Smart Boutique Hotel”
The Citichic is a small, smart boutique hotel located down the bottom end of Soi 13. Location-wise, it is quite a walk to Sukhumvit. The hotel offers a tuk-tuk to ferry you up there but of course, when you come back to the hotel, you'll need to do it on your own. Note that it's actually easier and more interesting to walk across to Soi 11 and then up that road as Soi 13 is not an easy road to walk down (i.e. no pavement most of the way). This is also the case when coming to the hotel by taxi. The staff at reception are very friendly and check-in is a breeze. You are given a chilled fruit drink while they sort out the paperwork. The tuk-tuk driver is also very obliging - on one dire occasion, I managed to leave my passport at another hotel several streets away and he happily took me back there to retrieve it. The rooms are modern, comfortable, good size and very clean. Both the room and the bathroom are very stylish. Beds are large and comfortable. The room also comes with a single-seater lounge and a writing desk and chair, which I found very useful. The flat screen TV looks great although sometimes the reception is a little flaky. Another nice touch is the robe and slippers for each guest. Showers are good with great water pressure although the water temperature can be variable - once it hits hot, you'll be turning it down some way! Complimentary wi-fi in the room is a real bonus. They also give you a cable to hook your laptop up directly. For those without laptops, the hotel has 2 computers near the lobby for free internet use. Given the exorbitant rates many hotels charge for internet access (if they even have it), this is definitely something to give the hotel credit for. Breakfast, it has to be said, is only average with basically a choice between a limited American breakfast, some cereal and an Asian dish or 2. It's usually ordered off the menu rather than buffet although one day, they did set it up as a buffet. Coffee was good and some fruit
Friendly boutique hotel with attentive staff.”
I have chosen to stay at Citichic on 4 occasions during travel to Bangkok. Although I have tried other nice and reputable hotels, I have returned to Citichic for the comfortable rooms and friendly staff who seem to have a genuine interest in pleasing their guests. The location is somewhat unknown to many cab and tuk-tuk drivers which can require patience when traveling to hotel, but that shouldn't necessarily be considered a negative on the hotel's part. I suggest picking up a business card from the hotel front desk and showing to any driver for directions--problem solved. A positive for the location is that it sits at the intersection of Soi 13 and Soi 11 (due to curve in Soi 11) making for a short walk along Soi 11 to numerous well-reviews dining experiences and other conveniences.
The Best Stay Ive had in Bangkok in 10 years!”
I must say the most impressive thing about Citichic is the amazing staff, always friendly and took the time to go the extra mile. The rooms are fantastic and a great way to chill out after the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. I've been coming to Thailand over tens years and must say, this was the best stay I've had so far.Around Christmas time I wanted to hire a car, however it turned out that all the major car rentals were totally booked out. But due to the ongoing efforts of the reception staff, they managed to find me a great deal with a local Car Rental Company at a budget price. This had such an impact on my holiday that I was happy to book another week at Citichic. I truly cannot say enough good about my stay only that I highly recommend Citichic as a FANTASTIC HOTEL.
Great Value for Money”
The rooms was clean and beautiful. Quiet and best location in Bangkok. Easy to get everywhere. Maybe more variation of the buffet but the food was yummy. If you are first time in bangkok you need to go to Citichic hotel. Best small hotel and also great staff. Best location, can easily go everywhere and on sukhumvit road where shopping is great. Easy to get to the sky train to go to MBK Shopping Mall, Siam Paragon and Siam Square. The mini bar of the hotel is very reasonable priced. Beautiful hotel and great staff, will definitely stay again there. Nightlife Tip : Close to Bed supper club one of the best in Bangkok.
Great little Hotel tucked away on Soi 13”
I usually stay at Dream Hotel on Soi 15 when im in Bangkok however as I was just in town for one night on this occasion i thought i would save a bit of cash and chose somewhere cheaper. I wasn't disappointed. Citichic is the epitome of boutique hotel, small, modern, clean and good value for money. The bathrooms are almost the same size as the bedroom and includes rainforest style showerheads as well as a bath. As for location, well it sits opposite the soi that connects Soi 11 to Soi 13. QBar, Bed Supperclub and several other higher class establishments are within a 3 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again.
