Chinatown hotels & accommodations

Darling Harbour is only a a 15 minute walk from Metro Aspire. I was here for work and had to be at the ICC daily and the walk was very easy. There are very good priced places to eat nearby and the Gum Tree (restaurant at Metro) also has a very reasonably priced menu (compared to places at Darling Harbour). Closest public transport is the light rail which is about a 10...

Blink and you’ll miss Breakfree on George, however this is a very impressive hotel nestled in the busy streets of Sydney’s central area. We stayed for two nights and were surprised with large rooms, apartment type facilities (e.g. kitchen and laundry) and really enjoyed the close proximity to all of Sydney. The benefit of being so close to Chinatown means there is no e...

Overall, my stay was a good one....despite being one at short notice, which i will know for next time to book a 'lil further in advance (leave it til the last minute- expect to pay a good deal more) As far the room goes it was good...any higher it'd be on the roof... as it was the room was on the top floor and it was all ready to go which is nice and the view was pret...

My wife and I stayed here as we had a night out and wanted something not too expensive. The hotel is very close to the city centre and the fact that it's based in Chinatown, there are no shortages of transport, food and activity options. The room condition was clean and tidy, but I do feel that the 4 star rating is a bit overrated, with 3.5 stars at best. Having said t...

Booked as an impromptu stopover on our way back from the Phillipines. Great location for Darling Harbour and Chinatown. Great facilities, the only real downside was the shelf in the shower, you had to be very careful not to catch yourself quite badly and watch the tiny step in and out of the bathroom.. you barely notice it until you stub your toe. Comfy bed, very clea...

The location on George St near Chinatown was ideal for us. The price was good. The room was clean although had a strong chemical smell which disappeared after airing the room and stayed gone. There is no ensuite to the family room #203 but there are at least 3 shower/toilet rooms and at least one extra toilet. I'm a light sleeper so woke couple of times to hear other...

This is a very nice place - the kitchen, lounge and bathrooms are all very spacious and well looked after. The location is brilliant - it is just a few hundred metres from Paddy's Market and Woolworths Metro. Central Station is just a few minutes walk. Definitely one of the cleanest, tidiest hostels I've ever witnesses. However, the bedding was not comfortable. The...
