Fantastic new hotel, fantastic location!”
After looking at many many many reviews of Melbourne CBD hotels, I booked the Citadines Melbourne on Bourke because I recognised the name as I had stayed in a Citadines in France and found it fantastic. I was not disapointed with this new hotel, the location is fantastic, just a short walk to ChinaTown, the Greek Precinct, Bourke St Mall, and even Lygon St if your willing to stretch your legs. The lobby area is new and clean, with a great colour scheme. The check in was quick and easy and I was pleased that my online booking was confirmed. The Studio executive room is exactly as it appears on the website, the hotel room was very clean & well spaced out. The fact that the basin was on the outside of the bathroom worked well for me as I was travelling with my sister in law and the fact that one person was in the bathroom didnt affect the other being able to use the basin. The pool & gym area were great, perfect for a workout after a long day shopping, or in our case eating at all the great restaurants in Melbourne. Would definitely recomend this hotel for anyone wishing to stay in Melbourne CBD. Looking forward to coming back again.

Excellent stay @ Citadines!”
Citadines on Bourke is almost the perfect place to put up while in Melbourne for vacation or even for work. Ive stayed there for 4 days in total in 2 different rooms. The room is spotless, spacious with a comfortable bed, cozy couch and a well equipped kitchenette. The hotel is also strategically located within CBD and the free tram zone, with plenty of shopping, cafes and restaurants just within walking distance. Almost all touristic points can be assessed via the free trams. It is also not far from the airports with various transportation modes available. The staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and knowledge in providing us directions. This place is highly recommended!

Excellent as usual”
2nd Citadines visit after Paris. Booked Citadines on Bourke Melbourne on 19-23 August. Check in was a breeze, got the room at 10am. Booked a 1 bedroom apartment for my family of 3. Daughter took the sofabed. Location was great. Tram stop just outside the hotel. Food aplenty within walking distance. Tang Food Emporium just 5 minutes walk. 10 minutes walk to Federation Square, Melbourne Central & major shopping area. Staff very helpful & friendly. Will definitely choose Citadines again.

Citadines Hotel Reviews”
We totally love love love and enjoyed our stay in Citadines on Bourke Melbourne. :) Size wise isn't super big but is good enough for 2 pax. And room design and all super modern and nice! The room was very clean and the kitchenette area, bowls, pans and cutlery were very new, clean and modern. Great pool, sauna and gym facilities available. Housekeeping service was excellent. They made the rooms daily and even check back with us if we need any new towels or so when we were not in our rooms during the cleaning timing despite us hanging the Do not disturb signage. Clean bedsheets and towels. I'll definitely come back to stay at this hotel again, will recommend to friends! Fast check-in and out. Good reception service staff attitude. Great location, easy to walk to the trams stop, eateries or shopping areas. 2 thumbs up!

Solid All Round Business Hotel”
This is the second time I have stayed at the Citadines on Bourke Street Melbourne. No issues - check in fast - check out fast - good room but strangely they don`t provide any face washers in the bathroom. Very comfy bed - great view and very clean. This is a slick operation and I had no issues this time - and none the last time either. Only down side is they charge for internet access - about per 24 hours. Would recommend for business or leisure travel - its a great location in Melbourne.

Pleasant stay with excellent staff service”
The hotel is very conveniently located as it is within a short walk to most shopping areas. There is also a tram stop that is just outside the hotel and I could take the tram to DFO Southwharf easily. Although we had to pay for overnight parking, the rate included multiple entries per 24 hours and was decent enough for city parking. The QVM is also just a short 6 minute drive away. What was most commendable was the service standards of the hotel staff. My 1 year old son was sick and threw up in the room. The front desk staff who took my call at midnight (Jason if I'm not wrong) was very patient and helped me to locate the nearest clinic where I could take my son. The next day, we received a very pleasant surprise when the front desk staff (Charlie) put up a small gift for my boy, who was cooped up in the room all day. The gift came with a card, signed by several staff. This extra mile service was something that my family really appreciated as we were very worried for our young boy and also very sorry for messing up the room and sheets. The housekeeping staff was also very considerate and upon our request, left extra sheets and towels for us, just in case our boy throws up again. I would definitely choose Citadines on Bourke Street again if I were to visit Melbourne. Thank you!

Perfect location but no free WiFi.”
The staff were friendly and efficient at all times, gave helpful information whenever asked and responded immediately and positively to any concerns or questions. The studio deluxe accommodation lived up to expectations and enabled us to fix our own breakfasts and light meals to complement visits to restaurants. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant/bar, Heirloom within the complex provides breakfast, lunch and dinner or a drink. We couldn't have asked for a better location with so much of the city just a walk away and trams regularly passing the door. Although the hotel was constantly busy, there were always sufficient staff on the desk and our room was a quiet and clean haven to return to after exploring the city. My only quibble would be the charge for Wi-Fi with no free access even in the lobby of the Apart'Hotel. Nonetheless, we wouldn't hesitate to return to Citadines on Bourke on our next visit to Melbourne in the near future.

