Wonderful experience”
I had an outstanding experience at Ching Jing Homeland Resort Villa. To begin, the location is excellent as the buildings are located a short distance from the main road which provides a bit of privacy and stunning views of the surrounding mountains and nearby agricultural fields. There is a great patio from which to enjoy the views. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious with good attention to detail. The buffet style breakfast that was included with the room was delicious and had many choices. More than anything else, the proprietors at Ching Jing Homeland Resort Villa are wonderful. They went out of their was to make me feel at home and patiently taught me a lot about the local culture. Since most of the restaurants in Ching Jing are family style, when the proprietors observed that I was a solo traveler, they invited me to enjoy dinner with the family. Most of the delicious vegetables included in the multiple dish meal were grown on location by the father of the proprietor. If you are looking for a personal touch and family-style environment when staying in Ching Jing, do yourself a favor and stay here!

A place with warmth and character”
Ching Jing Homeland Resort Villa is suited for families with children who loves dogs. They have a resident dog called Xiao Mi who is one of the most adorable dogs ever! Also, the owners are extremely helpful in providing us with information such as how to enjoy Ching Jing as well as where to head to for tasty meals. The view of the resort is lovely where there are boundless mountains in sight on a good day with no mist. It is also situated near the highest 7-11 in Cing Jing. Definitely recommend this place!

Awesome view and close to the Cingjing Farm”
We have an awesome stay at the Ching Jing Homeland Resort Villa. The room is spacious and the bed comes with an electric warmer blanket which is really necessary especially during the winter time where the temperature at night can be low. The owners are both very friendly and helpful. It is within walking distance to the Cingjing Farm although one will need to walk more to reach the visitor centre. The breakfast is simply local fare but we are very delighted as the breakfast is tasty.

Zhi Ming (owner of the minsu) is an extremely friendly and attentive person. He made sure that our needs were being met and even brought us to star gazing and introduced us to the constellations with his telescope. It's a pity we couldn't stay longer but we are sure that we will be going back there again. This is the second time we are staying here at Ching Jing Homeland Resort Villa.

Relax, close to nature and breathtaking view”
This was a great resort where i certainly will going again next time. Miss their dog Xiao Mi so much. He will entertain the guest in main living room. The breakfast was something interesting where you seldom have a chance to taste it in any 5 star hotel. It was some local homecook breakfast prepared by the couple's parent. Some advise for ladies with high heel where you need to walk a 2 minutes walk from main road to the resort and the road are somehow a little bit steep. They did offer a free transport service to carry you to the main road by car or back from Ching Jing Farm/Swiss Garden with a reasonable charge of 50NTD only

Well my comment will be same with the previous commentator " Cingjing homeland villa is a family run hotel located below the main Ren He road. Our taxi driver took a few turns before we noticed a small sign board of this hotel and have to drive down the narrow road to the hotel. if you want to go out, you have to walk out via the narrow road to main road. So at night, it is not too convenient. Along Ren He road, there are many hotels. The room is quite small, and we got a room at the 3rd floor, and the stair case are outdoor and not connected to lobby/restaurant. it was a little inconvenient for us as when we were there, it was raining and not easy especially with young children. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay in Cing Jing. the owners were helpful and their labrador was very cute. the kids enjoy playing with her. for dinner, you can arrange transport with resort to chauffeur you to good restaurants with reasonable price." well yes the hotel owner and his pet is very friendly. especially the laborador. but again location is hard to find. the road to narrow. if you decide to go out at night you may need to get assistance with the hotel shuttle van, and have to ask for a place to meet up or pick up.

Excellent service, and interesting place to stay in”
The villa is located on the higher side of Ching Jing area, higher up the mountain beyond Ching Jing Grassland. There is a further short walk needed from the main road. The owner of the villa is extremely nice, giving useful guides and suggestions to me on what we can do there. We are always greeted by their friendly regards. They have a "warmer" on their bed, which is very useful given the cooling weather at Ching Jing. I consider my stay in the villa to be very good.

A good hotel in Cing Jing Farm”
This trip was my honeymoon trip, when we arrivedthis hotel(Cing Jing Homeland). They arrange agood view double room for us we have a good rest. This hotel had above ten years history in Cing Jing Farm, Mr.Chan and his son both were sincere and friendly guy,very impress me,even we lost the way to hotel, just contact them ,they drive us in very short time, thanks to this good catering and serving attitudes.,

Location is near to bus stop. Walkable distance to green green grassland. Nearby have lots of eateries and ferry service to anywhere in ching jing is only NTD50 per person per trip. Hotel owners are friendly and accommodating. Hotel room have bed warmers, vacuum water heaters, thick blankets to ensure your maximum comfort. Tea and hair dryer are provided in the room too. Recommended and its value for money.

