Beautiful hotel”
This hotel was simply beautiful. Staff was extremely helpful. This place is really difficult to get to without a private car. The room was romantic and really memorable with music all over. Service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel or the Old England hotel.

A place make you keep shooting photos”
Very nice garden that serves delicious outdoor breakfast. Beautiful stone construction. Nice and very clean room. The in room audio system didn't meet our expectations but the one in the dinning room is wonderful. The complementary afternoon tea and evening wine/spirit tasting is nice.

Overcharging compared to services & facilities”
There are more cons than pro here, the only pro is only given to specific staff, a female men who help us finding a good restaurant and fixing the heater in the room. The cons and needs big improvements are as follows: 1. the room and facilities are very old and need to renovate, e.g. bath room with cracking title of bathtub and cracking sink that look horrible when thinking of the price they charged equivalent to 5-6 stars hotel rate. 2. all of the staffs cannot communicate in English at all and with no service mind (most female staffs). For example, we informed that the room was not heated as the heater is not working and female staff answered us that because the heater is old without any offering of heater or any way to fix it, even the weather we stay was around 1 Celsius at night, luckily the male staff took charge and offer to fix it. 3. Wifi is not working at all for the room we stayed, A122. 4. Breakfast is not variety and more of mandatory set with not much option.

Price is too high with low services/poor facility”
Schedule for shuttle bus is changed in the last minute when there was a fix schedule and reason they cancelled the shuttle bus because of it is a weekend. This excuse is very bad as they are in this hospitality business and no one is able to communicate in English (luckily one of my friend could speak a bit of Chinese). They do not change the bed sheets for our room too for the next day and the wall title of bathtub and sink are cracking! Heater is in a poor conditions and when it was not working, excuses from staff is because it is old without offering any solution when the weather get down to 1 Celsius, also the common area, dinning places are very cold like there was no heater at all. Over pricing for facilities and services, not recommend any one to stay here.

Worth every cent.”
Firstly, Qing Jing is a mountainous area in the Nantou County of Taiwan, close to the central mountain range. It's already not easy to get to, so during our visit there, my wife and I got off at the visitor centre thinking that the hotel was in walking distance. To our horror it was not.. however, when we called the hotel to ask for directions, we were so relieved to find that they had a shop/counter at the recreation area where there was food and a place to rest while they arranged for transport to pick us up to the hotel. When at the hotel, we realised that it was quite inaccessible by foot, but again to our surprise they provided transport to places of interest at the vicinity like the Green Green Grassland for example. The hotel staff also enquired about our meal arrangements so that they could arrange transport for us. The staff were very friendly, polite and very passionate about making our stay as comfortable and hassle-free as possible. After we were showed our rooms, we were delighted to see the condition and ambience of the room. It was an old victorian style room, with furnishings and linens to match. The balcony was fitted with a coffee table and chairs to enjoy the fresh cold air (yes cold air even during summer). At night we didn't even have to on the air-con and just allowed the cold night air into the room. There were only a few units at this Music Villa and therefore the night was really peaceful and quiet. Our last surprise came when the counter staff called to ask if we would like to head to the main hall for complimentary drinks and tarts. We didn't want to go out so we had the staff deliver the drinks to our room. The drinks were awesome... Breakfast the next morning was a simple fusion style breakfast (congee with condiments), and also a western style sandwich. Overall, this was the most awesome hotel in our Taiwan honeymoon trip.

Nice & Clean Villa. ”
We stayed in Cingjing Music Villa for 2 nights, we love everything there except the location is not so convenient, they do provide sending/pick up service few times a day though. The room that we stayed is spacious with one big bed on the lower floor and two single beds in the upper floor. The breakfast has not much variety but is decent enough for us. The sandwhich that they prepared for us is nice. At night there would have free "wine tasting" session where you can sit down to have a sip and enjoy the music. The staffs there are friendly too. During our 1st night stay, we had our dinner at Cingjing Hanging Garden which is same group as Music Villa. Unfortunately the recommended dish - crispy pork knuckle that I had ordered is not up to my liking, the skin is not crispy and the taste is quite weird.

