Location is excellent, only a few tram stops to the main train station. Rooms are very clean and the staffs at the reception desk are very friendly. Overall stay is pleasant and will come back again. Highly recommended!

value for money ”
Helpful & polite staff of receptionist, we arrived early at 7:30am, planned to leave luggage and go out, but we are told our room is just available!!! it is so nice to check in early and have a shower after long flight!!! our room is for 4, 1 bedroom and sofa-bed in living room, not spacious but just for 4. toilet is so tiny. the room is quiet & comfortable. but the pillow (sofabed) is not good and too flat and under-stuffing. good location, tram station is just outside the hotel, only 4 stations to main train station or 2 stations to S-bahn metro and the mall with supermarket & shops. easy to access tourism point by tram. not much restaurant nearby. our room rate is excluding breakfast, extra fee is 13euros per head. it's too expensive so we didn't make it.
Citadines is located along the tram route, 4 stops from the central station, 2 stops to the famous Augustiner Keller. Note that there is no daily cleaning and additional charges apply if cleaning is required, but occupants can request for replenishments of items in room or fresh towels.
The apartment is really clean and spacious. It definitely gives you more room space compared to a hotel charging similar rates. The downside is the location. Within easy walking distance is a small supermarket. There are also not many restaurants located near the apartment. However, it is relatively easy to access the train to Munich airport from the apartment. It is about a 15-mins walk only. For those who want to have easy access to shops, restaurants, then this may not be suitable for you.
Hoping to be a repeat guest”
If I ever get the chance to visit Munich again, I would definitely want to stay at Citadines again. This has got to be my favourite affordable accommodation option in Europe. I would highly recommend this hotel, particularly if (a) you intend to stay in Munich for more than a few days and need Internet/laundry facilities, (b) you want some quiet nights in and the option of cooking simple meals.
Clean and convenience transport”
Pros - The tram just in front of the hotel. 5 stops to central train station and it take 5-10 minutes. The room is clean and big. Cons - the air ventilation is not so good. A bit stuffy during winter time. the air con seems not working well.
Great location hotel”
I was very happy during staying this hotel. Everything is ready for guest! And great location just in front of Tram.
A good choice at a reasonable price”
The property is in the midst of a renovation, so there was some construction noise. Staff were all professional, helpful, and courteous. Location is great if you know how to use the city’s tram system; if not, the costs of taxi rides would mount quickly..
Dear David, thank you for taking time to share your stay experience with us. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and that we have met your expectations. The hotel is in a great location and we can go everywhere by S-bahn which is near the hotel. The room is very big and clean, the environment around hotel is very safety. If I go to Munich again, I will choose them and recommand to my friends!

Nice Apart-hotel within walking of Oktoberfest”
Staff is fantastic and helpful! Tram stop right outside of hotel and train to/from airport within a short walking distance (less than 15 minutes). Walk to Marienplatz is about 20-30 minutes or you can take the tram. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

December in Munich”
We were vacationing and visiting the ChristKindlMarkts. The hotel was convenient to where we wanted to go. There was a trolley stop just a few steps from the front door. The only inconvenience was the lack of a bureau or dresser for storing clothing. For a short stay, we just lived out of our suitcases. But if I were staying longer, I would want a way to have the clothing more convenient. We would go back to this hotel.
Citadines Arnulfpark ”
We enjoyed our visit to Munich and Citadines was a part of it. We stayed there 3 nights as a group and noone had any issues about the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very helpful especially the manager on duty and recepcionist Selma.
Although the nearest S-Bahn station is Donnersbrueke, but I would suggest you to get to Muenchen Hauptbahnhof, get to the tram and take U-16/17 and get off at Marsstrasse, it stops directly in front of the hotel, especially if you are with you luggage and find it hard to work from the S-Bahn station. Staff is nice. However, 12Eur per person for breakfast is a bit expensive. They clean rooms once a week, so if you need special service, please ask.
Clean, Nice staff, big room!”
The room has everything you need and the space is big enough for a couple or small family with a reasonable price! The staff is very very nice and helpful, she recommended an authentic bavarian restaurant nearby the hotel and it was really good in taste, i went twice! i love it so much.
Clean and quiet room with kitchenette. We enjoyed our 3 day stay. The hotel staff members were all friendly and efficient. The tram station is literally outside the door and we used it daily to move around the city.
Holiday in Munich”
Our stay in Citadines was great. The room comes with a mini kitchen which means you can make your own meals. Room is very spacious with an additional fold up sofa bed. Tram car stops right in front of the hotel which is very convenient and there is a grocery store nearby which is good. Free coffee @ the dining room and staff was very helpful.
Good short-term stay hotel close to main station”
Our stay at the hotel was fairly relaxing, as room was spacious for up to 3-4 people actually. The room offered a good equipped self-catering kitchen that we used instead of using their not included breakfast option, and had decent free Internet access for up to 4 devices. The kitchen was a little narrow as it was located behind the entrance door but was OK. The bathroom was also a little small, while the sink was in a separate niche. When taking a shower it got a bit wet as the divider isn't ideal. As it's a self-catering apartment, room service only comes 1x per week to clean and change towels. Overall the location was very quiet and fairly convenient. Outside the hotel is a tram station you can use if you don't want to walk 15-20 min to the station.
A very convenient hotel for families ”
We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The location was convenient and the room was clean and fulfilled our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great for family travel and good value for money.
Kitchen, Laundry, parking and fast internet”
We had a great stay at the Citadines Arnulfpark Munich. It was super clean, the staff were very friendly (even with other guests children running and screaming through the foyer). We had our very own kitchen with dishwasher, pots, pans, plates, utensils etc. Although we had every intention of using the small gym (2 treadmills, cross trainer, bike and some weights) we didn't, but it looked clean and well maintained. The tram stop outside the front door step is great, about 10 mins max and you're in the city centre (Karlsplatz). The internet was pretty fast and cut out on me only once for all of 4 seconds, so no complaints there. There is a washer and dryer room downstairs you have access to, but it's 5 euro to wash stuff and 4 euro to dry - big Miele systems though so you will get a lot in there. There is parking available, but we didn't use it so i'm not sure if there is a cost or how good it is. The bedroom and bathroom were great though. Comfy bed - 1 full mattress, not 2 pushed together like most Euro hotels. Pillows were a little flat, but i've found most euro hotels have that, if you scrunch it up its fine. You can control your own air con which is great, and the windows open as well. Bathroom was new and clean, had 4 sets of towels and a hair dryer too. All in all it's a great place to stay, i'd definitely say again.
Comfortable,easy to transport,well kept hotel”
We love the studio we stayed for 2 days in the hotel. The hotel is of 15 mins walking distance from the train station or 5 mins taxi drive.Tram stop is in front of the hotel and can reach the city in a few minutes. When we arrived Munich the temperature was 33 degree and we really enjoy the well operated air condition. The room was well equipped with cooking facilities though we don't have the chance to use it.The room is clean and so is whole hotel. We would recommend to others for staying there.