Excellent location”
we were visiting melbourne to visit relatives at christmas and to see the boxing day test. we checked in around 6:00am christmas morning and although check-in wasn't until the afternoon the manager kindly allowed us to check in immediately which enabled us to have a much needed rest prior to a family lunch. the apartment hotel was well appointed and very clean. the only downside was a lack of hanging space particularly in the bathroom for towels. i preferred not to use the rail located directly over the toilet and chose the chair instead which was not ideal. the shower could do with a bigger tray for the toiletries but the medicine cabinet style mirror was excellent for storing everything. we were told on check-in that the rooms are not serviced on public holidays which was fine by us as i also read that on the website. a request for more towels and tissues was quickly answered even though it was a public holiday. citadines is in a great location with chinatown one street away, the mall down the hill and a pleasant walk to the mcg. the best thing is the tram stop right outside the door and plenty of convenience stores nearby. would love to try the blue bikes next time we stay in melbourne as the citadines is a great base for exploring the city. we will certainly stay here again as we really enjoyed our stay and the staff were great.

Toddler-friendly at excellent location”
Citadines on Bourke was situated in an excellent location, stone's throw away from the famous Tim Ho Wan diners on Bourke, with Chinatown just a couple of minutes away. We were given the top floor with an amazing full glass panel views from the living area of their 2 bedroom apartment. The entire apartment was spotless and was spacious for 2 toddlers to crawl and walk around on the carpeted floor without much supervision. Both bathrooms were in excellent shape with an inbuilt soap dispenser in both theatre shower, as well as the combined bath tub and shower for convenience. Both came with hair dryers and plentiful amenities. The 2 King beds requested were really 4 single beds coupled together to form a king. Nevertheless, this was comfortable. Each room was fitted with individual temperature settings separate to the living which was very handy. Ample storage with built-in robes in both bedrooms, as well as pantry and broom cabinets. Kitchen is fully equipped with 2 electric cook tops, a microwave, dishwasher, and fridge, in addition to a good variety of utensils, cutlery, and all their pots and pans. Excellent for preparing and heating up food for both adults and toddlers. Did not get the opportunity to visit or use their pool because of the cold weather and the fact that we were too distracted by the shops downstairs. All in all, would definitely pick to stay again in the future, especially if travelling with the kids.

Value for Money ”
I've stayed in 2 hotels during my recent trip to Melbourne. Citadines was my first and my 2nd hotel was a 5 star luxury hotel. To be honest I enjoyed Citadines more ! One of the reason is because Citadines feels more homely. The room is spacious, new, clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff are welcoming and friendly. Citadines is also located in a central location, so you can easily walk down to Chinatown or grab a bite at all the nearby cafe and restaurants. The tram is also located right in front of the hotel so transport is super easy and if you take a 3 mins walk to Spring Street, you can take the free Tram Service that goes around CBD.

Smart and central Apart'hotel in Melbourne”
the citadines on bourke is usually my first choice when i have to stay overnight in melbourne. as an apartment hotel, it combines the best of both worlds - rooms that are designed as temporary homes but offer the same amenities as a hotel. every room comes with a kitchenette (induction stove, fridge, microwave ove, dishwasher, toaster, kettle) and every utensil you could possibly need to cook and plate up a meal. great walk-in shower, pleanty of space, good water pressure and lots of hot water. the rooms are spacious and the design is modern and stylish. the location is central, the service always friendly. in my opinion, the citadines makes the perfect home away from home and i would recommend it whether you visit melbourne for business or pleasure, for 1-2 nights or a couple of weeks, families as well as singles.

Central location, modern amenities”
got a studio deluxe, which is essentially a studio with a sliding door that splits the room in two, but not fully. was a bit small for 3 adults and 1 child. we managed with an extra bed but we could no longer sit on the couch. the 1br would've been better with its additional 10 sqm of space. apartment amenities were sink, fridge, microwave, pots, pans, cutlery, china, glasses. i wish there was more than 1 seat so we could eat at the table at the same time. location on bourke was excellent. it was a block and a half from the bourke mall, which is pretty much the center of the melbourne cbd, and 3 blocks from federation square, where you can get on the free tour bus. it was also a block a half from the parliament station of the free tram. two 7-11 convenience stores nearby. very nice heated lap pool, though didn't get to use it. staff was kind enough to call my shuttle service even if they were very busy handling all the folks who were checking out. bathroom door lock was busted, which they promptly fixed by replacing it.

My go to place!!”
Staying in Melbourne? Then just make it easy on yourself and stay at Citadines. Beautiful modern rooms with great furnishings and fittings. Very modern and well looked after place. Prices are beyond worth it for the rooms compared to other places as well as it being in an amazingly central location on Bourke Street directly in front of the tram stop. We've stayed here twice and again next week. 10/10!

Used Uber to/from Melbourne Airport to Citadines. Nearby resturants and fastfood (McD and Hungry Jacks). Went to nearby Thai massage which was excellent before our flight next day to Sydney after touring the CBD. Free tram zone made getting around the CBD easy. Facilities clean and quiet, Would stay here again if we get a change to visit Melbourne again.

Great location, fantastic home away from home”
Had a very good experience, staff were very accommodating & helped out with everything we needed, incl late check out. Rooms were promptly cleaned by cleaning staff & it was left very tidy & immaculate. The view from our room was breathtaking, who would've thought Melbourne CBD was so beautiful, especially at night. Very short walk to Bourke St. and a little further to emporium, melb central and great dining options. Would definitely stay here again & recommend it to all my friends & family
