nice cute hostel and hotel ”
staff real friendly, help with places to go and local booking, short walk to night market. not overly crowded hostel. most all things with in walking distance or all tours from town pick you up at hostel or hotels always. nice quiet getaway from the party hostels

overpriced, not worth it.”
the backpackers was EXPENSIVE online, there are cheaper options near the NICE part of luang prabang. the room was an old, dirty wooden floor, not very nice place at all to stay. not even to stay as a backpacker, because later that night we found a place so ridiculously nice, clean and closer to the center we wondered why this cheng place even existed. forget about the state of the room or how far away it was, the thing that got to us was the ceiling fan was absolutely riddled with dust!! you CANNOT provide a room for this price like that it's a rip off, we had to CLEAN the ceiling fan!? we ended up not staying there. I (the guy) don't care about were i'm staying because i'm a guy, i would sleep on the ground if i have to (and i have) but this place was just too much. the lady was very nice though

The hostel was not very clean and there was only two toilets which you couldn't use if someone was taking a shower. The price was higher than in other hostels I could find just walking around Luang Prabang. There was no door to the room, some noice from the staff working there in the evening and a lot of mosquitoes in the dorm!

Had a room with double bed and bathroom, it had table and chairs outside nice to chill. Read a lot of bad reviews, the place was fine tho-basic Laos room for around 5us$ a night. I ended up staying here twice.

Acceptable”
Seeing so many negative comments made me shattered upon checking into the hostel. But I have no choice cause other hostels are full. By the way, it is still consider "Acceptable". At least they did change the BED SHEET. It relieves me a lot cause it was comfortable to sleep on. The lounge area was great, spacious and cozy in the evening. Mosquitoes is a lot in the night so better prepare some mosquito spray!

Lot of smoking by owner in common area”
The owner is smoking in common area lot. The green LED illumination on hostel's outside wall is lighted over night. It's not only ugly in beautiful Luang Prabang city but also too bright for guests even we have shade for each compartment.

okay for a night”
this hotel is a bit far out. room was small and not really clean. the private bathroom was wet, the shower wetted the wooden door completely. There was no mirror in the room or bathroom. For that price which is for Luang Prabang comparably cheap I have had better accommodations.

the staff is nice. the toilets need more cleaning and there are many mosquitoes, like millions of them... it is the cheapest accommodation in town! i would stay again.

Alright place”
Good location from the night market and the river. We had the private room and it was fine. The bathroom has a lot of mold from humidity, but it's probably one of the cheapest private room in town, so you get what you pay for.

Ok for the price ”
It was very basic but Expextable for the price. The owners were really nice although smoked a lot in the common area. Cigaret smoke always enters the dorm when door left open. It was quite noisy so if you need somewhere quiet I wouldn't recommend it. Location wasn't ideal about 10 min walk to the Main Street and night market.

Very kind and helpful staff. Only fans and mosquito nets. Also came on maybe the hottest week of the year. A+ staff and one of the cheapest places I've ever stayed.

One big dorm, the bunks are alright.. But make sure, youll get a lower bunk, because the have a mosquito net... and there so many of mosquitos, so couldnt sleep that much Close to the nightmarket and free hotwater And yap sooo cheap

A really messy, below standard 'hotel'. Fine for one night stay only.”
The standard is a bit disappointing, the room looked inside like a shed on a building site. No door for the toilet, you could see the floor below through the floor and the sky through the celling. The wifi speed was average. It seemed like the owner didn't care much about anything, smoking cigarets in the reception, while the lady with a kid in her hands was doing all the job. A bit frustrating scene.

I would give zero stars if I could”
We called this place the jail cell. Our room was really rough. Super dirty. Hard bamboo mats on a wood frame for a bed. The bathroom was separated with too thin of a wall from the neighbors bathroom so we could hear and smell EVERYTHING coming from their side. Lacking in every way. The owner was not kind to us. After 3 months in SE Asia staying in guest houses this is the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The one and only good thing is the location.
