Stunning stay. You drive on a dirt road to get here, but once you arrive you feel absolute bliss!”
Pros: on the river, boats to use, bridges and paths to explore, freedom, breakfast, coffee, tea, amazing blankets and bed, fantastic hammock views from your porch, and overall feelings of happiness from the location. A bungalow stay is a must if you have not tried it. It was my friends first time- and he was HIGHLY IMPRESSED. Also, staff is lovely. Cons: a little challenging to get here- (we had motorbikes with all of our hear attached at night.) but nothing major. Honestly- no cons!

The scenery here is out of this world and that cannot be over emphasized in any possible way. The accommodations are funky at best so be prepared for that part of it. I would say this is more for the traveler and less for the tourist. But if you like adventure and breathtaking scenery you won’t find a better place

Nice place, but owners kids kicking puppies in the face”
The location was incredible, just like living in Jurassic Park. The staff were friendly, although the owners kids were purposely kicking their cute little puppies in the face and none of the staff were doing anything about it. The dogs looked very scared and would yelp and hide. It was traumatic to see.

This homestay is possibly the most beautiful place in Ninh Binh - you feel like you're in the middle of the Trang An boat tour without even leaving your room. Peaceful, relaxing and stunning atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We'd definitely go back.

The Best Homestay I Have Ever Been To. ”
This homestay was without a doubt the best home stay I have ever been. The homestay is brand new (opened Feb 2016) and the staff are absolutely amazing. I was travelling with a group of backpackers and they literally went out of their way to accommodate us (we were basically a 'nightmare' to deal with :P). They picked us up from the bus station for free, and helped us in every way possible. The property is in a stunning location nestled amongst limestone formation. The accommodation was clean and comfortable 'bungalow'-style. The shared dinner (40,000 VND) was great value and the breakfasts (free) were also above-average. Overall I would HIGHLY recommended anyone coming to the Tam Coc area to stay here - you will not regret it!

Into the nature - Strongly recommended”
I enjoyed my stay at Chezbeo to the fullest. This lovely homestay is located in the middle of stunning nature with magnificient rock mountains, lotus ponds and rice fields. Each room has its own charming architecture and amazing view. We stayed at a bamboo bungalow with mountain view and definitely had the most peaceful time ever. The owners and staffs were super helpful and flexible. They provided us with tons of useful travelling tips and helped us arrange transportation. Another plus is that they offer free bicycles and free breakfast. Strongly recommended!!!

Blending in with nature”
It suits someone who like to stay away from cities, facilities since the room is made of wood and bamboo and houses are isolated from each others. From the receptionist, I know that the total area is around 3 ha, but there are only 16 rooms. It's amazing that there is a bamboo bridge between each houses and the area is surrounded by mountain, lake, and trees. So it's really beautiful. However,inside each room there is almost nothing except for the 7-10 cm mattress, pillow and a hammock. My toddler girl loved the hammock. My room belongs to 4 room-house in which 2 rooms with double beds and another one with 2 -3 double beds. At night, it's quite noisy because you can hear everything from other rooms clearly. The road to Chezbeo is terrible becaus it is being widened. Cannot use bike, but need to rend motorbike(150K VND/day with petrol). This homestay is family-run, so you cannot expect to have pre-ordered meal on-timeTotally I satisfy with my stay & will recommend to my friends.

Peace of heaven ”
It was our second time here and this time we came back with a couple of friends that were so impressed with the beauty of this place and we enjoyed it even more than the first time! The guesthouse it's surrounded by mountains,little rivers, rice fields and surreal wild nature! The view from any room it's magical! All staff members are very friendly and they never bother you but they are very attentive and helpful if you need anything! The free breakfast it's decent and comes with a good cup of vietnamese coffee! I would definitely go back here, in fact I've just booked for another couple of nights for next week<3 I would recommend this place to anyone that love nature couples, single travelers and groups! P.s there're lots of activities in the nature, that you can do around the area!

Best location and amazing place! ”
Loved this spot. You are in the middle of nature as close to the mountains as you can get in a little jungle paradise. We stayed in the cheapest room for a few nights. Very basic but nice. They have free bikes to rent and staff and owners were incredibly helpful. Would absolutely stay here again and would stay in the bungalows. We got a tour of them later and they are all unique and cute! Perfect for couples or families.

If you like the nature then this is the place for you. Amazing amazing view. But be prepared for bugs and wild animals. No toilet door or door for the bungalow to begin with but every bungalow is situated far apart so u still get privacy. U will love it if u are a nature's person. Otherwise it will be a nightmare

Good value for room but a rip off on everything else”
We stayed in a stand alone bungalow with two beds and a private bathroom for $11/night and felt it was a good value. The grounds are beautiful, nestled in between the mountainous cliffs. However they tried, and sometimes succeeded, to rip us off in other ways. No taxi driver would bring us there so we had to pay 100k for the 10 minute drive from Tom coc to the hotel with an employee of the hotel. It seemed there was no other way to get to and from the hotel except for their taxi driver or their rented motorbike, so if you don’t have your own wheels they will rip you off. They rented us a motorbike for 150k for the afternoon with no gas and no working lights. They tried to charge us 100k more for the second night than the first (including by trying to make up an inaccurate exchange rate), and it took me being pretty aggressive to get the correct rate. In general we found them to be very dishonest and unhelpful.

Worst experience ever. Never come back!”
I'm going to complain a lot of things following except 2 male receptionists. Only they're friendly & helpful. First of all, when I checked my bkg with chezbeo staff, they told us not receive my bkg. The thing is they didn't re-check even though I called them several times & gave them the bkg no. as well as bkg confirmation via email. I had to contact with agoda to resolve this case. Secondly, when I got there, they arranged us another room (room no.6 with very poor conditions). After discussing, it turned out they received a family with 3 members & there was no double-bed room left, I had to stay room no.14 (dormitory). Their explaintion was they had 2 people who check bkg and arrange room for guest & of course they didn't check w each other. Thirdly, room is NOT clean. A lot of insects & not private at all. We couln't sleep because we could listen all talks of other guests even though they whispered. There're still other terrible things but I can't write all here due to limited texts.

Depending on your purpose, this place is ok for any one who wants stay with nature, with a special experience. Don't let valuable things in your room, it's not safe. The bath room is not safe and the bed is not clean enough, it itch my skin. And in summer, it's very hot and dry in the north of Vietnam, I recommend you should rent a hotel room instead, because the room here doesn't have air-conditioned.

the worst homestay we have been to”
the room we got was not clean and not orgenized, with lots of spider nets around. the staff doesn't know very much english abd there were a lot of problams with our booking, they don't know how to deal with bookings via internet. we had to raise our voice so we could pay the amount written in our booking. we left in the evning to go and eat in the village and when we got back the gate was locked, no one told us that the gate locks at 21:00. luckly there was a phone number and we had phone calls. the locatin is good for who is looking for quiet and nature but very far from any food or night life.

100% to consider: YOU HAVE TO WALK”
The stay’s natural beauty is beyond the expectation! You can have hundreds of modern hotels but not easy to experience such amazing and stunning views here. The unprofessional service from theirs might ruin its reputation THOUGH. Walking through muddy and clays could be parts of the adventure but only with the help of the staff, especially the receptionist who always fails to deliver the service....i witnessed a guest had to run in the middle of clay back to the hotel and ask him for the taxi after 1 hour waiting outside of nowhere. The leading signs are not enough to follow. Slow food service also. Ok, i love the place and hope they hire someone that has good understandings of tourism. Once again, they own the strongest weapon of the natural beauty.
