Pros : 1) Provide FREE Shuttle Service To attraction in Cingjing. 2) FREE DVD rental , there were various of Movies could be borrowed !! 3) Breakfast provided 4) Beautiful , breathtaking view from balcony 5) Hotel / resort was super comfortable 6) The guy receptionist had the BEST attitude and BEST customer service ever!!!! Super friendly and willing to explain to you no matter what you ask him. Thumbs up for him!! He did an excellent job👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 7) Play with cute cats in the morning 8) 7 Eleven , Restaurants , Food just nearby / 2 -3 minutes walk. Cons : NOTHING 😁👍🏻

Overall good. However, there is no lift to the room so we had to carry our luggage up the slope and stairs. Star Villa is not very conveniently located but most hotels in Cingjing require some walking to the various attractions. The owner was very nice to fetch us up to the farm, however we had to walk thirty minutes back to the hotel ourselves. The family room we booked was clean and spacious. We could look at the stars outside from our balcony. Breakfast was simple but our family enjoyed it. Not a lot of variety but still good.

We arrived by bus and asked for a pick-up at the train station. Te reception staff was very quick by responding to our mail and organised everything. We had a room in building A, just above the reception. As the hotel was almost fully booked, there was some noise from he outside and the resturant we could hear. From the room although we had a great view, especially in the morning. It is really orth to wake up early. We had one main contact person from the restaurant, which was probably then one who could speak the best english. She was very lovely and helpful. She organized the shuttle for the cingjing farm and wrote a day plan in english for us, just in case we would get lost or did not know what to do. In the evening we ate at the restaurant at ming ging farm, which provides set menu in a more western style. It was ok to eat there, as we did not have our own car. The price from 380 NT up was ok. If there are many hotel guests they offer a buffet which was really good.

My husband , my 11 year old daughter and I took the nantou bus from Puli and arrived at Cingjing on a cold and freezing afternoon as it was raining heavily too. The temperature was at 14 celsius. Luckily, the guesthouse was just a 6 minutes walk from the bus stop which was opposite a fruit stall by the side of the road.We had earlier got the exact direction from the staff at the guesthouse. we fell in love with the place the moment we saw it as it was elevated and provided us with a magnificent view of the mountains and valleys. It is actually next to Qingjing Veterans farm.The guesthouse comprises of many different rooms sizes to suit your family requirements and each is self contained with boiling and cool water dispenser in each room. As it was cold, we really welcomed the electric mattress which can be heated up to your desired temperature.The whole guesthouse is well maintained and gives a very cosy feeling as they are basically log cabins.The staff at the cafe were warm as even gave my husband a local remedy to settle his queasy stomach.It is 10 minutes walk from the Swiss gardens but rather inconvenient if you want to go to the Green Green Grass. to get there you would need to get the bus schedule to get there or you can get the staff to help book a cab.the bus fare is TW12 per person and TW 6 per child. Cingjing is a lovely place and Energy Home Guest House is one of the main reason why we will always have lovely memories of Cingjing.

The whole place was simply picturesque and I'm so glad that I got to stay here! Getting to the hotel wasn't an issue although some guests have commented it was out of the way. The reality is, Cingjing isn't a mammoth area and everything is accessible enough. Upon arrival, it felt like coming home. There was always a pretty sight to be had, from arriving to a view, breakfast with a view, walking the premises with nicely manicured Japanese garden. Our driver was so smitten by the scenery and building facade that he gave up his driver's hostel to check into the same homestay as us. Speaks volumes! Other room details include coffee machine, premium tea, candies, DVD player (movie titles available at front desk), good toiletries. So really, what's not to like?

This place is one of the must-visit for tourists. Why? The structures of the Hotel is beautifully designed with a theme of Old England, which of course explain the name of the Hotel, and the Hotel is located on the edge of a cliff, which oversees mountain ridges (awesome awesome view!). Upon checking in the hotel, the staff will show you around your room and explains to you how every device in your room works. We stayed in an ExecQueen Room and it comes with an excellent sounds system which really adds to the romantic or old England 'feel' of the room! The room comes with a conplementary white wine too which you and your partner can have a romantic drink before turning in. The Hotel have an excellent course-meal which is not expensive that you may wish to opt for too! The Hotel is conveniently located near Cingjing Farm too, about 5mins drive away. I highly recommend this place if you are going to Cingjing as a couple!

