    Positive Review, But......”

We enjoyed our stay at Che Sara Sara Chalets, peaceful location, scenery is pretty amazing and the local area is stunning. Chalet was clean and had most of the things needed to cook and clean ect. However I would strongly recommend they change the couches as they are old and creaky, uncomfortable and felt like they were going to break. The chalet looks to be about 30+ years old and starting to really show it, at least from the outside. The deck area needs some attention and a good paint job to make it look a lot less dated. Bathroom was ok, it’s not seen in the pictures on websites well but it has a single shower with shower curtain. The pressure is not strong but was ok for a wash. I’d love to come back and see this place when they have made some improvements. The road in is longer than expected and gravel but we liked it, no complaints there however the location of the property is quite far away from local attractions, definitely don’t forget milk and bread as it’s a big trip to town

Rustic cabin in an amazing spot!”

We loved our short stay at che Sara Sara chalets. The chalet was well equipped, very clean and in a gorgeous spot. The staff were lovely and next time we would definitely stay a few more days to make the most of the tranquility.

    Instant relaxation”

The instant I got there I regretted only booking 1 night. Not due to the number of thing to see and do in the Walpole etc area that I unfortunately missed out on seeing but the second I got there it was instant relaxation - so quiet and it was aslmost like time stopped. Beautiful location with walking trails on the property, they offer canoes for your use or you can sit and relax on your verandah and listen to the sounds of nature. Little tip - although there are food options in town (not far away), options and open hours are limited. Stock up on supplies at a bigger grocery store and cook your own meal to enjoy on your balcony. Will be back.....

    Tranquil bush setting”

Lovely self contained simple but clean and well equiped chalets. Dog friendly (with a $50 bond.) Has tennis court and canoes. Angus cattle are grazing ( fenced ) adjacent to chalets. Avocado orchard and poultry on property. Fresh avocados, fresh egg and other produce for sale. Other fresh produce also free. Delightful place. Chalets have wood fires and air conditioning newly installed. Walking trails on property. Wi Wi fi and phone signal hit and Miss. best to bring dongle if you need internet. Free wi fi available at office but Depending which chalet you’re in, is a bit of a walk. Staff/ caretakers& owners are very friendly and helpful.

    Peaceful and beautiful”

The chalets are simple (in a good way!) and all look out to different parts of the river, so they’re very private. A beautiful property with walks, canoeing and we even squeezed in some tennis. Will definitely be back! Loved every minute at Che Sera Sera.

    HIDE AWAY ESCAPE ”

Pet friendly, we took advantage of the canoes it was a very adventurous day losing a paddle (take a second paddle next time), we laughed so much & then we freaked out our beautiful Max (family dog) was struggling to get into the canoe what a tremendous relief after numerous encouraging attempts & a makeshift collar we finally got an exhausted Max into the canoe with two fretful family members. We paddled back in sombre silence and sighs of relief we returned back wet and all in one piece.

Beautifully equipped cabin in open woodland setting bordering the national park with private access to the lovely Frankland river. Cabins spaced well apart for privacy. Tranquil setting for watching wildlife, canoeing, perfect for chilling out. Access via a dirt track but fine for 2WD.

A wonderful experience staying here. Our hosts were fantastic and made us feel so welcome. Beautiful scenery and away from the rat race. As at most self catering places, take all the food you need to make an enjoyable stay. Looking forward to our next visit.

Very peaceful and quite. Lovely property right on the river. Only 4 cabins which are spaced out so not living on top of each other. It's not luxury accommodation but very clean and tidy.

Most enjoyable - shame we couldn't have stayed longer to kayak on the river. Please note have to provide own food - point for meals was only. Ecause it wouldn't submit

    Country farm cottage”

Quiet surroundings, cottages well spaced, wildlife

Located in a quiet spot near the river the cottage was well set up and spacious. The downside was the cottage smelled like camp fire (and so did you belonging when we left) and there was an extra charge for linen upon arrival which was not explained in the venue description. It would be great for a family stay and with canoeing in the river. It was nice in the afternoon sitting in the back verandah observing the wildlife too.

This property was classic country/bush setting.”

    Quiet. Quiet. Quiet

Found this property to be disappointing. 15ks out of town, then the last 2ks on a tiny dirt track. Not suitable for my car. Animals allowed but one must have been a cat as I was severely hit with hay fever. Found we couldn't stay original 3 night booking and stayed only 1 night.
