Me and my friend were very impressed with their amiable treatment and service. They are very thoughtful to arrange shuttle van for us to go CingJing farm, besides that, they've also provided the welcome drinks & snacks for us while we were waiting for room checked in. It is worth mentioning that the foods are very delicious. Especially 陈小姐, we cannot begin to find the words to say thank you for your hospitality. Strongly recommend this resort.

Friendly reception, helped to arrange hire to Taichung. Reception will help to carry luggages to and from rooms. Need to climb staircases to room, challenging for elderly. Hot and cold water available outside room. Very good breakfast, extensive spread of traditional and english breakfast. Loved the yummy raddish cakes and yogurt milk. Free afternoon tea provided - extensive spread with biscuits from the old English manor, instant noodles, danish bread etc.. Nice rooms except pillows are too soft.

The design of the place is unique. For those who like boutique hotel with design, this place will be a great choice that is valued for money. The only catch is be ready to carry your luggage up as the place doesn't have elevator. Of course, you may ask the staff to help, they are very helpful and certainly well-trained for carrying luggage :D

Friendly and helpful staff. Helped to carry the luggage up & down the flights of stairs. Good breakfast spread & presentation. Need to change the bread toasters though. Other than that, had a wonderful stay. : )

Very zen place”
Hotel is located nearby some eateries shop, close to the convenience store. Place was very zen and peaceful. We book a room for 4 with the double storey room. Some feedback is that the bed on the 1st floor was abit old. And they were quite particular on the check in time to be around 330pm. Apart from that, it was quite a nice place to stay. :)

Beautiful hotel with great views”
The hotel is high up in the mountains with a great view. It has a very rustic air that makes you feel quite at home. The only real problem I have with it is all the stairs. There’s 2 flight just to get to reception, and numerous more to get to your rooms, depending on which building and floor you stay. The staff are very helpful though, and will help with your luggage, but you have to go down to get them first. I would not recommend it to people with mobility issues. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful hotel and I highly recommend it. It is near the Nantou bus station, the Swiss garden and mist plaza. They provide free shuttle service to Green Green Grassland in the morning at 8.50am. They also provide free breakfast, tea and supper, so it is very worth the value paid.

Old but with good atmosphere”
Stayed here for 2 nights. Staff were helpful and are always around to help. However, the room was a little old and the toilet may need some renovation. Dinner served was a little pricey but delicious.

This building is old. Wooden floor, wooden wall, everything made of wood. If you like wood then you like this property. I don't like wood that much as I always imagine insects like to hide behind the wooden wall. Total of 3 buildings built by the hillside. Lots of stairs. The ground floor is for parking. There are 20+ uneven old wooden stairs that lead to the main entrance. We struggled to carry our 2 big luggage up. Staff are courteous and helpful. WiFi is super slow. I couldn't sign in with my laptop as we were not at the main building. They provide breakfast, good variety. Tea time and after dinner snack also provided. They also offer dinner menu. As for me, I would not choose this property again.

They provide free supper in the night and are generous with snack and beverage varieties. Staff were friendly n greeted us each time they met us. We asked for lower level room due to an elderly traveller and they obliged.

Breakfast average and also come with free afternoon. Tea and supper. A large carte dinner is 4* . Con: steepy slope to hotel and uneven steps to hotel entrance.

Great location and nice staff”
The restaurant in this hotel serves great dinner, I ordered the chicken and pig trotter, these were so delicious. The restaurant provided 12% discount for the hotel guests, very thoughtful. The location of this hotel is excellent, it is closed to the Ching Ching Farm and other attraction where could be there on foot. Staffs are nice and friendly.

Stayed for 2 nights. The location is near a main bus stop and opposite the Swiss Garden and 10 min walk from Starbucks, Mos Burger and convenience shop. But the walk is a steep 150m slope, not too easy with luggage. This is a quaint little place that feels very cosy. But rooms on the upper floors are by steep stairs. Staff can help with the luggage :) Our room was on the (top) 4th floor and the sloping roof was a challenge for room design, so there was a risk of hitting your head at some parts. The rooms look rather tired and our sheets had stains, carpet was old. Sound insulation is quite bad. But view was great and they serve complimentary afternoon tea (drinks and biscuits and small snacks) and supper (drinks and biscuits and cup noodles). The breakfast was pretty good and the dinner (german pork knuckle) was good too. Staff were friendly. Jocelyn gave pretty good info and tips about our travel as we did not really plan where to visit around the area.

Nice Place, but the heater only available on second floor. Breakfast is decent and nice place to stay. Can be improved if there's heater or warmer at lower floor. However do note no lift available, large luggage users do take note , lots of hauling of luggage :)