Small and stylish, good service, great location”
This was my second stay at Citichic. I recommend the hotel for those who prefer a smaller establishment, with some sense of individual style, in a central location. The hotel is just round the corner from Sukhumvit Soi11. My room on the street side had an interesting view of the little street that connects Sois 11 and 13. Noise is no problem. The rooms are noticeably smaller than similarly priced rooms at the nearby Citidanes Soi 11, however I just prefer the feel of Citichic and the less sterile and less crowded environment. The staff are great, especially the guy who I think is the manager.
We found this hotel looking through Agoda's reviews and were glad we chose Citichic Hotel. We found Citichic very cozy and her staff very friendly and helpful. It it actually walking distance to the Nana BTS but the hotel does offer free tuk-tuk service. Their staff even dropped us off at Robinson's shopping mall. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores located nearby and taxis are easily available which the hotel staff can assist to give destinations to the driver in Thai for you. Special thanks to Mr.Yoyo who was very nice and helpful to the hotel guests. The breakfast spread although not a lot of variety and nothing fancy, offered a good and healthy meal to start of for the day. Overall, we would come back to Citichic.
It is my first time in Bangkok. Hotel was recommended by a friend of mine. I stayed here for two nights, 11th Sep 14'-13th Sept 14'. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Emailed them before my visit to request mini celebration for my Fiance and my request is met. That I Thank you! Room is spacious. Comforting enough. Free flow of nice coffee and hot chocolate drink at the reception. Location is slightly further in from the main road/ BTS NANA Station. Nearest halal store/7-eleven/minimarts is about 5mins-10mins walk. About two buildings down, a nice rooftop place to dine-in accompanied by good music, pleasant view and good food at a very reasonable price. They are called NEST. Walking distance to various bars/pubs. Tuk-tuk service is every 30mins but service ends only at 7pm. Roads are always busy with traffic. Quite in the afternoon, happening from evening onwards. A great stay indeed. Would recommend this hotel in Sukhumvit area.
overall is awesome staying in this hotel.”
Im a frequent traveller to bangkok, but this is my first time staying in Citichic.. althought location is kinda far away from BTS Nana (prperly around 15 to 20min by foot) but the hotel also provide free ride to BTS every 30min.. and if u r keen for massage or bar, they have alot of mobile mini bar along Sukhumvit soi 11... Overall is a nice hotel but not advisable for young children to stay there.. As a solo traveller I will definitely go back there and stay again... two thumb up!
Hidden in a quiet pocket of Sukhumvit”
citichic is a truely lovely hotel. it is hidden away from the busy thoroughfare in sukhumvit. however, it is within easy walking distance to public transport and local restaurants and bars. checkin was a breeze, with such friendly staff running to open the door and welcome us. we were checking-in quite late. this did not pose any problem for the hotel staff. our special requests had all been organised ahead of time and they even allowed us to print our agoda voucher at the end of our stay. the roof-top pool is compact but delightful if you just want to float or enjoy the sun with your book. there is a quite reasonable gym there too, on the same floor. breakfast was effortlessly lovely. the staff custom make your eggs and you can self-serve fruit, juice and cereal. as it is a relatively small hotel, the breakfast available was fresh and the surrounds spotless. a delightfully relaxing hotel!
small hotel but good location and good vale”
have stayed in this neighborhood in bangkok many times, but this was my first stay at citichic. the location is good, at the quiet end of soi 11 and 13, easy walk to action on soi 11. didnt have breakfast in the hotel but they do have small restaurant and bar. the room was on the small side but very comfortable, nice design as well, i would definately stay here again, especially if spending most of the day out, for lounging by the pool choose a different location.
quiet location, fantastic rooms”
i went by the reviews and booked and was amazed by the beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet location. indeed citichic is chic hotel. the rooms are spacious and well decorated, and the bathroom has all amenities and very spacious. the staff are friendly and helpful, free wifi, gym and pool. above all a free tuk tuk service to drop you at the station or terminal 21 shopping mall. i would go back again to citichic.
