"We loved how close it was to chatuchak market & the hotel was also 10mins away from another mall full of good restaurants. We really liked the family room as it was very spacious - we especially loved the master bedroom. The view was great from the bed (the window was right in front of the bed!) and the view from the bathtub was really great as well. The customer service was great! All the staff were helpful and friendly. Thank you for making our first time to bangkok a great one."

Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok (SHA Extra Plus)
Chatuchak,Chatuchak - View on map
"we stayed at the hotel for almost a week, the hotel has lot of options for dinning and priced reasonably. the chatuchak cafe and thai restaurant was good. although the hotel was far from main shopping area, they provided shuttle service to the skytrain station which was convenient, they should consider increasing the frequency of the shuttle service. being attached to central plaza was the best thing as you could shop and go back to the hotel for keeping your bags and give your tired feet some rest. staying through the weekend gave us access to the chatu chak market which is nearby to the hotel and there is a shuttle service. the spa was average."

Livotel Hotel Kaset Nawamin Bangkok
Chatuchak,Chatuchak - View on map
"Having stayed in a few different hotels during my stay in Thailand, Livotel was one of the better accommodations I booked in terms of the room itself. Everywhere I’ve been the staffs have been great as well, and Livotel is no different in that respect. The only unfortunate downside is that I was looking forward to sleeping in on the morning of my particular stay, but was awoken by the unavoidable sounds of pipes clanging, amongst a myriad of other foreign sounds that were produced by construction taking place right outside my room (before 8:00 a.m.). Even with the windows shut, the construction sounded as if it was taking place on the bed right beside me. Now I do understand that this is not the fault of Livotel, as I’m sure it’s not something they’re too happy about either if I had to take a guess, and eventually the construction will finish and all will be peaceful again. But, for the time being, if you’re looking to get a good, long night’s sleep, perhaps look elsewhere until the construction is finalized. Otherwise, everything was perfect."

"When my friends and I were looking through the reviews for the hotel, we were not having high hopes as there wasn’t much details and some were similar comments. We were skeptical about it at first but due to the Budget we were on, we just went ahead with it. During that time we had some issues with the booking as we forgot to put into our special mention and it was a tad difficult to get in contact with the hotel itself. We tried keying in special mention under manage my booking but there wasn’t an option to add. Ended up getting in contact with Agoda agents who were efficient in helping me settle my issue. Moving forward to the check in date, the staff were humble and extremely friendly. Check in was fuss free and quick. While we were entering the hotel, the hotel facilities , design and layout were simply fantastic and wonderful. It exceed beyond our expectations. The hotel was located in a quiet area so guest could really get their rest. The hotel entrance was simple yet sophisticated in design, very clean and lovely to take pictures. The pool was amazing and the seats next to the pools were equally beautiful. The bar right beside had a very laid back feel to it . Overall the front of the hotel was simply amazing and great for taking photos! We booked the Deluxe King Studio. When we went into our room, the room wonderful and just amazing. Space was well utilised. Just a little crammed between the bed and tv but otherwise no issues. There was a small resting place, balcony facing the pool, bathtub was great, and there was a small opening btwn the toilet and sleeping area. It was an open concept but with privacy factored into it. Overall the rooms were very comfortable and definitely very relaxing after a long day of touring. It was such a wonderful stay and the hotel accommodations really let me and my group have the fun we had in bangkok( good location) and have sufficient rest and relaxation. The toilets were clean and eco friendly. Single big bottles of"

"This is the second time i stayed here because it's a lovely hotel and it's location to chatuchak market. It is a bit far from the main tourist spot's but thanks to cheap taxi's and transport links at chatuchak market (skytrain and underground) it is sometimes worth staying a bit further out in a nice hotel for a good price than a poor hotel in the city center."

