Staff were really great.”
The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any request or question I had. I really like the world city themed rooms. The location is perfect. Not much of a view from our window, and the TV had some foreign channels but not many. There is a beautiful lake across the street and a large shopping center with many dining options right next to the hotel. The shower was very nice! Overall, Citiez Hotel was exactly what we needed--a clean, safe, comfortable place to spend a night in Amsterdam.
Great base to explore Amsterdam from”
Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable with everything you need, including a hairdryer. Breakfast was good and well organised, if anything ran out it was replaced quickly. Although not in the centre of Amsterdam it was easy to get the number 17 tram to the hotel, which is only a couple of minutes from the tram stop. Trams are very frequent too. You can buy your tram tickets at the hotel, which makes it even easier. I would definitely stay here again. So much more affordable than a central hotel. Great stay, thanks Citiez.
Don't worry about it being a bit far from the centre! Lovely Place!!”
We booked this room last minute on the day in Amsterdam. It was very reasonably priced and I booked it based on the photos and good reviews. I did not check where exactly it was and was a bit worried as it seemed quite far away from the town center. This did not matter one bit as the tram goes straight there from central and stops at loads of the hot spots and is the same price regardless. When you got off the tram, there's a supermarket for all your room snack and wine! The hotel itself is really fresh, clean and friendly. The rooms are small but cosy and modern. Really loved the hotel- have no complaints at all! I will be booking it again for sure!!
Reception staff Monique, ever smiling and helping is one among the best staff of Citiez Hotel. Citiez Hotel is far away from the main city and attractions but connected by good tram service. Morning breakfast is ample and very good. Room is comfortable but the wash basin in the room is definitely out of place, bed height is too much you may have to climb up the bed, different experience.
THUMBS UP TO CITIEZ HOTEL!!! ”
I would highly recommend CITIEZ HOTEL ..Tram and buses are few walks away. It is sorrounded by shops and fastfoods . There is a lovely big Lake beside it. The room is good enough for me and my daughter..very clean and staff are very friendly and accomodating.. especially LEYLA and JHOYCE ..there is a shop at the front desk..so food is very handy when your tummy feels rumbling..This hotel is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.. ...Daniela Tanedo from Dublin,Ireland...
Hi Daniela, Thank you for your feedback. Great to read everything was ok! Hope to see you back again, Kind regards, Team Citiez
Very nice location right in the Osdorp plain Centrum. Well connected with Tram and buses to Centrum”
Very nice location right in the Osdorp plain Centrum surrounded by shops and restaurants . Well connected with Tram and buses to Amsterdam Centrum and Airport. 24 hours caffe and bar open. Housekeeping is good! It Value for Money!!
Wonderful boutique hotel”
I stayed here for 10 days while visiting Amsterdam, and my experience was terrific. The hotel staff are especially friendly and helpful, the rooms are quiet! I did not hear my neighbors once. The rooms themselves are a bit small, but I was travelling alone, and I didn't mind that so much, as I was out exploring the city during the day and only sleeping at the hotel. There are two grocery stores within a block, so you don't have to eat every meal a t a restaurant, I ate lots of salami, cheese, fruits and crackers, which was much less expensive than dining out every meal. Overall I rate this hotel as 10 out of 10, and you can't beat the price.
5 Start Service ”
Best Service, Staff was very friendly, location is good for shopping. If someone needs to exercise there is big gym next to it, though it doesn’t have any link with the hotel but one can walk in and pay for the daily visit. The only suggestion I have is that a small cupboard should be placed somewhere in the hotel, wall mounted hooks are difficult to place clothes. If cupboard can’t be placed than at least cloth hanger stand should be placed in the room. I highly recommend staying in this hotel. No need to book a taxi from airport to hotel, you can catch the bus (Bus Number 69) in front of arrival exit and drop by “ruimzicht” bus stop. You can buy the ticket on the bus. I suggest buying 48Hrs unlimited ride ticket for 12.5 Euro instead of buying a one-way ticket of 2.9 Euro. This ticket can be used on Bus and tram anywhere in Amsterdam.
Value for money ”
Very friendly staff, clean & modern, good transport links. Not far from airport and 30 minutes from Amsterdam Central. Room isnt huge but that's obvious from photos. Excellent for a weekend stay. Reviews were helpful in giving transport links.
Fantastic hotel. Great location. Great facilities. Super friendly staff. Enjoyed stay thoroughly.”
