villa - spacious, nice design (award winning)outdoor shower and private pool are exceptional experience ! food - dining on the rock - the 10 course meal was amazing food - dining on the hill - you can see the sunset and the buffet (thai) was also amazing and good value (5 stars+ resort) butler - sort out booking for meals, buggy and departure nicely. resort pool -...

We wanted a quiet, smaller resort on the beach, but near a quieter town than Chaweng- this was, for us, the perfect choice. The staff really do bend over backwards to make your stay the best they can. The restaurant is amazing- the food and service really are excellent; we ate there a number of times. Wine is not cheap, but that’s the same all over Thailand, not just a...

Over all a very good place to stay at – You get what you pay for. This place is located close to a small private beach – We stayed in a Pool Villa (Two adults and two children 4 & 8 years of age) is nice, good space, good size of the rooms, clean – The big pool area at this hotel is really nice (Must be 25 meters long and 15 meter wide). The is no restaurant, but you ...

I've been at Akaryn two times. First one i booked from theirs web site and stayed 4 or 5 days. And second time when i was back from other island i booked from Agoda. So they exactly knew i'm repeat costumer. But they downgraded my room to more simple version of their great selection. Room table was messy cleaned, there fork and knife in wooden plate but few days ago th...

Amazing hotel, great friendly staff always cleaning but stop to smile and say hello. Very helpful at reception booked all our taxi's and free hotel taxi services to a few great beaches. Amazing pools but not the best beach for swimming however quiet. Only a short trip to other beaches and shopping. A real highlight and family friendly.

The staff is amazing, the rooms are awesome, the location is great, the breakfast is superb! I cant say one bad thing about our time. Supit is the manager and he knew our names and made sure we were taken care of no matter what the issue. Always was around and always had a smile on his face! The bellman were extremely kind and helpful and the front desk staff off t...

Visited baiyoke for my honeymoon in Koh Samui I would say the place was beyond our expectations had booked a 1bhk villa with private swimming pool. The service was outstanding and the staff was very very helpful at every stage of out stay for each and everything.

This hotel is nestled in a village whi is home to all the luxury hotels. We spend 4 nights in the Villa and it was surely onr of the best holidays we have had.The villa comes with a beautiful pool which is perfect to swim in at any time of the day.You have all the privacy you need. The rooms are excellent as it comes with awesome Bathrooms with a lovely tub,the daily bre...

We booked terrace suite but actually were upgraded to pool suite. The terrace suites are located in 1st and 2nd floors which are less luminous and have not nice views. On the contrary pool suites are in the 3rd floor and some of them have some sea view. We were upgraded because the hotel forgot to pick us up at airport since they seemed not to have read or special requ...

Upon check-in we were greeted with great smiles from the staff and obviously they were very prepared for our check-in. We enjoyed our stay... the restaurants Pak Thai was especially good for local food and the in-room dining is beyond imagination. We would love to stay again in this hotel the next time we visit Koh Samui.

The location was great for me because I didn't really spend much time at the resort. I did lots of tours, which can be booked directly through the hotel or at the travel agencies on the main roads. I booked mine through the outside travel agencies and was able to haggle my price. The beach here is not one where you can swim. There is low tide throughout the day, an...

i stayed here during songkran and absolutely loved it. we booked the cheapest room, just the standard bungalow, and was a bit worried after reading negative reviews, but found the bungalow to be very charming. the standard bungalows are located just off the resort right next to the restaurant but are situated directly on the beach. in fact, they had the best view out...

This place is lovely, but it's brand new. Because of this, you can get a great deal on it. It is really a luxury boutique hotel. Pro: - Everything is new & modern, spotlessly clean. - sunset at the infinity pool overlooking the water can't be beat - breakfast is delicious - I've seen great deals on it, way below what market rate will be when it's done Cons: - it's ...

As always a top hotel. It was our second stay and we were as well as at first very satisfied. It is not a classic hotel in the sense but you can take various things about the sister hotel. They are small villas and each one is very much for itself. These are also, as we have noticed, regularly renovated. It is very clean and the interior is generous. The service in th...

- Don't expect it is sth like hotel / resort, need separate for cleaning and changing towels everyday (which is not remarked here) - Too dangerous to drive to resort's carpark since the slope is super deep. Never try if you are taking van or non-4WD vehicle. You have to park downhill.

Tge lady at the pool bar did amazing food and drinks, sometimes you had to wait as she was so busy but she always managed your expectations with how long things would be, and it was always worth the wait. The reception staff and housekeepers were brill throughout including when my son was poorly and we needed extra bedding changes etc the tuk tuk service to and from t...

We are travelers on a budget and were looking to spend a few days on a Thai island to get a tan and relax. This hotel was the best find! It blew past all of our expectations and we were so content we extended our stay for another week. The bathroom in our bungalow could use some sprucing up, and the beach and pool is public so technically anyone can use it, but I'm not...

The location is good, only 15 mins from the airport by taxi. For the breakfast, you can choose from 3 types (American, Oriental, and one more, I don't remember...). Overall, my family was satisfied. The main transportation is mainly taxi when accessing to downtown, which is costly, about 300-500THB.