The location of Yunwu is quite good. You can take Nantou Bus and get off at Cingjing Guoxiao. Yunwu is just 5 minutes away from that bus stop. There is also a recreational center near Yunwu where you can find a 7-11 shop. My kids were very excited when we moved in a nicely-decorated Deluxe Family unit. They liked to climb upstairs to the loft. There was also a balcony with great mountain views. The owners were very friendly. They provided free breakfast and dinner during weekdays. The foods were very delicious and special. The friendly owner even offered to drive us to Cingjing Farm.

I seldom leave comment about a hotel but this hotel definitely deserve my sincere compliment. They provide 5 stars customer service including pick up service (upon request) to and from the tourist attraction such as cingjing and little swiss garden. This definitely ease our trip as we travelled to cingjing by bus. Thousand thanks to the short hair lady in the front desk who also fetched us to and from the tourist attractions for several times. You are the best hotel personnel that we ever met in Taiwan. The hotel is about 1km from little swiss garden and you may request the hotel to send you to cingjing farm as your first stop n then walk all the way down to little swiss garden (carton king in between) and request the hotel to pick u up from little swiss garden or walk bac to hotel by your own. Their steamboat is best in the town. Sincere portion with quality coupled with nice soup and sauces. Lastly, their rooms have amazing mountain views as well. You must stay here to enjoy fullest in cingjing. To highlight, the room is actually alot nicer as compared to the picture in agoda. Highly recommend this hotel.

Booked a quadruple sunrise room for 3 person with breathtaking view of the mountain. Everything include the wall is made of wood. There’s even a common fridge and place to refill your drinking water outside the room. Greeted by friendly receptionist, a handsome young man who explained all the facilities available. 24 hours pantry with free drink. Breakfast was ok. For dinner, just walk down the road and there’s a convenient store and few diners. They offered to send us to Cingjing farm which is around 10mins ride away for NTD300 (3 pax with luggage). The downside, not enough plug points. Will definitely go back again.

With the breath-taking view capturing the beautiful Cingjing mountains and grasslands, this resort has the capacity to hit bigger heights than it already is. Located minutes away from the main attraction of Cingjing Grasslands farm, this is an ideal resort to be staying. The negative aspect would definitely be transportation for choosing this resort. It is inconvenient to engage transport and definitely dangerous to be walking in and out of the resort. Cleanliness of the hotel can be improved further in terms of bugs. The rooms are well cleaned and maintained. However, the main attraction of the room is the balcony serving up a sumptuous view of Cingjing. The balcony is infested by bugs throughout the night upon sunset. It is absolutely impossible for guests to enjoy the balcony if you are afraid of the different species of bugs on offer. I would suggest minimizing the bugs by installing electric bug killer equipments to improve the rooms.

A cosy place with wooden villa type. Just around 5-7 minutes walk to cingjing farm, but one has to mind the traffic as one is walking on the only road. Hotel is just a stop away from the nearest bus stop at NaWuLan bus stop and just walk downhill for 100-200m or 5 minutes to reach this hotel. Room was fully wooden type and huge for 4 pax. Its clean and fine for us. Bathroom is old but functions without any problem. Sceneries around it is beautiful. Had an enjoyable steamboat dinner after some cold walks outside.

The caravan style room is a new kind of experience. The location of the property is located higher than most of the tourist attractions. The temperature will be low at night during winter. However, heater and electric blanket is provided. We book for a room with mountain view and the view from the room is superb. I guess during a fine day you will be able to see sunrise from the room. If you are taking bus, make sure that you check the bus schedule to avoid waiting for 1 hour to get the next bus, else you will have to take taxi. Taxi ride from the cingjing farm is around 5 minutes. There are a few caretaker for the property. The hotel caretaker that we met is friendly, not sure about the other caretaker though as mentioned in other reviews. There is restaurants which are owned by the same owner nearby. If you show the room key, you will get to waived the 10% services charged from the bill when you eat at the restaurant.

