Great hotel with a wonderful view”

Amazing view from the veranda and roof. I want to stop time and enjoy. The friendly hostess greeted us with tea. Cooked a delicious dinner. There is hot water, a warm blanket. In the evening Kindle fireplace;) Morning left at 5: 30 at Horton, we made a Breakfast with you. I do not understand why such a lovely hotel such a low rating. The water in the shower goes bad - does it matter? I would go back to this place for a longer time. Thanks, Chez Allen!!!

Good Guest House with a wonderful view”

We spent one night at Chez Allen and really had a good time out there. Only issue was the distance from the main market area. Otherwise all the amenities and facilities were exceptional considering the room rent that they charge.

Clean, great view, good curry, helpfull staff”

Title pretty much sums it up. Its up a hill which gives a great view from the lounge area and balkony. A tuktuk will bring you up/down from/to the hotel and center for 150 ruupie. Or take a 15 min walk. Anton, the manager and local guide, is a great Guy and speaks English well.

My best stay in Sri Lanka ”

From a warm welcome, nice view, home made breakfast and diner near the fire place in the evening, it could not have been better. It's a place you don't feel leaving. My best guest house experience in Sri Lanka.

It was the worst tipe of hotel and although I booked 3 rooms there were only one left and I was helpless when I go there with my 3 friends families.also it is far away from city center environment is not so clean or nice anyway.it was the most owful bad experience I ever had.staff is very rude on us. i worn u people never even think of going or book that place.

Poor, poor staff!!! Couldn't get a heater for the rooms...was given one for two rooms....iron was provided with a statement that electricity is very expensive here....we didn't feel safe.....hence left next morning

El sitio es muy agradable.por la noche,cómo estaba lloviendo y hacia frio encendimos la chimenea y se estaba estupendamente.Las habitaciones están muy bien,lo malo es que no está en el pueblo,pueblo...aunque a nosotros como nos llovió a mares no nos importó porque no salimos del hotel

Draps humide comme jamais, chambre sale, sdb degueulasse, humidité ambiante au delà du supportable et dangereux pour me santé. La situation géographique de Nuwara Elyia n'excuse pas tout... Ne jamais s'arrêter dans cette Guest House, sauf pour la gentillesse du fils du patron et le Wifi super rapide

l'hotel qui est plutot une maison avec chambre d'hotes est actuellement en travaux, ainsi que la maison voisine. Nous avons donc eu l'impression de sejourner a cote d'un terrain vague. La maison est situee loin du centre. La famille qui tient cet hotel est charmante mais le prix des chambres n'est absolument pas justifie. On nous a d'abord offert une chambre avec vue sur un mur, vu notre deception la gerante nous a finalement propose une chambre avec une vue acceptable

Keine Ratten, keine Kakerlaken, es gab ein Bett Furchtbar! Es war schimmlig und dreckig. Die Hausdame war sehr unfreundlich und überhaupt nicht hilfsbereit. Wir würden hier nie wieder auch nur eine Nacht verbringen!

其实不错呀，价格便宜，房间不小，食物不贵且味道挺好，主人很好说话且人挺好，不过屋子有点冷

提前付费预定了三间客房，但到达后才发现工作人员根本没有管预定情况，直接安排一个四人间加一个二人间，让我们入住。再三说明我们是已经付费过了，才安排我们住隔壁老板亲戚的民宿。把我们分开了，很不爽。这家生意很好，住满了，客房预定管理是有问题的。老板态度其实挺好，很好说话，用了餐具泡面也没洗碗也没收钱。路太窄，很不好走，我们司机第二天都不愿意来接我们下山，老板帮我们叫了tutu才下了山。管理混乱，服务还不错。好坏参半吧。另外，住eliya还是别选山上了，潮湿到什么程度你睡觉时就能体会了。

Очень хорошее местоположение. В горах, но при этом пешком (15 мин) можно дойти до города. Вдали от суеты. Кормят вкусно. Хозяева хорошо готовят. Есть камин, вечерами погреться, посидеть.
