                  Everything seemed perfect except bug issues in room. We saw 2 mosquitoes and a lot of ants near coffee stand in our room. However we loved 2 queen beds and two single bed in a small attached room (quadruple room) so we had no space issue with 3 children. We had our own hot spring tub in our room too.

                  More than expected! it is totally value for money, paid NT1900 for such a big double room. All their rooms have private onsen "tub", sufficient for 2-3 people, really a nice experience for me. The bed is big and comfortable too. The breakfast is good too, first with chinese food: porridge with cabbage and little simple dishes then western food: sausage, fried egg, toast, salad. At first I thought there was only porridge, after finishing the porridge, the waiter came with the sausages and toast. I was really full.

                  Stayed in room #209. I had read about bugs in previous reviews and was worried, but I saw no bugs during my entire stay (mid July). The hotel is far from the main bus stop that goes to Taipei and Ye Liu which made for a bit of walk to get to. I arrived early and the staff allowed me to store my luggage while I went to the local hot spring in town. The outdoor pool/spring area was okay. By far the best part was the hot spring in my room.

                  GOOD SPA BUT BAD SERVICE”
                  We arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon for check-in, but, astoundingly and annoyingly, we were told our room would not be ready until 7:00 in the evening. Of course, we angrily told the staff that was not acceptable, so they then told us they would try hard to get our room ready by 5:00. In the meantime, they told us we could start using their spa and spring-water facilities while we waited. Thankfully, the spa and spring-water facilities were very good, relaxing and enjoyable. At 4:30, we were informed our room was finally ready. The room was fine. The complimentary breakfast served the next morning was fine. The saving grace was the spa and spring-water facilities, but they are not enough for us to return to this place. The area has so many choices of hot-spring resorts, and some of them have very reasonable accommodation rates. This hotel is overpriced, as compared to the other resorts in the area. We plan to go to the other resorts the next time we go to that area.

                  Very poor hotel with a dirty outdoor pool and a gym with two machines that are broken. The hot spring can only be entered if naked. Staff speak very little English and even tried to push my check-in time back to 7pm. Left this hotel after 1 hour and went back to the city. Stay in this hotel if you don't mind having nothing to do. Hotel is nothing like the pictures. Very disappointing hot spring hotel and a waste of money.

                  oervall is OK except the hair dryer is burnt out, "bang" and my wife;s hear was heard and sent to hospital for inspection...the next day they sent us a new dryer but it was a sparkle came out when we turn on....terrible

                  Clean, easy access and value for money
                  This is a very nice hot spring hotel. Spacious hot spring bath in room and large common hot spring bath also available. Quite and comfort environment. Just a fifteen to twenty minutes' walk to the old market where you can have the famous duck and other tasty native dishes. There are also several decent restaurants in the neigbourhood. Plenty of free parking spaces available but you can also reach there by public transport means easily. With a rich breakfast in the morning, you can't beat the price.

                  Everything you can ask for in a hot spring resort. Great restaurant in resort for dinner. Ideal location for tours to northern taipei.
                  Checking in was a breeze, even though we did arrive way in advance. We were 4 hours early. The staff were helpful and attentive. Resort was clean and comfortable, great place to get away from city life. The hot spring exceeded expectations, by far my best hot spring experience. Location of resort meant easy access to the old street, only 10min walk away. Other attraction of northern taipei can be easily reached by public bus. It's hard to think of a drawback. The only thing was the the outdoor mixed pool was under construction/ upgrading, which means it was be even better on our next visit!! =)

                  We were very disappointed in the Chat Hot Spring. The room they gave us smelled like vomit and cigarette smoke. My mother in law chose to sleep in the lobby because it was so bad. They gave us an air freshener to alleviate the smell (it did not work). They also gave us the wrong room. We had booked a 6 person on Agoda and they said the information they got was for a 4 person room. That it was Agoda's fault and not theirs, so I contacted Agoda and they were not able to reach the manager of the Resort. The next day they refunded part of the price (the difference between the two rooms). All the rooms were on the 2nd floor with no elevator. We had some heavy pieces of luggage, but no one offered to help. They had advertised a pool, but it is only open July and August. The hot springs you have to go in naked. The breakfast was served only from 8-10. I told them that some travellers need to leave early so that an earlier breakfast option would be helpful. They said they had heard many complaints about this, but the manager would not budge on this point. They did have a nice hot spring tub in each room and the breakfast was okay.

                  The counter staff was not really that friendly however, service staff there does provided very helpful services. Breakfast need to change daily as we have been eating the same food for 2 days. Nice relaxing place if you are looking for a holiday away from city and shopping

                  zLocation was quite far as we had to take a bus formore than an hour to reach. Theres no attractions nearby and i would advise you to go only if you wamt to chill and relax for a day at the hotel without going out. The hotspring was quite comfortable

                  The outdoor facilities were not working & kinda bring disappointment. But the naked hot springs is good enough. The food are really delicious. There are no elevators but the staff are helpful enough to carry them to our room door. But walking out to the convenient stores are quite unsafe at night.

                  it took us one day to find this location, the location marked in map is correct, just it is very hard for foreigner to get there. Other than this, it is fine. The room comes with individual hot spring pool for private usage, this is the best part.
