Comfortable hotel with a great location”
The only thing i did not like about the hotel was that they were very strict about the checking in and checking out time. my flight was earlier than expected so i arrived at the hotel at about 7am. but i wasnt allowed to check in till 3. other than that, everything else was great. the service was fast, the bed was comfortable. everything else was there. they had staffs that could understand english. some that didnt. but they were efficient enough. my japenese friend mailed me some stuff and i was surprised that they called my hotel room to inform me. the location was great too. near hamamatsucho, a great station to get to the best places without having to transfer to much. there's macdonald across the hotel. and a convenient store too. the hotel was also quite easy to find as it was stated in the map at the train station.
Great location but very small rooms”
the hotel is near the hamamatsucho station which makes it a convenient location for travelers coming in and out of haneda airport during the wee hours. but from train station to the hotel requires a walk through quite a few flight of steps. so its not advisable to carry heavy luggage. the rooms are small as expected in tokyo, japan. good for travelers on business trip and shopping trips, for returning to hotel to rest for the day.
Small hotel but good one”
We stayed there only for few hours as we just booked the hotel right after we arrived at haneda airport. The location is quite good, it is near hamamatsucho rail station. We walked into the hotel in the midnight and it is relatively easy to be found. When we went into the room it is a small one typical any japanese hotel. Bottomline it is a good hotel with reasonable price.
Quaint little hotel”
hotel was situated in a convenient location, about 10 minutes walk to 2 subway lines and a mcdonalds right across the street. it is situated in a business area so not too many tourist locations around, except maybe tokyo tower. staff were very friendly, helping me hold onto luggage, loaning me a wifi router for free and even lending me an umbrella for a day when it rained. rooms are a bit small, but that is expected in tokyo. they don't skimp on amenities though, the small room even has an ironing board. great utilization of space. overall, a great experience.
Clean room with good facilities”
The room was very clean, and all the necessary amenities were provided. The location is good because it is just a short walk from Hamamatsucho station and it is within walking distance to the Tokyo Tower. My room also had a nice view of neighbouring buildings. The only downside is that it is difficult to carry a heavy luggage up and down the stairs at the station, but I could not find an alternative way to reach the hotel without climbing the stairs.

Great Location, Great Standards”
Chose this hotel based on price and location, came away feeling it was well worth the money. Apart from the above mentioned cons, we had an excellent stay and were mighty impressed with the overall atmosphere and standards all the staff had while we were there. We had no problems with any of the staff speaking English. The biggest issue we had was apart from the convenience store next door, we couldn't find many restaurants opened late until you head towards Daimon Station (next to Hamamatsucho Station) which is at least a 20 minute walk away.
Perfect for our value”
we had a one day layover from narita, and were looking for a hotel in tokyo that would be close to the tsukiji fish market. this was perfect for the price and location we were looking for. we read a couple of concerns about the room size and location directly next to the train. the room was small - if you're carrying lots of luggage i could see it as an issue, but we were traveling light. the location is right next to the train, but the noise was negligible (these aren't choo-choo trains, after all) and the station closes down a little after midnight anyways. the walk from the jr train station to the hotel is totally manageable (it's basically a stroll through a toshiba office park). didn't see too much in terms of restaurants, but that may have as much to do with the time of day we arrived & departed. would definitely stay again for proximity and price.
Great location, small rooms”
The hotel is located very near to JR Hamamatsucho station. The rooms are small (as usual for the hotels in Japan), but clean. The staffs are friendly.
Nice location”
Room is very clean. Amenities are complete for business traveler, including razors, hair combs, ironing board and hairdryer. I really appreciate the free LAN internet access, which is lacking at other hotels with the same class. Overall, I enjoyed staying at Chisun Hamamatsucho Hotel.
