Good but under construction”
Its a good hotel but they were doing refurfishment works and it was noisy duringb the day. The pool is fab and the staff too.
A relaxing place to stay, my nephew love it here”
Cherry's Home Too Inland Resort is a nice hotel, a budget hotel with a swimming pool, a mere five minutes walk to the panglao beach resort, the place is near restaurants, (the hotel has one too, and they serve big serving, quality food). The staff is friendly, and very helpful, my nephew like it here, thanks for all the staff, they made our vacation in Bohol, so memorable
We recently stayed here during our visit n Bohol. One thing I noticed is that they don't have free toothbrush and tootpaste unlike other hotels. The airconditioning in one of the rooms that we stayed doesn't eork properly so we decided to just stay in another room. We also reported the issue to the staff and management but I they did not do something about it. We ended up still paying for the other room even if we didn't use it. I don't recommend this hotel.
Bad breakfast plate set meal, dirty water in swimming pool, no elevator, hard salty tap water, no water heater for coffee, pay for extra pillow, pay for hot water, and you have to take it from the reception and return by yourself back the used cups... Very bad service, very bad facilities..not worth it.
Expensive for its class”
Not worth it. Cheaper when booked at the hotel. always no person in the front desk so I was not able to say that I will be on island hopping next day hence my breakfast should be packed. Pool is not cleaned, the tiles are moldy. Head board of bed is not attached properly making some noise when you moved. Side table are not level, my bottle of beer spilled when placed atop. No bidet. Water is hard (dirty, your soap would not bubble). Old towels. Toiletries and water were not replenished.
Budget friendly recommendable hotel”
Location is perfect. Easy accessable to the Altona road which connected to alona beach.
good and convenient ”
Just the water is salty
good htel not far from the action.”
Good hotel no complaints from me. 5 min walk from the beach. staff were a big help with everything and after checking out they even let us leave our bags there for the whole day. we didnt come back till 7 that night. big thumbs up for this hotel
All we want is to provide you a comfortable stay. Thank you so much and we hope to see you again here.
Good hotel for exploring the island”
The hotel is next to transportation options and tour companies. Rooms is simple and clean, pool looked okay, but was undergoing cleaning the whole time we stayed there. Fried agg and toast for breakfast.
Worst wi fi ever.”
The most irritating thing about this place was the wi fi. It is absolutely the worst I have ever encountered in a hotel. I was constantly loosing it, but the most irritating thing was that you had to log back in, after you got kicked out of it. Also, we had to sign in with a new password everyday. Also, I am American and I could never get used to having a shower right next to the toilet, with no separation or shower curtain. Has no one been able to figure this out yet???? The staff was very nice and pleasant, but if you need Internet at all, forget this place.
The hotel is not bad but there are three things you should know: - that is very noisy in the night: all week opened disco club is situated close to the hotel and karaoke pubs too. even you put something inside your ears - the low tone hits your brain) -hotel is situated on the crowded street very far from normal beach, nearest normal beach is 15 minutes riding -from time to time(frequently) you have cold shower have a nice trip)
Rules are rules and nothing will get in the way. I understand all about rules but where is the common sense? One of our group and myself had our feet in the hot tub along with drinks in a plastic bottle. This disagreed with management, they sent the guard who told another and another to tell us (just grow a pair) but it was ok to take or feet out and step on the grass 1 foot away. Went swimming with a dive shirt(made to be in water) as to keep from burning in the midday sun. Was told had to remove the shirt. Again management refused to tell me themselves instead sent an intern(on the 1st day)to confront a guest. All I wanted was a little common sense and management to confront me instead of sending little messages like little school children.
not to bad a hotel ”
the stay was good. staff nice. room good and clean. breakfast poor. pool good. very nice place to stay. but on checkout they tried to say that there was a mark on the bed sheet and we had to pay there was no way that there was a stain on our bed sheet we think it was a con to get money out of us it was possible it was from another room ?????? or just a old sheet and a way to get some money off us and maybe other people
good location, just that”
we arrived around 10pm and the receptionist and all the staff were already sleeping; we had to request for extra beds and they weren't prepared, it took us sometime to settle down, and the we were already sleepy; fortunately the beds were ok, except the extra ones, they were just mattresses on the floor; i guess, just right for the price; toilet and bath was ok, but no hot water; towels weren't soft; breakfast servings were very small, had to pay for additional orders; if you're looking for a hotel just for sleeping, this one's good enough, but for more (less stress, relax a bit, good food, etc), i suggest you try other places
Strong Wifi, clean rooms and accomodating staff.”
Best hotel we stayed with along Alona. Staff were very helpful. You can let them know during the night if you have a scheduled tour early in the morning the next day so they can prepare you a sandwich. They do not have complimentary water and a for a cup of hot water for your coffee costs 5.00php. The prices of their food are overpriced (everywhere else in alona is). The serving of their complimentary breakfast is small. Staying in this hotel made our stay in Alona better as we were disappointed in the beach itself. Alona beach is just filthy and full of boats. I doubt I would be coming back here.
Location, comfort, suited for budget traveller”
This is very good for budget travellers. Although, the aircon at room no.11 was not enough to cool the room but they provided us with an electric fan. Wi-fi was good even inside our room. Free food for breakfast was so, so ... Towels were not changed & did not provide toiletries the next day. It's nice to dip in the pool after coming from the beach. What annoyed me was the attitude of one of the staff, named norie, because she asked for 100pesos as late check-out fee. Did not issue a receipt, thought it will go to her pocket. (Went down from the room at 12:45pm explaining to her that our car transfer wasn't there yet) But before that, my husband gave her a tip alteady. In this kind of situation, i think you should be tourist friendly as a come-on for more guests.
A nice suprise”
The staff was very accommodating, I arrived at 5 am because my ferry arrived at 4 am and I had no where to go. The staff person awoke and got me into my room even though I was 7 to 8 hours early for check in and for that I was eternally grateful. The location is a short walk from beach but the price was right. The only bad thing might be a karaoke bar that is ralatively close. Not their fault but can be loud. Pool was nice
Stay was just Ok”
Just Ok. Hotel is 5 minute walk to the beach front, a lot of restaurants in the area. Has a pool, but we're unable to use it because we saw a rat swimming in it. Late checkout for a fee, too expensive,, 200 (5$) per hour. Other hotels are more linient about late checkouts, if it is only 30-1hour late.