There were 9persons in my family. The manager was so kind and helpful whenever we need. The staff was also thoughful to us. We had never experienced any inconvenience while we were staying there. what a wonderful holidays! Thank you for everything.

We had a great experience at Samui Sunset. From the welcome and excellent customer service from Matthew (the GM) and the staff, it was phenomenal. The owners of the unit are abroad and they communicated with us continuously. They offered to send a chef over for breakfast, they asked if we needed pickup from the airport, and they offered additional services if we needed...
Cheap places to stay in Choengmon

I booked one bed in the dorm room for a bit over $10, ended up being the only person in that room! The entire place is CLEAN, modern, and well-maintained. Staff are super friendly! Tip: stay on the west side, it's hot before you turn on the AC, but much quieter than the east side which is by the street. There isn't much to eat nearby, but across the street you can find...

This hostel is awesome! They use electronic tokens to separate the common area to the sleeping areas. So you feel really safe. Everything looks modern and new. Dorms: Clean and modern. Every bed has its own TV and at the reception you can borrow headphones for free (I didn't use this). There are several dividing walls in the dorms, so you have a lot of privac...

This hostel is pretty much brand new, I was the only one their during my stay. It’s right near Choeng Mon beach and a small street with many restaurants and a 7-11 and such. It’s not a social hostel but it’s great if you just want to relax for a while. I can recommend staying here, I enjoyed my stay.

A spacious room with a nice view and bathroom with bathtube! There was no room service during our stay. Most of the time there was nobody at the reception to answer questions, just at the check in and check out. Very remote from the most attractions, just big buddha is in walking distance.

It’s a great location if you need to catch the ferry the next day, found a few nice places to eat around there too. Unfortunately they started doing some work outside our room quite early which was annoying. The only bad thing was our back window to the room wouldn’t shut properly. But would definitely recommend to anyone. Big spacious room and bathroom.

A fantastic place to stay, (best place we stayed at in Thailand). Lovely cosy bungalows with your own balcony & all amenities required, (fan, AC, fridge, safe, toiletries, towels, beach towels, hot shower), local supermarket just around the corner & local town a 10 minute walk away. Accomodation, massages, food and drink is all very reasonably priced, (fabulous cocktai...

I loved the room - it was spacious with a balcony and a view of the sea. Unbeatable for that price! There is a nice swimming pool too. And the staff is really friendly. It's a little bit remote from the hustle and bustle of other places on the island, which I personally really liked.

This is not a 3 star hotel the description is false. We had a room facing the pool top floor the sea view is through the filthy window in the bathroom which has no blinds so the neighbors can see you. The room was a sweat box and the air con was useless and noisy which kept us awake The shower does not work at the pool neither does the jacuzzi Booked for 2 nights c...

Stayed here two nights and it was ideal! Room was perfect, lovely view and very clean! Location was also perfect, near loads of restaurants and the beach is walking distance but we did hire a moped just because we're lazy! Ha! Pillows were slightly too high but that's me being really picky!

Booked here cause 10 mins drive to big buddha but is resi n isolated area driving in small n jungle road.No ones was at reception when arrived, mother ask to call n can't speak english, Not everbody can understand thai n have line right? Next...... came back from chewang at 11pm the whole place is totally dark, don know what going on n no ones to ask too, lucky I got ...

This is a nice little hotel and the manageress is absolutely lovely, always happy. there is a motor bike rental shop about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there is an absolutely beautiful temple about 10 minutes walk or 2 minutes bike ride away. staf is very kind with smile. not so far to local restraint and seven-eleven, walking about 10min. laundry service is budget, 50thb/kg with iron. taxi is to fisherman's village and choengmon, to chaweng. i went to local festival of nearly temple, it's very cute. can walk to choengmon beach for 20 min with natural landscape, dogs running and birds singing.

Please read this review before booking this accommodation! This is not a hotel!! It is actually called "Thong Son Villas” according to the tiny sign at the front. The Park Samui was an excellent choice for our three week holiday. Staying in a spacious and luxurious apartment was much better than staying in a hotel room. The Villa was clean when we arrived, but we were informed later that cleaners come only every 3-4 days, so it was hard to keep the villa clean. Second stay at Imperial Boathouse. Great staff everywhere. Excellent breakfast with multiple Thai options in addition to standard brekkie fare. The rice barge room is a must. Large and private. Only drawback is two-device only Internet policy. Choengmon Beach remains our favourite part of Koh Samui - quiet, but with enough nearby conveniences.

4 bedroom villa with a beautiful infinity pool. Clean and modern. Staff is very nice and helpful. Free shuttle bus transfer from airport. Very near airport and Central Festival. Only 15 minutes by car. But one room is in the basement with another key not inconvenience.

Good room, very big, the bed is hard, had a small mouse in the room when I checked in but it ran away, the owner was very late, tried calling her but her number was not correct or switched off, wasted 1.5 hour of my time waiting for her and Agoda to resolve the problem as her phone was switched off, after check in everything was ok, wouldn't recommend as its far away u...