Returning Guest”
I've stayed at this business hotel several times now because I prefer to fly into Haneda Airport and this hotel is not far from the monorail station. The hotel is located a stone's throw from the bay area and is surrounded by office towers so is generally quiet except that it backs onto the busy rail lines that run to and from Hamamatsucho Station. The noise from the trains is negligible on the far side but I've never stayed on the track-facing side so can't comment. The facilities are pretty much what a business traveller would need: a place to sleep and shower. I haven't tried the breakfast because at a 1,200 yen premium I would rather go out for coffee and croissant. There is a supply of tea and coffee in the reception and each room has a refrigerator for keeping your drinks and snacks cold. Each floor has a vending machine for drinks and a TV card if you want to watch a film in your room. There's a laundry room on the 2nd floor but I've never had a need to visit. The hotel also offers laundry services. The room includes razors, toothbrush and toothpaste, shower towel, and gown. There is also a shoe horn and clothes brush. There's no wardrobe but a small hanging area is provided with a couple of hangers for your jackets. The bathroom has a small bath which is quite nice especially in the winter. There is a very old Toto toilet shower but the seat isn't heated. The older nature of the hotel also shows through in the lift (elevator). The buttons are quite small and the door open/close button is only marked in Japanese Kanji. Due to the age of the hotel's design, it is not very accessible to disabled patrons. There are no ramps but quite a few steps to overcome to get to the front desk. The staff are very polite and efficient. I speak some Japanese and the staff definitely prefer Japanese but they can speak some English. The hotel will take receipt of deliveries and hold on to them. This came in handy when I ordered a few things online before I arrived at t
Great location near to the train station”
The rooms are small as expected from Japan. The hotel is near to Hamamatsucho station and its easy to locate. But the walking to the hotel required walking through a few flights of steps, thus its better to carry light luggage. The hotel is just next to the train tracks thus it can be quite noisy from the trains till late at night and early in the morning.
Nice hotel for business travellers”
I could only recommend this hotel for business light travelers. Tourists should stay away from it. There are no attractions at all. Far away from everything. If you have a lot of luggage then don't even dream about to walk a lot of stairs from Hamamatsucho station.
enjoyable stay”
I enjoyed the stay at the hotel, I found it slightly small(but nothing compared to hong kong...), but very organized and good for the price. The location is great for those who have the jr pass and want to see the city, all the major stops are on the same line... There is free internet which is a little on the slow side at certain times of the day.
Top place for sightseeing”
Apart from the no-early-check-in policy of this hotel, we actually had a blissful stay in it. Location is why we chose this hotel from the first place. We had a business meeting nearby, and later we found out that we actually can get everywhere from this hotel. There is Hamamatsucho and Daimon station for land transport and there is Hinode Pier for water transport, which we enjoyed both very much. We definitely will stay here again for our next trip.
A bit troubling for travelers with luggage”
Room cleanliness is superb. There is a convenient store and McDonald restaurant nearby. Quite near to several tourist attractions, such as Tokyo Tower, Zojoji Temple and Odaiba area. Unfortunately, we carried some big luggages for our business travel in Tokyo and had to go through a lot of ascending and descending steps from Hamamatsucho Station to hotel. Nevertheless, this hotel is highly recommended for business traveller with hand-carry baggages.
NOISY ROOM!!!!!”
I stayed in Chisun, Hamamtsucho with my husband and a three-year-old baby. The room was very very small but not so cheap. Location was extremely good. Breakfast was excellent and the staffs were good too. The room looked very old and paint peeled . All necessary amenities were there, but whole night i couldn't sleep because of the sound from the Tap or pipeline, exactly not sure what sound it is. This is the first experience for me in a hotel in Japan, I cant still believe it.
I was satisfied this hotel.”
I was really satisfied this hotel. Breakfast is good. Room is small but it is not uncomfortable. A woman can speak Korean so if you are Korean, you can ask comfortably. English skill is soso but it is no problem to communicate with each other. It is easy to go from this hotel to Haneda airport.
Good location but small rooms”
walking distance from jr hamamatsucho station/ monorail but only if you have light luggage as there are many steps although a taxi is inexpensive to hotel. good location for sightseeing or shopping. rooms were small but had most features except in room safe. vending machine for drinks on every floor. convenience shop just down the road.
Very near monorail and Haneda Airport”
Just got back from a three-day stay at this hotel. Company put me up, so it didn't come out of my pocket but for those of you paying your own way, it's not a bad value. Good points: Relatively large room for a business hotel. I've stayed in a bunch of them all over Japan. Room was really clean. Bad points: street / train noise. I had a third floor room and didn't appreciate the rumbling from outside. Also, it's about halfway between JR Hamamatsucho and Hinode Station on the Yurikamome, so take your pick for transport. It's probably closer to Hinode. Front desk service is polite, but it helps if you can speak a little Japanese.
