AMAZING owners ”
Great cheap place to stay in Chiang Mai. The owners are super amazing, kind, friendly and really helpful. The rooms are really good (AC, fans), the bathroom are clean. There’s free breakfast (coffee, tea, fruits, bread..). Definitely recommend this place ! /!\ DO NOT PARK your bike on the empty area next to the Laudry place, a crazy woman from the next shop tried to scam me asking me for 30 baht because I had parked there for literally 2mn when I arrived. She was talking to me like crap, shouting at me for “30 baht NOW NOW NOW!!” and the owners of the hostel helped me and defended me against that crazy person, they told me not to pay because she’s a nasty person who always do that. Even though her signs for no parking are only in thai and on the wrong side of the area. Anyway.. had a hard time when arriving at the hostel and the staffs were AMAZING to me !! Thank you so much for your help and kindness 🙏❤️ Flora.

not really yhe best, but good value for money”
come here if you are only a cheap traveller, else you will only complain. i could only stay here 2 nights. the rooms smell, the bathrooms are not as clean or nice, the common area feels cramped. but hey, this is the cheapest. place in Chiang mai. you can choose other ones with higher cost and better facilities. best part is its on the street of saturday night market, so just step out of the hostel and you are in the market. even the sunday night market is just a walk away. tons of really nice and really cheap food options just a walk away. i shifted to anothere hostel in the same area because the area is awesome. its where locals live and few tourists. still in the center of the town. the lady charges 10baht for 1.5 hours of AC during the day, which is not bad, she is not earning anything. she is just charging the basic electricity rate for the AC. dont be a cheapster and expect wonderful facilities at 100 baht.

Great place to stay!”
The place has probably the best value for money in Chiang Mai. The staff and owners are very friendly, ready to help and give advice on any questions one may have. There are great offers from the hostel for booking tours. If one does book a tour from the hostel then they give you a bonus of either 1 night free stay or many other various bonuses for doing so. I ended up coming back to stay here after my first 4 nights, just to stay another 7 nights or so again. I have tried staying in the 4 bed dorm, the 12 bed dorm and in the private room. All rooms were spacious, clean and very affordable. My top priority is that the place has to have no bed bugs (no signs of that at all), it was generally very clean! The beds are very comfortable (thick mattress). All in all a great place to stay, thank you for everything, i would definitely stay here again if i come back to Chiang Mai

The best hostel in Chiang Mai”
This hostel is very cool, it has all sorts of options in terms of rooms. The owner was one of the nicest people i met in Thailand, she has so many advices and tips for all of your needs! The offers they offer for tours comes with extra benefits, such as getting an extra free night at the hostel, or a free battery pack or 200 baht credit, its amazing! The rooms and beds were kept clean every day. The value for money is unbeatable in all of Chiang Mai! The vibe in the hostel was great. I would highly recommend this hostel to everyone! Thank you so much for everything. I am definitely coming back to this hostel next time im in Chiang Mai, i just hope its available as its very popular!

Solo travel”
I’ve been there for 1 day only but really like the rules there, it’s about self-consciousness. They will expect to hygiene’s customer quite clean as put shoes outside, stinky clothes not allow to dry in the dorm, etc. 1 big plus point is this hostel really near the night market and many nice coffee shop, also Chiang Mai airport. I will recommend it for solo traveller like me!!!

Good”
Easy hostel good to crash for a couple of days. Lot of people, very small bathrooms and showers (and not so clean). Rooms a bit smelly. I wouldn’t go back, better to pay a little extra for a better place.

Okay”
Considering the price, the hostel is fine. At the same time, you can pay the same price or even a little less to stay elsewhere in Chiang Mai and be in nicer hostels. There are only a couple of bathrooms (far fewer than the number of beds), and these tended to be not super clean and let tons of mosquitoes in through the open windows. The bed was really comfortable, though, and has nice dark curtains, plug, light, and a small safe. The location is also fine for visiting the Old Town, though it isn’t as lively at night as some of the main hostel areas around the North Gate.

Above average”
super cheap. good place to crash down. when chk in or chk out there's no staff at reception. I chk out by writing down a note and return the key card. you can travel anywhere by a motorbike. not close to a decent restaurant.

they require more money”
they require more money for using air conditioning. I didn't expect that. They should inform about that before I reserve. And you have to pay for using towel also. It's better to go to another hostel with the same price including air conditioning fee

Highly Recommend”
This hostel was took me by surprise. The dorms and bathrooms are what you would expect for the price, but it is really the service that made this place memorable. The owner is so sweet and will do what she can to always accommodate and make sure you have a great stay. She gives great rates on all tours when booked through her, this month she was also offering a free night and breakfast with a tour booking! I was able to check in early and due to the promotion, extend my stay for 3 days at very little cost. Good a/c in the rooms and nice common area with a fridge. Location is great, short walk to the south gate food markets every night where you can eat for under $3US a day! And the Saturday walking markets go right down the street in front of the hostel! Will absolutely stay here again!!

Great stay, clean, great owner”
5 minutes walking distance from the night market which is super nice. Far away from the bus station tho (to consider if you want to take the bus to Pai or Chiang Rai at some point). The owner was very friendly and helpful. The dorm were very clean and quiet and the bed cozy and comfy. Would definitely recommend!

extremely nice and competent staff. clean. they have a computer. roomy and comfy beds. close to town. nice facilities. I rarely write reviews but in this case I just had to. simple but 10/10 in value for money and satisfaction.

Good value”
Cons - other than old city and weekend market, it is a distance to travel to night market (~15-20 mins walk), train (10 mins by tuktuk), and bus station (15mins by tuk tuk) . Wifi strongest in lobby. Better maintaince might be needed to keep the bathroom clean. It is otherwise sufficient for my 2 nights stay. Pros - curtains in bunk beds for privacy. Hosts are friendly and would share knowledge on things to do. Many tours and onward journey trips can be booked with them - prices are transparent and written on the wall. Seems to be offering valued trips and discounts. Has bike rental that is cheaper than outside places as well.

Good atmosphere very basic hostel.”
Good location and comfy beds with some privacy if you want cos of curtains. Nice bunch of people visiting the hostel. however the place needs a renovation big time - the shower was mouldy and the water was dripping from the ceiling downstairs. Nice and helpful staff and loads of trips etc. optional breakfast. You get what you pay for. Plus few new friends 😀

Ok hostel”
I stayed in the hostel two times, in March and now in April during Songkran. The first stay was in the original location of the hostel and it was great! Nice bed, quite peaceful athmosphere and the owner-lady was super helpful! The toilets/bathrooms are a bit old though. During Songkran I was transferred to the new location inside the walls. The new place was definitely not ready for guests!! Leaking pipes, water off almost all the time, broken air-conditioning, logitics problems between the different branches etc. Toilets and showers were small and you didn't really get any privacy. The staff tried their best but they had too much in their hands. Maybe when the building is ready, the place shows its true face!

Very good”
Can’t go wrong for the price. Cheap and basic, has all you need for a good price. The owner is really nice and helps with anything you need. She let me have a late checkout till 4 so I didn’t have to sit around for my bus all day. They organise tours, trips and any other transport. Added bonus sat night market is on the street outside and every day a great st food market is at the top of the road
