A happy stay”
Location, welcome, ambience
We arrived on July 6th after a 5 hour drive from Calais.
Madame welcomed us and showed us to a room on the main courtyard. There were four rooms, all eventually occupied.
We rarely saw Monsieur.
The evening meal was taken with 12 people sitting around a table. The food was delicious and served with wine or fruit juices.
We walked around the lake in about 20 minutes before dinner. Lots of birds on the lake including a large Heron.
Breakfast was taken around the same dining table. Croissants, Bread, Fruit and ample supplies of Coffee and Tea.
Madame seemed a bit shy but she certainly worked hard at her role in the Chateau.
We paid a total of €105 for our one night stay.
We were very pleased.
