My husband and I stayed in Ha Long Bay the last leg of our 2 week trip. If I did it all again this would be the place we'd choose. Clean, elegantly stylised, helpful, engaging staff, comfortable beds and rooms. We can't say enough about this place. Yes it's not in the main hub but that's actually one of it's charms. It was so nice to return to at the end of a long day out, away from the traffic noise and bustling tourist activity. They went out of their way on so many occassions, (we'd lost count), to make our stay here so very memorable. It was sincere and genuine care and I will happily encourage anyone who's indecisive about all of the options, to choose this Hotel. You will be so thankful you did. Oh and the food, breakfast buffet and restaurant a la carte quality, is outstanding. We are so happy that this was our final memory of Vietnam. Thankyou to all the incredibly gracious and serving staff, from maintenance, reception, doormen, housekeeping, hospitality, chefs and all the in betweens, we truly felt cared for and nurtured. Modern hotel with great amenities ”
We stayed at the Citadines the night before taking a cruise around Ha Long Bay. When we arrived, staff were super friendly when they greeted us and we were checked in very quickly. Our room was a good size with an enormous balcony attached on the 23rd floor. The views across Ha Long and out to sea were fantastic. The bathroom was tidy also, however there was no shower pe se, we had to crouch in the bath due to how it's laid out but wasn't a major problem for us. Both pools were fantastic, but the winner was the rooftop pool above floor 30. It was a good size with huge double windows going around it, with great views across Ha Long. We enjoyed it after dark with a drink and a swim. The hotel had a well equipped gym with plenty of cardio and weights machines. The hotel's restaurants were great too, we had a great meal at the restaurant on the ground floor. It was a bit pricier than eating out, but good value nonetheless. The hotel also rents out bikes for free, so we cycled over to the other side of the city and back. Cycling there was very easy as the roads are wide and generally quite quiet, I would recommend it. All in all, I would stay here again.

AMAZING HOTEL & STAFF”
Wonderful hotel. We stayed in Citadines in Saigon and loved the hospitality and cleanliness of the hotel. This hotel is pretty new and it had everything we needed. Self laundry service was awesome because we needed clean clothes badly lol. The breakfast buffet was nice. We really enjoy the views from our room as well as the rooftop restaurant and lounge. The food and drinks were really good there. The staff helped us book a wonderful cruise to the Halong Bay and it was terrific from start to end. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family and will likely rebook when we return to Halong.

Abwsolutely fantastic hotel near by to catch a boat. The staff was great and gave us an upgrade for being in our honeymoon. The manager of the hotel was always in the front and everything was great!

Had a great stay at Citidines Marina HaLong - Before we boarded a Cruise on HaLong Bay. One suggestion i would have for the hotel is that they would offer room service for in-room dining till at least midnight. Though the Night Manager did offer us some complimentary nibbles as we we tired after a long day out and about. 9/10 :)

we stayed at the premier 2 bedroom. It was so big. We have everything in the room, and we were even able to do our laundry. The staff are friendly and recommended us to visit the Sun World with cable car. The breakfast is good, and the location is strategic. The Hotel staff helped us to call taxis whenever we need it.

Very good service and convenience, good breakfast. I feel impressed. Mattresses and blanket need to be shaken off lint dust. I can see lots of lint bust in the room. But its just a small thing to be noticed. Good service above all.
