Chuanfanshih hotels & places to stay

When we first arrived at the hotel, we were surprised by the plain look of the lobby. But in fact the rooms are much more luxurious inside, not to mention the superb skylight bathroom : you take a "l'occitane" perfumed bath while looking at the sea and the stars shining above the glass ceiling. Just excellent ! The personal is also very obliged, you have a problem ? Ask them an they will try to find a solution for you, free of charge if possible. We didn't liked the serving breakfast the first day so we asked for a food change, brought in our room free of charge. We even asked for an extra fruit plate and coffee to be brought too, also for free. They also include a free private shuttle car to bring or fetch you where and when you want as long as it is in the neighborhood. Our stay at Jingguang hotel was a delight and I will go there again without any hesitation.

I have been to Kenting four times during the past year. Canan B&B is the best one I have ever stayed in. The location, the price, the service, the room, the parking conveniences, the staff, and the breakfast are all excellent. I like taking landscape photography in Kenting National Park, that was why I visited Kenting frequently during the past year. I surely will re-stay in Canan B&B again next time!!

i have plan a graduation trip to thailand with my friends and we booked this hostel for 2night. the hostel room price is reasonable ,just per night. when compared to other hostel or hotel, b&b's price is lowest. the location of b&b is near to the mtr station and is located in a quiet and peaceful area. when we arrived the hostel, the staff is so nice to guide us to go up to the room and answer our enquiries enthusiastically. the room is so clean and tidy, but the light is quite dark. so, if they can improve the light in the room, that's perfect. and, the washroom is clean and tidy, the floor is not wet at all. in a nutshell, we are all satified with this hostel and will recommend to our friends when they travel to thailand.

Our stay was fabulous, we got the VIP room on the highest floor (4th floor) which offered an unforgettable unobstructed view of the ocean and the chuanfanshih rock. The room was clean and satisfactory, and the owner was friendly and accommodating. There is also a bike/scooter rental that offers reasonable rates directly in front of the hotel, which makes it very convenient especially during the Spring Scream music festival period when it was very crowded in Kenting. Location is also good as it is a 10 min ride to either the festival location or to Kenting town. Ideal for travelers who prefer a quieter spot away from the hustle and bustle of the main town stretch and also for perfect view of the ocean. There is also a 7-11 and breakfast shop nearby. Only thing to note is that there is no lift, so it can be a hassle lugging the luggage up to the high floors. Breakfast is also a simple affair of sandwich and milk tea everyday. Would definitely consider this hotel again when I go back to Kenting. Thank you for the hospitality and pleasant experience! :]

I will try to write my review in English so that international traveler can also understand At Funson i get a nice spring bed, pillow, superb great bathroom that maybe you can get only on four or five star hotel, nice breakfast that sent to your bathroom. Professional yet homely and the same time, it didn't make your wallet broke Honestly for what they provide they can charge more, but they didn't. If you come to Taiwan, Kending, you should come here, you will never regret it

It’s a lovely little hotel just 50 meters from the sea, with the view to the one of Taiwan attractions (Sail or Chuanfan rock), and only 300 meters from a cozy sandy beach. The hotel is made so unusual that even among the other ones stands out immediately. Tourists, who are brought to the promenade to take pictures this " iconic Rock ", takes the picture of this hotel not even less. All the rooms are different. Our room was with a four-poster bed and a comfortable sofa -round , the in the next room has an armchair hooked from the ceiling, and a pebble floor in hall. All rooms have large balconies with deck chairs and a beautiful view to the sea. The staff is extremely kind and courteous , though English at all. They were so kind and took us to the town first night free of charge. There is wonderful restaurant "612" nearby, delight us with a couple of evenings for its cuisine . It should be taken into account that the hotel is located 5 km from the center of Kenting . There are buses to it but we prefer to rent a car as there are many attractions around the south coast. Fortunately our European driving license was OK, and with the car we saw everything we wanted. In brief - our best advice for this hotel especially if you plan to rent a car or moto .

We rented the 2BR villa and it was a great value for the price. Large space and rooms, great bathtub and overall we really liked the location. It's only a 7 min walk to Chuanfanshi beach which is one of the quieter beaches. Also there's a great view of Sail Rock and we ate dinner once in the plaza in front of the rock. None of the rooms have an ocean view though there are a lot of balconies with the 2 BR villa. There are not a lot of restaurants in the area but the 7-Eleven is super convenient. We found a great restaurant just behind the villa a few blocks and did takeaway from there every night. We will def. stay again.

I asked for another room. It is off-season now, so many rooms were empty. Another room, at 4th floor, was really lovely decorated, but wi-fi was almost dead there. So I again asked for another room, cause wi-fi is very important for me. Finally I paid some extra money and have got a family room, which was excellent, it has a window, a huge bed, a big TV, and wi-fi. All the rooms have really nice design, modern, light (besides the room on the ground floor). The owner speaks basic English but she is really helpful and doing her best to please. She even did my laundry for free. She can help with renting a scooter, give a map. For the breakfast there was a very fresh sandwich, coffee, juice, tea. I was also offered other food but I liked the sandwich. The hotel is quite far from Kenting, you need a scooter to go around.

