"The whole place was simply picturesque and I'm so glad that I got to stay here! Getting to the hotel wasn't an issue although some guests have commented it was out of the way. The reality is, Cingjing isn't a mammoth area and everything is accessible enough. Upon arrival, it felt like coming home. There was always a pretty sight to be had, from arriving to a view, breakfast with a view, walking the premises with nicely manicured Japanese garden. Our driver was so smitten by the scenery and building facade that he gave up his driver's hostel to check into the same homestay as us. Speaks volumes! Other room details include coffee machine, premium tea, candies, DVD player (movie titles available at front desk), good toiletries. So really, what's not to like?"

"Very nice place for quiet retreat. We like to be away from crowded hotel so this place gave us the feel of retreat. There is a steep sloping road that goes up to the hotel to/from the main road, and a stairway with gentle steps is provided for patrons to walk. Walking this slope is beautiful, you get to smell the fresh air with smell from the trees and fauna, the view is wonderful too, the lake could be seen beyond. The only setback is the distance to places of attraction. A short trip by taxi cost a fix fare of NT300. But we discover the use of public bus (Nantou bus) at designated bus stop. One nearby this hotel. They have a fix timing so if your time is right try using it. Cost only NT20-30 per pax depending where you alight. If you missed the schedule, waiting time could be between half hour to 1 hour to the next timing. Go online to see the bus schedule. Alternative choice is to walk. Took us 40mins to walk from Swiss garden to hotel and we enjoyed the exercise."

"With the breath-taking view capturing the beautiful Cingjing mountains and grasslands, this resort has the capacity to hit bigger heights than it already is. Located minutes away from the main attraction of Cingjing Grasslands farm, this is an ideal resort to be staying. The negative aspect would definitely be transportation for choosing this resort. It is inconvenient to engage transport and definitely dangerous to be walking in and out of the resort. Cleanliness of the hotel can be improved further in terms of bugs. The rooms are well cleaned and maintained. However, the main attraction of the room is the balcony serving up a sumptuous view of Cingjing. The balcony is infested by bugs throughout the night upon sunset. It is absolutely impossible for guests to enjoy the balcony if you are afraid of the different species of bugs on offer. I would suggest minimizing the bugs by installing electric bug killer equipments to improve the rooms."

"We bought the cingjing fun pass from Taichung and the bus brings us all the way to cingjing. From the drop off location, it was just a mere 5mins walk to hotel. The place is very cozy and surrounded by flora and fauna. You enjoy views of clouds everyday from your room. The staff are very friendly and helpful in attending to your queries. There is a rather steep slope up to hotel so may not be suitable for elderly."

"The room is very clean and spacious. However, it is located upstairs without elevator. We arrived earlier than check-in time and store our luggage at the counter. When we arrived back to the hotel, our luggage was already kept in the room. Great service. The hotel is located quite a distance from the CingJing Farm. But within 3 minutes walking distance to the bus station where you can hop on buses to the CingJing Farm. The time when we stay here is the Taiwanese long holidays break. This is among some of the cheaper accommodation that we can found. P.s: This hotel got limited time for hot shower usage. Be noted to take bath within the time."

They do have shuttle service upon arrival, which you will need to request from them. Or use OK Bus which will drop you at the door of the villa. Receptionist is able to arrange star gazing & sun rise tour on your behalf, also conducted by OK Bus."