The hotel is located in Osdorp area hich is only 25 mins away by tram from the central station. The facilities they offer are great. The room was very clean and tidy with all necessary stuff. The staff were were super friendly and pointed us in the direction of some great places to see and eat.
Hi Piotr, Thank you for your lovely review. We are happy to read that you enjoyed your stay here. Hope you had a great time in Amsterdam. Kind regards, Team Citiez
Great Staff and Nice Hotel”
The room is small but it is sufficient for me as a business traveler. The staff is very nice to me and very helpful. Thank you Citiez Hotel
I found this hotel in the last minute. The location is a little bit out from the Central, but the Tram station is very close, like 1 step away. In 15 minutes you can be in Amsterdam Central. The hotel itself is in the middle of a large shopping square. Lake nearby, quite residential area i must say. The room was nice a clean. Check-in/out was super easy, staff friendly and smiley, which is always a good thing. I haven't tried the breakfast but as i seen they had a quite good selection of everything. Internet/Wifi connection was good during my stay. I loved it actually, i will be back.
All round brilliant”
Well, we got there very early hours of the morning, however the staff still helped us out even though we thought they might not be there. The rooms are perfect and modern. Very clean. The hotel itself is in Its own little town which is lovely, not too far from Amsterdam square (about 20/30 mins by tram, which I recommend and the tram stop is only 1 minute away). Although the cafe downstairs is a little expensive, they still had a lovely choice of food. Will 100% come again. (They also have parking in the Q-Park round the corner, so make sure to ask about that at reception when you go)
Hi Elisha, Thank you for your lovely review. Great to read that you had a good stay here and that you liked our all day cafe as well. Hope to welcome you back again in our hotel! Kind regards, Team Citiez
Always a pleasure”
I've stayed at Citiez many times and love this hotel, staff are great, bed is comfy, shower is clean and the location is nice - i'll always keep coming back :)
Good location not far from tram stop”
Basic clean hotel, friendly staff. Easy to get from city centre on the tram. Only downside is the hotel is cashless, all drinks, snacks etc have to be paid for by debit/credit card. My bank charges overseas usage fees when I use my card so not being able to pay in cash for a cup of tea was a downside. If I were to visit again I would consider having a pre-loaded debit card to save on fees. A few cafes and shops in Amsterdam were card only, as well as the trams so maybe something to consider.
Cozy Stay in Amsterdam”
Location is a bit out of city centre, but transportation is very good. A comfortable 30 minute ride and you are in city centre. The rooms are not big and it was a bit crammed for 2 persons, but we had everything that we needed. The hotel is very clean, staff go out of their way to help, breakfast is good. If I were to go back to Amsterdam, I would choose this hotel again.
I’ve stayed in this hotel earlier in the year, so I guess that tells you how much of an impression it made on me. You really get your money’s worth staying here. Each time I’ve gone the rooms have been a decent size and clean. Staff are lovely and it’s a perfect distance from town if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of it all each night. Its also in a shopping area. Will stay here each time I go back to Amsterdam.
It was a very nice stay. Super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very new and clean. ”
Exllecent service and very friendly staff. I don't speak any other language except English so it was very easy to communicate with staff as they spoke among other languages. That was awesome to see and hear. Very clean and quiet hotel (bonus). Location was a bit far from the main attraction areas which was fine for me but the tram availability which practically was next to the hotel made it easy and convenient to get to and from attraction areas. Basically get on one tram and don't get off until Amsterdam Centraal (main attraction areas right there) approximately 30 mins ride. Also shopping was right there as it was located right in plaza type setting. Over all I liked it I reccomend it. But if your the right in the middle heart of the action type person and like be right there then if your willing to spend $$$ then it might not be for you. The price was reasonable based on the hotel being fairly new and clean.
Nice little hotel 30 minutes from the center of Amsterdam”
Nice, clean hotel. Hostely helpful staff. Breakfast bufe with bread, yoghurt and fruit. It takes around 30 minutes with tram to the center of Amsterdam. The tram stops right outside the hotel. The bus to Schiphol Airport stops there aswell, and takes 20 minutes. If you don´t mind to travel to the center its a perfekt hotel
Hi Linda! Thank you for your review. Hope to see you back again, Kind regards, Team Citiez
Spotless room, amazing staff and good location ”
The hotel is in a good location, it’s got many shops and food within close proximity. There’s a coffee shop just 3 min walk away. The tram stops 1 min walk, trams to Amsterdam Centre. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful which made our stay better. 10/10 would stay again.