Bulag B&B is located slight off the main road at Cingjing area but not difficult to find as they have signage pointing. Carton King is locate just right beside. They serve nice hotpot (especially good in cold weather). Few min drive to green green grassland and swiss garden.. the room was very big and spacious.. bed have heat mat on the bed, good at night when it's super cold! Hardly get to see their staff there but getting in and out is easy and the premises is safely secured so no worries.. they serve nice Taiwan style breakfast (porridge). No complain except they provide disposable towel. Bring ur own towel as it really doesn't absorb water well..

This is the best minsu I have stayed in my 9 days stay in Taiwan. The beautiful european design with breath-taking mountainous view from every room is just so awesome. The minsu is clean & well-maintained with polite young staff. We stayed in the quad room for 4 ppl with an upper deck bunk bed. My kids just love it so much. We had a very memorable 2 nites stay and will definitely come back to stay again. The location is abt 5 mins walk to 7-eleven & cingjing grassland. The minsu send us for free via mini-bus to the main entrance ( up hill) of cingjing grassland & we walk down slopes while we there. It's such a breeze to walk down hill then up hill. My kids enjoy feeding the sheeps & was reluctant to leave. I will highly recommend this minsu for it's convenience, fantastic view & well-maintained rooms.

It was a great stay in the resort. The room was big with a king size bed on the ground floor next to small living area and toilet. The mezz floor has another king size bed on the floor with balcony which offers great view! Only 2 downside were the toilet does not have a tub and also check out time is strictly 11am the next day. The location is less than a km to the CingJing Farm and it has enough free parking for your car.

The staff was very approachable and helpful, and facilitated us through our room and the public amenities. We found out from him that we could even get the Cingjing Urn Roasted Chicken sent to Beverly B&B directly from a restaurant, which made our dinner a very convenient and comfortable one! The room was clean and cosy (was about 12-16 celsius outside), which made for a very comfortable stay! There is a bus stop which is up the slope of the holiday center, where there is a hourly bus service leading directly to Cingjing Farm. The downside is that there is a very steep slope leading to the holiday center, so be very careful if you are travelling with heavy luggages or children. I suppose you can contact the reception to get the staff to drive his car up to fetch you.

I and my family are happy with this hotel very much. Begining with nice staff who can not speak much of english but he tried to speak and explain many details. We're impressed with the decoration of the lobby with the christmas theme. The room is clean and spacious with good decoration. We're very happy with the spectacular view in the morning. Nothing to complain. If i have a chance to come at Cingjing again, i'll come to stay here.

We reached the hotel in the evening and was greeted warmly by the hotel staff. The European style building immediately caught my attention. The ambience inside the hotel was amazing. Love the bears, the pictures on the wall and especially the garden dining area. We were given a room with the garden view so we don’t have to climb up the stairs with our luggages. Breakfast was simple but superb. Love the sandwiches and the salad very much. We also met the owner of the property while taking pictures in the garden with a beautiful view of the mountains. He was very friendly and had helped us to take some nice pictures. I love this place and would definitely return one day.

Did our own itinerary to visit cingjing and he huan shan for star gazing and this hotel is located in between the 2 places. Recommend that u pay the 400NTD/ pax tour up he huan shan for stargazing and sunrise as it is very difficult to drive up. the tour provided by hotel is excellent though have to wake up @ 3 am, its worth it. Very good view @ night. Clean Bathrooms too. Staff are very friendly so if you dont plan to drive up, can give them a call and they will pick u up from cingjing farm which is 5 mins drive away from hotel. they also provide service to drive you out for dinner and the restaurant they recommend is excellent.

We self planned the trip and were surprised that the heartwarming villa provided shuttle services to Cing Jing farm/Cingjing skywalk at certain timings, which is convenient as the public buses end their transportation early. Their free shuttle service is in the morning and at night too! They gave dinner ideas that actually provide transport to send us home even late at night, which is really really convenient if u want explore until late night. They have really powerful heating pads that warmed us through the night.. Breakfast provided is super nice, it's like a full course meal which is both healthy n delicious full of variety! I was so full i didn't need to eat lunch :) Last but not least is the really stunning view of the mountains & landscapes. Oh and they gave a voucher to use if u happen to come back again :) They actually have tickets to Swiss mountain & hehuanshan at cheaper prices, they'll introduce to you!
