other guests were very considerate and not noisy. In spite of its rather inconvenient location, we would stay there again (at the right price) because, nowadays, it is extremely difficult to find decent accommodation in Bangkok that has not been swamped by Chinese tour groups or independent travellers who must be among the most inconsiderate and loudest hotel guests in the world.