This is by far one of my best hotel experience. Located directly across one of kenting popular beach. Easily located via taxi. We booked the room with a private pool and the view is amazing. Toilet is huge and they even provide us with bags so that we can deposit our items while playing water sports. They have high tea provided for all guest and the breakfast served is amazing too. Highly recommended.

1. Location : Here is in a good location to go to a tourist spot. And there is a convenience store and scooter shop nearby. 2. Hotel service : Full of sinerity and delicious breakfast is prepared every morning. During breakfast, I could start the morning of the trip with beautiful chuanfan rock scenery and sweet music. Most of all, I was happy during my stay at the hotel because of the sensual interior. 3. Best staff : Friendly host and staff help me a variety of things to make it easier to me to travel. Thanks to them, I only bring good memories in kenting.

Chaunfan Rock is a much nicer choice for a stay than Kenting itself. It's small, scenic and quiet. You're right on the waterfront and In 10 minutes you can stroll into the forested hills. The hotel is small with super sweet staff. The room is spacious and newly decorated. The hotel is a block along a nice lane from the beach. Breakfast is ordered the night before and brought in: mostly tea/coffee and hamburgers, although my partner was able to get just egg alone.

You get your personal pool, personal hot tub, a stocked fridge, and the entire place to yourself. The beach is right across the street. The owners of the villa also pick you up from Kenting and drop you back off if you need it, great service. They also arranged for our scooter rental, which is highly recommended for getting around the area. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

I got this hotel because of its quite reasonable price. English was the problem I encountered. It was difficult to communicate with hotel people, even though they are friendly and nice. Room was great and I have no problem with it. However, the hotel location was inconvenient to me. It is 2 or 3 km from Kenting downtown and my colleagues and I had to walk a long mile or call taxi every time I went out.

The place is very cozy. Owner is very helpful and although she does not speak English, she does her best to communicate (she helped us with renting a bike and finding the best bus route). The rooms are super nice and clean and the location is great. It is 10 min away from the main street, which is really nice if you want to spend a couple of days in a relaxing atmosphere. Just in front the hotel there is a nice beach where it is possible to sun bath and swim. I highly recommend Hana B&B!

We stayed in the second floor quadruple room. The staff welcomed us with afternoon tea and delicious house made cake upon arrival. The room itself was so spacious and bright with high ceiling and a fun ball shaped swing hanging from the ceiling. The room was more than twice the size of a room in similar priced hotel with partial view of the beach. The bathroom was large with a separate shower, bathtub, toilet and sink. There was a separate toilet room and sink outside the bathroom. It's a definite plus having 2 separate toilets when traveling with teens. There were plenty of fresh towels and French toiletries and the 2 king sized beds were very comfortable. The place was very clean, new and nicely designed. It was so relaxing sitting on the chairs on the big patio just enjoying the ocean breeze. It was the end of March so we actually didn't turn on the AC to enjoy the wonderful cross breeze from the patio and windows. There's a nice stretch of beach just an easy 2 minutes walk across the street. The place is about a 5 minutes drive south of the busy "old street" where one can find lots of restaurants, shops and games at night. There's also a convenient 7Eleven about 3 minutes walk south of the Inn. Breakfast on the first morning was a beautiful setting of eastern food and on the following morning was western. Unfortunately it was a little fancy for my teenager but he did enjoy parts of each meal before heading off to the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it and return on our next visit. It really is so much nicer than our usual stay at Caesar's Hotel or Chateau.

Location of the hotel was a little far off from the main street, but situated near the chuanfan shi. We had to flag a cab from the kending main street to the hostel and it wasnt easy to get one as most of the cabs were already pre-booked by travellers. Love the balcony and design of the room! Enjoyed breakfast at the balcony and owner agreed to an extension of our check out time. Owner also introduced us to a electric bike rental stall and we managed to get a really good deal - much better than from the shop along the main street. Would definitely come back here again!

The small hotel is set off a tasteful part the main road, not far from the attractive coast line. It's a mile or 2 away from Kenting's trendy shops and some of Kenting's beautiful countryside scenery is easily accessible from there too. The hotel was small and decorated simply, but clean and restful. I didn't meet any English-speaking staff for the night I stayed there, but they were willing and helpful to my needs as a cyclist. They didn't have their own eating quarters but a tasty breakfast was provided for me to eat in my room.

Blue Sea Inn is very nice. I had very comfortable sleep for 2 nights; I booked 2 dobles. Location is convenient 10 minutes by car from most attractions in Kenting. No breakfast but there is a McDonald close by. The room and beddings were very clean and spotless.... the bathroom too. Counter-staff were helpful and polite and checking-in was effortless and timely. However, they didn't speak much English, non-Mandarin speakers might need some effort to communicate. No ocean view and not Mountain View but the hotel is just a block from a beautiful beach.

The location was incredible; right behind Sail Rock in Kenting! However, finding it was a bit confusing, only because every building around this B&B was another B&B! I don't know know what the 2nd "B" tastes like bc I didn't eat breakfast the next morning. I also split the rate with another traveler so that's why I rated the price 5 stars. The room was decent sized with a queen bed. There were 2 chairs and a side table. There was also a TV stand, but I don't remember if there was a TV or not. The bathroom was a good size and the water was hot! Overall, for less than $40, you will be in an excellent location (Sail Rock) and only a few minutes scooter ride to Kenting Street night market! I would definitely recommend this place to you!
