Not and ideal place”
I booked 4 rooms- 3 cottage with garden view and 1 twin beds. Most everything is so broken down, wholes in the door, bathroom smells, beds are old and stained. Comforter is thin and when requested for another blanket I had to pay for using the extra baby blanket. Disappointing place to stay, very run down place though it is beautiful of everything was up keeps.

misleading info”
As you mentioned in your booking, this resort is supposed to provide breakfast, but it failed to honor it. Actually there is no breakfast at all. You should realize that "Breakfast included" is in fact one of our major concerns, we might choose other hotels, if this one has no breakfast. Here I do submit my complain for your consideration, thanks.

Beautiful resort with very nice garden”
The Chiangsan Goldenland Resort is a nice hotel in good location close to the river and short distance away (a few minutes by bicycle or tuk-tuk) from the market and the main temple ruins. The rooms are clean, the garden is lovely - with a big swimming pool. The staff is really friendly and kind but they don't speak much English. The breakfast was great - mixed Thai and Western style and very rich.

Great bungalow in a nice garden and free bike hire”
We had a relaxing two day stay there, pottering around the town on bikes and eating out down by the river. Chiang San is a laid back little town and the Goldenland was a good base to explore from as it is based near the old walls and temples. Only a two minute drive from the river restaurants.

best value in town”
We stayed in a two room cabin which was nice and relatively private. The hotel has nice grounds with lots of landscaping. Breakfast was simple but good each morning. The staff was pleasant and friendly but only a couple spoke English. The rooms are simple and typical for budget hotels in Asia, but seemed clean. We would stay again as there didn't seem to be much other choices in town in this price range.

Quite place ”
Clean room , well maintaned with a swimming pool and a great value for money. Recomended for travellers who wanted a quient get away. Chiang sean was quite near to the golden triangle , a recomended place for a night stopover.

Wonderful place to stay”
At first the hotel seems to be very remote serene and peaceful; Serene and peaceful it is but when you start to look around it is not remote the town is small and has everything you need. You can walk into town in 25mins with a brisk pace and if that’s two strenuous the hotel staff can arrange taxi service by car or Bike and sidecar. The hotel is kept in pristine order and the grounds as well as the rooms are very well maintained and the gardens beautiful. Lovely restaurant and very helpful staff and te food is good

we'd stay again”
We've stayed here before and are happy with the value. They have a large landscaped area and a big pool. The individual cabins are nicer than the hotel rooms (so maybe the cabins could be 4-star in Asia, but the hotel rooms are certainly 3-star level). Breakfast is good, but simple. The staff are nice and helpful, but their English is limited.

Great hotel with friendly staffs. They provide free bicycles to cycle around.The rooms are spacious and clean. The location are very convenient to everywhere. we stayed there for 5 nights. Unfortunately the lighting In the room is a bit to dark.

Wonderful location”
we have stayed there for 5 nighgs. The Hotel has great location. we enjoyed the stay there. The staffs always served with a smile. They provided us free bicycles to cycle around. The room are clean and the towels are very clean too. Unfortunately the room's lighting is a bit too dark.

large facility with pool and landscaping”
The hotel was great for my purposes. The room was basic but seemed clean enough. Internet was free and good. Breakfast was prepared the same each morning, simple, and good. The staff didn't speak a lot of English but were helpful and friendly. I had a vehicle but the location would be too far to walk from the busy part of town near the market and shops. I didn't use it, but the pool look nice.

Small Lovely Hotel with a nice landscape”
Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is good, with both American and Thai serve to you. However, I believe it will be better to choose the cottage as the rooms on the 2 story building are build mainly of wood, so noise from other rooms or even people walking can sound pretty loud. The room is also quite small and not well equipment like most other 3 stars hotel.

In the city, close to khong river”
Outside has enough car park, beautiful garden, and swimming pool which suit for relaxing. Inside the bed, there is every appliances necessary for a trip. I do love the building built as the northern style, and I found that kind of building at this resort. I was really a great time stay here, and fulfill my trip more perfect.

ok place for the money”
We have stayed here before. The cottages are much nicer than the hotel rooms. Our hotel room had a broken toilet seat and generally wasn't well maintained. Given the cost it is an ok place to stay and base out of. Breakfast was fine, but quite limited. (fried eggs, rice soup, toast and fruit). The staff is nice but doesn't have a lot of English.

A bit difficult to find the place as the hotel is in the soi which is not well known although it is not too far from the river. The sign should be clearer. Only the local residents know the hotel.

Best hotel area in the city”
+a great quiet garden with a swimming pool to chill + nice and helpful staff + basic but nice and clean bungalows, cleaned and refilled daily + free bicycles to go around the town - breakfast is very basic - only 2 chairs at the swimming pool About 5 min walk to the river, 10 min to the centre and the market, yet away from loud streets

beautiful place near everything”
allowed to use bikes for free which was great for biking to golden triangle (8 km) and also for biking to town. lovely grounds and very friendly staff with the old city wall just outside the gates if you are a history buff. very clean and breakfast was very good, would recommend to family.

nice hotel quiet”
this was a nice hotel but a little out of town and despite having a restaurant it was not open sp only alternative is to go all the way into town which if you are only staying overnight might be a problem, rooms were good with good aircon and very nice gardens with a pool. breakfast was plain and basic but i guess adequate