Best out of everything”
If you are first time in bangkok you need to go to Citichic hotel. Best small hotel and also great staff. Best location, can easily go everywhere and on sukhumvit road where shopping is great. Easy to get to the sky train to go to MBK shooping mall, Siam Paragon and Siam square. The mini bar of the hotel is nice more cheaper than if you drink outside. Beautiful hotel and great staff will go back deffinity.
Design and location”
We recently stayed at the CitiChic for 1 day after reading about it on Trip Advisor. We loved it. The location is fantastic! It's on a Soi off Sukhumvit Road, about a 10 minute walk from Nana BTS station. The hotel has a free Tuk Tuk that will take you there, and anywhere else within a reasonable distance. We never had to wait for the Tuk Tuk, although we saw it being used constantly! The staff were great, very friendly and professional, and spoke good English, which is not always the case in Bangkok hotels. Hotel was booked with American breakfast. there is little choice for you to choose from. It is not buffet. It was rather disappointing but who cares as there are loads of other places to eat outside
Modern hotel for an unbelievable price”
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here - it was a little hard to find at first, but once we knew where it was we realized we were in the perfect spot - steps from the chic restaurants and bars of Soi 11, Citichic was a very modern, comfortable, clean, and attractive hotel. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean - wifi was reliable and fast throughout the room. The gym was compact but had several good quality machines (except a treadmill with a loose band). The rooftop pool was relaxing for a dip and hanging out in/next to, but not really big enough for lap swimming. If you're booking here, definitely opt for the inclusive breakfast for the extra money - the menu is standard with a small (but adequate) buffet and choice of two main options. We loved going down in the morning just to hang out in the lobby restaurant and watch the street outside. An incredible value for a good hotel - next time I'm in Bangkok, I'll be going back!
A Stylish Stay”
Citichic is a small hotel off of Sukhumvit Road and a ten-minute walk from the Nana Station. It's stylish hotel but not overly pretentious or trendy. The rooms are quiet, the beds are comfortable, the furnishings are smart and chic, and they all have large flatscreen televisions. The bathrooms can be a bit of a problem for some people. They have revealing windows but can be closed with panels, the water temperature in the shower pingponged from cold to hot and back again despite best efforts, the shower floods into the bathroom. That being said, this is not a deal breaker for me but rather a small annoyance. Many people are annoyed by the ten-minute walk to the Skytrain, though I didn't find it all that difficult. I woudl suggest walking down Soi 11 instead of 13 as there is more to see and do to distract you from the fact that you are walking longer than you want to. Or the hotel’s tuk tuk can take you to the station. The Sukhumvit area around the hotel is a good area for walking. area does not have a sleazy creepy atmosphere. Yhere are plenty of nice hotels, restaurants and spas around. The staff is pleasant and competent, but the breakfast forgettable. breakfast: forgettable
Small hotel great location”
I have stayed at Citichic many times. Keep returning. Decor getting a little worn. But overall still a fine looking hotel. Its location at the far end of soi 13 makes it a longish walk to Sukhumvit road. However if you use a taxi the location makes it quite convenient for access to Asoke and Nana as well as Sukhumvit. The one way roads around the area are very time consuming.
love this gem”
I've stayed here before and I will stay here again. Clean hotel, friendly staff, quiet, big rooms equipped with everything you need (including comfortable beds, pillows and sheets!), good coffee and breakfast. Walking distance from Bumrungrad Hospital, BTS and many cool restaurants. The only complaint I had from this visit was the construction right outside our window. Didn't ask to move rooms though because construction didn't start early and with aircon running in room you couldn't really hear the noise. My complaint was that using the roof top pool or gym was so unpleasant because it was very loud with construction workers sometimes watching. (But that has nothing to do with CitiChic.
Great quiet spot near busy Suk area”
I've stayed here many times and this will continue to be my first choice when in Bangkok. I love the quiet, cozy ambiance of this hotel and the staff are friendly always remembering me and welcoming me back. It is located down quiet Soi 13 but a short walk (or hotel tuk tuk) to busy Soi 11 with all the bars and restaurants you could want and Sukhumvit and the SkyTrain. The rooms are well decorated and looked after and the pool and gym on the roof are not big but do the trick. Looking forward to my next relaxing stay there!
