Incredibly convenient to the school, the subway is just a quick walk, my favorite, the flower market is up the street and the street vendors are so nice. It’s just close enough to be convenient (Silom, Sukumvhit, etc.) and yet not in the midst of the hustle and bustle.

Clean and comfortable rooms that are small, but are fine for a short break. The breakfast is very nice. A bustling area during the day with coffee shops and restaurants nestled in amongst the market stalls and street food and at night there are excellent restaurants along the river. Plenty of taxis and tuk-tuks to take you anywhere and the MRT is only a 5 min walk.

Ideal location for Palace and temple tour. Very near to all the river restaurants. They even have a 7 eleven nearby. Very convenient! Only downside is staying in condition. Small room and bed is hard.

Room was very cossy but comfortable. Just opposite to reclining Buddha and 500mts to metro. Not a suitable place for shopping or nightlife because everything closed by 6 pm. Access to main Bangkok city is via metro and boat.

Located in the old city, with wonderful view on the Wat Pho Temple. Quiet at night, but nicely lively during the day. Ideal for those who don't want to stay in central Bangkok without being stuck in the full blown tourist area. Clean and agreable room. Staff at the reception is not 100% present, but there is a bistro connected to Chetuphon Gate as well as another hotel 2 blocks away which offers many services. So I got friendly help, advice or services when needed (e.g. booking of a massage in my hotel room from a masseuse from Wat Pho). Only thing that could be added to the stay was a simple breakfast offered by the bistro at the ground floor (I'd be willing to pay for it).

Great Stay, Good Service”
I just stayed at Chetuphon Gate few days ago. First of all, I'd like to thank you to the staff who upgraded my booking to a deluxe with free of charge, I really appreciated. This place is suitable to explore the cultural, old town, city tour - no rush just to relax. The room was really clean and the location is very good to access many place like Wat Pho (just opposite Wat Pho), Grand Palace, etc. It's very easy to get taxi or tuk-tuk. Wifi signal was really strong and easy to connect. Also, The staffs were nice, helpful and polite.

convenient, relaxing”
This hotel was very welcoming - we were late arriving but this caused no problems. The staff had limited English and appeared to work at both the hotel desk and in the ground floor restaurant. As such the front desk was not always available. That being said, the rooms were excellent (we had 3 including room 1 which is the room used for promotions - with the mezzanine floor bed). The views to What Pho were worth the room price in and of themselves. The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Kaosan Road and other attractions were all within walking distance. The river ferry was likewise a very short walk. All in all I would return to this hotel if I had the occasion to return to Bangkok for holiday purposes.

A good little hotel overall.”
Overall it was a good stay but for one thing that I will come to. The room was good and clean, but a little tight on space. The bathroom facilities were good, with shampoos, liquid soap and conditioner supplied. The view from the main window was great, of Wat Pho Temple, so we had only to cross the road for that, and the river services were a short walk away. Taxis and buses ran past the hotel, so were easy to come by, as were the Tuk-Tuks. One disappointment was that there was no fridge in the room, but with a 7-11 and many stalls nearby we got around that. Our main problem was that the road works seem to start at 10 pm where we were, but no doubt they are completed by now. There were plenty of electrical sockets in the room, making charging of cameras, etc easier, the Wi-Fi was good, and bathrobes are supplied too. Overall, a very good experience for less than the cost of other hotels in the area. To find it, it is just inside an alley, next to "The Gate" Restaurant, as taxi drivers do not know this hotel too well.

Highly recommended Boutique Hotel”
We couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here. On arrival (we were late) the friendly staff welcomed us and showed us directly to our room, which was small, but fitted out with all the modern facilities you need and extremely comfortable. We had made a dinner reservation at their sister property, Arun Residence, with their help via email, and the staff had already notified the restaurant to hold our table. When we arrived at the restaurant, they had given us the best table on the terrace, right beside the water. The food and service at Arun Residence, not to mention the staff, ambience and decor, is outstanding. A must if you stay in this area (for lunch or dinner). The location is fantastic, in the oldest area of Bangkok, walking distance to so many major attractions, the water (for river boats) and the flower market / River Walk. We would definitely stay here again.

The Gateway to Bangkok”
This was a perfect hotel for a first couple of nights in Bangkok. Located close to the Chao Phraya River on one side, Wat Phra Keow (The grand Palace) and Wat Pho (Wat Chetaphon) on the other. A short ferry ride across the Chao Phraya is Wat Arun. These are three of the most magnificent sights that you simply cannot miss on any trip to Bangkok and I have been back to these places many times. The hotel is literally across the road from the entrance to Wat Pho. The rooms are very nice and the food at the café is excellent. Wifi was good (not like many other places) and the staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended hotel

Thai style with modern sense, riverside, nice view”
It was fab!I would recommend it and wanna go back during my next trip to Bangkok. stayed at the top floor-bunk bed room. in the midnight, i openned the window and sat on it, watching the temples while feeling the holy serenity. Staff are friendly. Beds are comfortable. Worth th money and time.
