Excellent location with and value”
First time staying at this hotel, but it definitely will not be the last. Booked this hotel for a night as we had an early train to catch at JB Sentral the next morning. Stayed in a Superior Queen room and it was amply sized for a couple. All aspects of the room were clean with no maintenance issues. The Air-conditioning was sufficiently effective. Full bathroom personal amenities were provided, and water pressure and heating were good. Complimentary tea and coffee with two bottles of bottled water were provided. In-room TV programming are local and Singapore channels. The hotel's WIFI login credentials were provided upon check-in. Front Desk to Housekeeping staff were courteous and accommodating. Location wise it is excellent with many eateries and retail concessionaires in the immediate vicinity of the Hotel and JBCC, JB Sentral and other iconic local landmarks are just a short walk away. Will definitely book this Hotel again in future.

This is my 2nd time staying with Citrus JB. the hotel lobby is nicely done up, cosy and simply beautiful. very basic hotel that suits my needs. The staffs (front desk/Security are all very friendly. Arrived early and since room's not available, they allow you to temporarily store your bags while you venture out. Check-in was hassle-free and done within minutes. Returned subsequently and was given Room 609, facing the street (Maybank). Had a wonderful night of uninterrupted sleep and street noise was not a problem at all. Rooms are clean, comfortable and the air-condition (Daikin) works perfectly. (I'm a polar bear born in the tropics and definitely loves a cold room) There's even a mini fridge which I'm able to store my cold drinks purchased from the convenience store that's just outside the property. Street foods are just a stone throw away, roti Cenai, Satays and a wide array of local delicacies. Will definitely stay here again.

Fast and hassle free checked-in for 1-night stay with family. Room is tidy and toilet very clean, with basic toiletries provided. Superb location for those who wish to roam around JB. Only 3 minutes walk to City Square, near CIQ, with a lot eating and convenience shops nearby. Great hospitality & cheerful face, from Reception/Doorman/Guest Room staff! Thank you. Things to improve, maybe is to provide a box of tissue paper inside room. Also, at night due to my sensitivity, on off hearing some noise of door closing which interrupts sleeping. Overall, I am satisfied and happy with my stay in Citrus Hotel. Would consider this hotel if visit JB for short trip again!

Decent 3 star hotel”
We booked 2 nights but only stayed 1 night, as the previous night was booked to guarantee a room and early check-in upon arrival on the following day. For a 3 star hotel, everything was nice and good. Don't expect too much, as it's quite an old hotel. Location was just right next to CIQ and City Square shopping mall. About 5mins leisure walk to Pasar Karat (bazaar/night market). There's an eating house next to the hotel (24hrs, but not recommended) and also a convenience store just next door. Checked in into a clean spacious room on the 4th floor, near the elevator but the floor is a bit sticky. Would recommend wearing bedroom slippers in the room which the hotel provides. The toilet is old but clean and neat. Water pressure was good too. Bed was somewhat comfortable (we only stayed 1 night) but the bedsheet's old and thin albeit clean. A few moments later, we realised that we were given a room with a aircon leaking. It wasn't that bad as it was still functioning, however, the sofa was somewhat affected as it was placed right under. We really don't have much to complain. The only downside is that, the room door has a huge gap beneath. We were worried if there might be creepy crawlies entering the room or peeping tom lurking haha, but thankfully, nothing of that sort had happened. The hotel staff especially the door man were really awesome. They greeted all guests each time one passes by, and that small gesture really does have a big impact and made our stay pleasant. Thank you to the housekeeping staff too for sending our iron & ironing board so promptly. Will I return? Maybe yes maybe no. Will I recommend others to stay? Sure, if you want to experience a night's stay, why not! :)