Cosy and happy stay”
Further away from the town and off the main street, it’s a tranquil and cosy environment, perfect for a relaxing stay. Despite slightly off town, the hosts do offer shuttle service from the centre and vice-versa at a nominal fee compared if we were to take a cab in cingjing area. It’s also a convenient location especially for those travelling to–and-fro via public transport (Nantou Bus) as the designated bus stop are just a short walk upslope from the villa. However, people with heavy luggage may find it challenging to lug down the uneven slope to the villa and climbing some fleets of stairs to the room. Being the only residents there during an off-peak period, we get a wonderful warm host where the owners help us with making cup noodles and chit-chat session at their bar counter for supper. Breakfast was home-cooked noodles with their home-grown vegetables and a generous pot of tea brewed by the grandpa. The only grip for us would be no hot water access due to low water usage in the whole compound and we didn’t want to waste water to keep the water flowing just to get water. So we made it up with a trip to Lushan Hot Spring that the kind owners arranged. But again, can’t complain much about the cold weather and the lack of heating conditioning if we chose to travel during the winter period, cos it’s pretty much the same practices elsewhere say inns in Mt Sapa, Vietnam, where only heaters are provided. So it’s best to tuck into bed early!

Comfortable, but do not expect much”
The villa is an excellent place for couples or solo travellers in the sense that it's a good cheaper alternative. Room is very comfortable with very hot waters for relaxing showers! Bed is really comfortable as well. Locality wise, it is pretty far from the main attraction site of Ching Jing (although they provide bus services with certain conditions if i rmb correctly..) so getting there is a bit of a hassle. They have a dog there that is extremely cute, while staffs themselves are friendly and they actively recommended things for us to do there. Overall, a good place for a budget travel.

Before we stay at the hotel, the staff has reminded us to bring extra clothings due to cold weather at Ching Jing. The staff was friendly and let us play around and taking photographs with his pets. The staff has provided us a very spacious room and the facilities was good. The breakfast was a simple buffet style but it taste good!

Enjoyable Place”
We arrived early at Cingjing Homeland Resort and had great recommendation from the person there. He told us to walk downwards, where most activities were and gave us a few numbers of restaurants that do pick up services, so we can get transport to the restaurants and also back to the hotel. Cingjing is a place for a 1 day trip as there isn't much to be done in the area. Walking from the resort along the mountain roads and not the vehicle road will bring you to the main area, which is a safer path. The room was spacious, and well equipped. The weather was just great such that we did not have to use the heater.

- Good location as you can get there with a public; Nantou Bus. Please check the name of the bus stop in Chinese or Pingyin. It's only 3~4 minute walk from that bis stop. - Don't forget to arrange a Hehuanshan star gazing & sunrise tour at the reception. It costs me NTD 400 /pax. Was super awesome. - There is a trail leading you to Cingjing Farm from this place. It was a very pleasant walk.

Took Nantou Bus from Taichung to CingJing. Inform driver to alight @PingGuo Yuan, few stops after QingQing CaoYuan/Farm (attraction) Quite far up e mountain. Abit isolated. Alight & walk up, don't cross to opp. Spot signage & follow down a steep less taken rd. Cross junction u'll see a plantation on left, go down e right & u'll see e resort. Cute Golden Retriever. Minsu run by family, don't speak Eng Got a spacious rm with attic (prior email req) with window to look @stars. Saw smaller rooms with less scenery and privacy. Glad we emailed them earlier. Hot water dispenser in room, range of TV channels. Toiletries provided. Owner sent us to e farm. 4options to return to minus 1.Walk down to visitor center after e farm & seek help to call owner. NT100 to fetch 2.Owner recommends 2restaurants providing free transport if you dine there 3.Take public bus up to PingGuo Yuan 4.Negotiate with taxis for a fare Opted to buy back instant noodles from 7-11 & called owner to fetch @Visitor Center infront of Starbucks. Quite cold at night. Owner called us when stars came out and intro astrology with a powerful laser pointer. V cool. The dog was super friendly. They have bubbles to play too. Nice to just sit out and relax while enjoying the scenery. BF was simple, not fantastic. Love this place. Only location abit inaccessible. Cool to sleep in attic. Nice owners. Free internet but less connected in the room.