Relaxing B&B”
Shangrila Music Villa has only a few rooms available and no public restaurant itself, which make this B&B especially private and warm. Staffs are so kind and caring, there are Tea (delicious England style)included in the afternoon, and a wine & music sharing event at night. We live there for 2 days, the staffs can recall our taste preferences, and offer different food option for us. What's More, there are over 500 music CDs to choose from. We can borrow them to our room, together with the antique room decorations, we enjoy fairy tale like experience!

a romantic stay”
There is a charming vibe throughout the hotel, from the minute you enter the gardens and into your rooms. The staff are very friendly. they helped arrange transport, food services and recommended places of interests. They even gave us some pastries when we arrived after lunch and were hungry. They serve a pretty breakfast set. They also have snacks at night and free drinks at the lounge area. There is no kitchen though, so no real restaurant in the villa. You have to travel out for lunch/dinner. You'll also get a few souvenirs in the room. There is music streaming throughout the lounge area and you can play it in your room too. It is afterall a music villa. The mountainous view is amazing and you can take a stroll around the area. There are some sight seeing places around the area. but everywhere else is pretty far away. There isn't much food options nearby. Best to stay in the area for only about 3D2N. we had a lovely and memorable time.

It's unique.”
This misu is far from the centre of the scenic spots. Yet, it is very special. We liked the souvenirs from the misu, including macroons and a stationery set. Our kids stayed upstairs and the room is spacious. We had to take the van provided by the misu to the Hanging Garden to enjoy our dinner. The dishes were so delicious and we liked the salad bar too. After dinner, they invited us to enjoy music at the dining area of the Music Villa but we didn't join it. Later, they sent us some drinks in our room which was so considerate.

Simply Fantansic”
The hotel was simply beautiful and service was top-notch. Although the hotel was located quite far away from the visitor center, they have transport going out at regular timings. Service was warm and excellent, Room was beautifully decorated and clean and the view from the balcony was great. Heater in the room, great music CD collection and the breakfast was delicious. Wifi was strong and fast. They do not serve dinner though and they will send you to their sister hotel for dinner should you need it. We just grab some food from the 7-11 before checking in as we had an late lunch at the Old England. One of the best hotel stay I had.

Lovely thematic stay with wonderful services ”
We stayed in one of the two-storey accommodation for one night at cingjing. While the road up to the villa seems dark and winding at night, it doesn’t seem to be an issue for the skilled driver who is used to traveling up the mountain. (Self-drive could however be dangerous at night!) The accommodation looks lovely during day and night, and is clean, well kept and complete with all the essentials that you would expect in a five star stay. There is a complimentary drink upon arrival and the staff are very attentive to your needs. Showers in accommodation tend to be something I look out for, and the flow and temperature of water is good in this one. The only downside is that there is no lift in this accommodation, so elderly guests might find it hard to walk up the stairs or stay on the upper floors. Other than this, I would definitely recommend this place for a value for money and quality stay!

The location is not convenient but you can request them to pick you up from the tourist information centre etc. Likewise when you want to leave the premise, can arrange for car transfer too. Only 2 dinner option, which I would recommend giving Old England a try although it's quite expensive. That place is much nicer than Music Villa, worth a visit for a romantic date night. Hotel staff are very polite and helpful. They will give you a room tour, ask them to demo how to make your own coffee in your room! The room itself is huge with comfy bedsss... But the toilet is old, small and wet. The only down side of my stay. They free have "wine tasting" session at night where you can sip your wine and enjoy some music at the common area. Breakfast also not bad.

Super 5 Stars Hostel”
Lovely hostel with kind and lvoely staff! The hostel holds a special free wine-tasting event for every guest living there at every night with romantic n relaxing musics to share their journey with friends. If you want to drink at your room, they will help to distribute your drinks accordingly, so lovely and warm service. Apart from their service, the most impressive thing for my friends is its castle-style appearance, you will find yourself indeed with difference feelings there. Highly recommend this special hostel to all of you guys!!

We loved the place as a great getaway for family and busy city. The staff are very cheerful and helpful in attending to our needs. The overall exterior and interior deco are very European styled and we liked the service of choosing our own selection of Music CDs to be placed in our rooms.
