Location: The lodge is located just along the main road so you will not have a hard time finding it. There are also restaurants close to the area like the Ristorante La Lupa (Italian), Thery's Burgers, Fries and Shakes (American) and many more within the Pops District Promenade located just a few meters away. Note: To those who are on a budget like me, there's a carinderia (eatery) in front of Life Church. Beside it is another eatery serving Chao Long (like a Vietnamese soup) for only P100...and it was good. Transportation: Going to town from the lodge only takes less than 10 minutes for only P10. Yes, you will only pay P10 if you will not rent the whole ride which will cost you P50. Room: The room I got was a De Luxe room so it had a balcony. The aircon was working good. Cable TV-Yes. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent, and it doesn't stink. Mattress was excellent. In general, the room is sparkling clean. Staff: They were all friendly and accommodating.

Value for money and wonderful staffs”
Staffs are very helpful. I like that they have coffee at the lobby which is available 24hrs. They just need to improve on cleanliness. Also, Globe signal here is zero. Good thing they have wifi. Just make sure to have Smart sim in case someone needs to contact you.

New, clean, on main road”
The staff were super friendly. The location is not downtown but still in an area that has everything you need (maybe on a come up) Restaurants, beach and everything else. The building is new, CLEAN and taken care of. On a island where there is not a lot of "NEW" this was appreciated. We would for sure stay there again.

Life-Saver!”
We were booted out of the property beside this hotel, and they are literally our life-saver. Their rooms is quite small and only have a small desk and chair. But the room does have TV. It also has a small terrace to air out wet clothes. The room have aircon and a ceiling fan (which can be quite noisy but tolerable) The water pressure in the shower is great, and yes thay have hot water from 6am to 7pm only because its on solar power. The location is not so ideal because it's 5-10 minutes away from town proper, although it is just along the mai road where tricylcle and Vans are passing through. Pop's District is 1-minute away for access to beach and food. The staff are helpful and nice. There's free coffee all-day in the common area. Recommended for budget-friendly stay in El Nido

El Nido Orange Rainfall ”
Our trip was met with inclement weather, heavy monsoon rains. Power service was intermittent but the place has its own genset. But unfortunately the wifi signal of Citrine is limited AND was not plugged to the emergency power. Good that the staff was accommodating enough and gave us Room#4 near the 2nd floor lobby which meant easier access to the hotel wifi. Globe signal was very poor in Corong corong area. Still, the place is value for money.

No wifi, no warm water, expensive”
None out of 4 of us would never stay there again. AC is only blowing on you all the time so you get sick, no natural light in the rooms as the lounge is built between 2 big houses, no working wifi there at all plus the mobile signal there is nearly no existant. In the rooms there is no connection at all. Hot water as there from time to time. Plus we payed twice as much as most of the places in the city vut to get there from the center you have to walk on the road with heavy traffic for 20-25 min.

Once you enter, the place seems good and rather new. The room is nice and the bathroom spacious and clean. However, there is a smell of humidity which is unbearable and in order to bear it you have to keep the air-condition on, which then doesn't allow you to sleep. There is no window to the exterior and it is a bit claustrophobic, adding it to the horrible smell. There is almost no wifi (we asked for the password but they told us it functions only between 12 am to 6 am - and not for sure). The staff is polite and there is free coffee but the whole experience is not that good and totally not value for money .

NO CONSIDERATION FOR FORCE MAJEURE. ”
We actually flew to Puerto Princesa but did not make it due to the poor weather condition. We got there but the plane could not land, tried for 3x but failed, had to alternate land and refuel the aircraft at Iloilo International Airport then went right after to PPS again, for the last time, the plane did not make it and we got directed back to MNL. We said all of these to Citrine Tourist Travel Lodge but no consideration, didnt even ask for supporting documents regarding our claim. I hope nextime there will be some flexibility regarding their terms for unforeseen situations like the big hotel we booked in El Nido. 1 star for the five categories because we weren’t able to see and experience the property ourselves. Modern and clean in Corong Corong”
Citrine is my preferred hotel in El Nido / Corong Corong. Yes it is a 50 peso (each way) ride to El Nido town - or a good 20 minute walk. No breakfast is included with the rooms and the wifi is woeful. Hot water almost never works. However nearly every hotel under USD $75 a night in El Nido suffers the same problems with hot water and wifi. Bang for buck is why I stay here - its modern and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly - you can pay triple the price for a dirty old cockroach infested place in town. This place is basic but modern and nice. My preferred El Nido / Corong Corong hotel - I have stayed 3 times in 3 years.
