Best place if you have to get up early to see sunrise ”
Staff at hotel is really nice, she explained about everything we should do and also make a plan for us where we should walk and see. They also have morning call if you aren’t sure you can get up to see sunrise but at hostel don’t have elevator so if you have a big luggage you have to carry it to your room because no one help you. Hotel also includes for breakfast but breakfast will be in other building. Last thing don’t forget to asked them how to open heater, if forgot you have to stay cold all night because no one tell you again. ถ้าใครวางแผนจะไปดูพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นตอนเช้าที่อาบีซาน ที่นี่ถือว่าเป็น1ในตัวเลือกที่ดี ถึงแม้ราคาอาจจะแรงไปสักหน่อย แต่สามารถเดินเพียง5-10นาที ก็ถึงสถานีรถไฟแล้ว พนักงานของโรงแรมได้แนะนำในเรื่องของการเดินชมป่าให้ฟัง พร้อมทั้งมีแผนที่และรายละเอียดเป็นภาษาไทยให้ด้วย เสียตรงที่ไม่มีลิฟต์ให้ แต่ในเรื่องของสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกภายในห้อง มีให้ครบทุกอย่าง

Great hotel at Alishan”
Very good hotel at alishan. Staff was friendly, room were clean and good. There is no lift here, so if you have heavy luggage it maybe a problem. Breakfast is provided at another place which is 5minutes walk away. Good breakfast as well. 24 hour 7-eleven is nearby too.

Value for money ”
This is by far my favourite hotel of my Taiwan stay and it's so affordable. It's super clean and the staffs were very very helpful in all aspects. Bathroom is nice too. Room was very spacious. Location is good too, many eateries and cafes around. It's within walkable distance to the nightmarket. Highly recommended.

This property is located in Alishan National Park, about 900 meters from the parking spot, which is not far away and is equipped with in-room amenities. And the staff at the reception are excellent.

Hotel is nice, and right in Alishan scenic area. Rooms are clean and compact. Bed was very comfy and helpful staff. Gave map and hiking routes, hotel also offers excursions.

A basic old hotel , with comfortable room and 24hrs hot shower. Staff were friendly and very helpful. They provided drop off service to the Alishan bus station at the end of our stay.

Helpful reception staff”
Reception lady was super helpful, called before we arrived to ask when we arrive in order to arrange the shuttle bus. Very keen at explaining the park and hotel facilities, accommodating many people, even though she’s all by herself while flocks of visitors kept coming in. She’s allowed us time to consider options offered after explaining fully about all we needed to know. She’s also helped cancellation from multiple groups due to 2019-nCoV. Bi-lingual and decent English communication skills to answer questions/concerns/suggestions. Very friendly and pleasant experience, even though the facility is a bit dated. She’s made all the differences!!!

Awesome stay in Alishan”
Inside the hotel is very warm as Alishan is very cold. They provide a shuttle transfer from the hotel to the transportation hub in Alishan. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is also discount in selected restaurant in Alishan if you are the guest of this hotel. The hotel also provide sunrise tour in another hill. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Super helpful staff and best value. ”
The place is basic but is truly compensated by the super helpful staff. She can speak very good English. She was efficient and informative. On our way out, she rang and checked to make sure that our shuttle bus to Sun Moon lake was running as there was roadworks that was stopping the bus. Breakfast included was a good spread of Taiwanese breakfast buffet, make it super value for money.

Staffs were friendly and even drove us to the entrance of Alishan National Scenic Area after we checked out. She also recommended some possible itinerary during our stay there. Place was enough for two. Only downside is, there is no heater in the room. Overall, it was a nice stay with them.

Room is big, everything alright”
Room is big for 4 double beds room, however i feel too squeeze. I will probably not book for a big family room, because everyone are rushing to go to toilet in the same time. However, overall in Qing Shan is ok

Woods view in the hotel area of Alishan town.”
This was the last minute booking and i’m considered quite lucky to have this. Price was high compare to other city but it’s Alishan town and there is not many options. The receptionist was strict at the checkin which i guess due to long day working, the next morning she was nice. Free breakfast is 10 mins walking from the hotel, it was Taiwanese breakfast and quite good.

Room is small but it is value for money. Staff was very helpful in explaining how to get sunrise train tickets and how to walk the trails in the Alishan area. We are satisfied.

Ok for a short stay”
Pricey but so are all the other hotels in Alishan. Staff was friendly and was able to inform us about everything we need to know to watch the sunrise the next morning. Room was adequate. Free breakfast at a nearby small restaurant which was nice. Down jackets available for rent at TWD 100 each if you are planning to watch the famous sunrise.