"If you are looking to go to Chatuchak, look no further! Pros The location is central and walking distance from rail line and Chatuchak. We went to Chatuchak 3times in one day because we needed a break every few hours. The lady at the reception (luk or luck) was the best. She made us feel very welcome and she even kept my beer cold after check out in the ice cream freezer. Luk if you are reading this, you are awesome. Cons The beds are hard, but after a Chatuchak day you would probably be able to sleep on a rock. The view is not great but the room is huge with a nice shower. Breakfast is basic. Great stay. Highly recommend. I "

Vic3 Bangkok (SHA Plus+)
Chatuchak,Chatuchak - View on map
"Vic3 hotel is the best we have stayed in Bangkok, comparable to Accor! Good price, with a welcome drink. 5 minutes from Sanam Pao BTS exit 3. 7eleven at the same exit. 3 stops away from Chatuchak and 4 stops away from Siam. Very delicious chicken/pork noodle soup stall located in front of the hotel, opens from Tuesday to Friday in the day. A hidden gem The Coffee Pot Cafe, which is located next to the hotel, inside the Phahol 3 residence, also serves good Iced Latte at around 55 baht. Clean, big comfy beds, big toilets, great hot shower, good air conditioning, basic toiletries, hair dryer, umbrella provided! There is also a gym and clean, kids friendly Swimming pool. Breakfast was also sufficient and delicious at Love Eat, you can have all types of eggs upon request at the counter. Hotel staffs were also very approachable and friendly, from bell boy to front desk to Housekeeping. Overall, great pricing, convenient location, friendly customer service and a joy to return to, after a long day of shopping! Highly recommended!"

"Probably is a newly renovated hotel. Didnt expect such a good quality room. I would say is good value for money. Also like to apprciate and thanks the front desk and bell boy support. They are very helpfull and reflect professional in providing service to guest. Surpricingly the bell boy speak very good Chinese that make me so easy to ask for help. Forgot to ask for his name. Hope Hotel will reward him with my review. He has make my day staying in this hotel so easy. He also recommended me to use metered Taxi instaed of Grab. That save me quite a bit of money on the transfer to Chatuchak (67TB) and Airport (140TB) from this hotel. I am giving excellent rating for the stay in this hotel."

"This Hotel is cheap and very clean. If I have to stay some time in BKK I like to live here. Every room has a fridge and a kitchenette. Some aircons are very loud. The breakfast is low quality but easy to ignore regarding the price. Shops are not very near and some hard to find. Near DMK airport and Chatuchak market. More about Chatuchak

Chatuchak adjoins Bangkok’s most important districts, and it has a few commercial attractions worth exploring. Chatuchak’s Mo Chit bus terminal is the gate of entry for overland travelers from the north of Thailand, so it’s convenient to explore Chatuchak on the first or last day of a visit to Bangkok. Visitors based within the Chatuchak area can get to Mo Chit bus terminal via bus, underground train, skytrain (BTS) or taxi.

The main attraction here is Chatuchak Weekend Market – commonly referred to as 'JJ' – within walking distance of Mo Chit BTS station and the MRT stations Khamphaeng Phet and Chatuchak. This sprawling covered market literally deals in everything shoppers could want, from antiques and handicrafts to fashion, furniture and exotic pets. JJ is hot and chaotic, but an essential Bangkok experience.

While the weekend market is the main attraction for tourists in this part of town, there are quite a few other shopping areas frequented mainly by locals and therefore very affordable. Phayon Yothin BTS has direct access to Union Mall, where fashionable teens find bargains on clothes and accessories. BTS Saphan Kwai is close to merchants who specialize in antiques and jewelry. There’s also a great retro night bazaar near Huay Kwang that deals in vintage goods and has a fantastic display of muscle cars and Vespas. The major modern shopping complexes here are Central Lad Phrao and Centre One.

Accommodation in Chatuchak is cheaper than in neighboring districts. Guests of this area are outside the major tourist centers, but can connect to all of Bangkok via public transport. The Chatuchak area includes Lad Phrao, an area with international schools and high-density apartment living for both locals and expats.
