"The staff were very friendly (my kababayans, Filipinos). The dinner and breakfast were delicious. I recommend to include some vegetables for breakfast. The room is not that big but the bed was spacious. I liked that you open the lockers by scanning through the little circle "key" (not the traditional keys) but what I did not like about it is that, it is too big and too heavy to drag. By the way their lockers are not the typical locker type. They have those big wooden boxes laid on the floor with wheels. The location is okay, not that near and not that far to the city center. What I did not like is that when you open the window (for the air to enter), you can hear the trams and cars passing by and you wouldn't be able to sleep right away. Maybe this is not the case for some guests. I stayed at room 306. "

"Hotel Lugano is a 2 stars hotel not a 3 stars. On the other hand, it is clean and close to transportations, metro Lambrate station is not more than 200 meters away and Penny supermarket less than 100 meters away. Staff are nice and helpful. WiFi is excellent in the room and so is television."

"We've just come back from 4 nights at this hotel and honestly it was brilliant after reading some reviews I was actually a little bit worried about arriving here! On reviews people have complained about: the location, the breakfast, and the pool area. The location... I thought was great it's out of the city centre, which is quite nice and people should really look at a map before they book if they're going to complain about the location of a hotel! There is a metro station which is a 7 minute walk from the hotel, and you can get everywhere on it... really not that difficult! There's also some really nice places to eat around the hotel and a supermarket across the road! The breakfast.... genuinely one of the best European breafasts I've had, and I'm normally quite fussy! There were fresh pastries every day, beautiful fresh fruit and bacon and eggs too! The pool is also really nice!! Could do with some more sunbeds though! "

"It was a very pleasant stay. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, recommended and helped us order pizza and pasta, showed us the way to shopping and tourist attractions. Room size is reasonable (not too small) and clean. Location is great, near to Metro and within walking distance (less than 1km) to supermarkets. There's also a restaurant selling delicious pizza just behind the hotel! Could have improved on the WIFI (may disconnect occasionally), breakfast is good but variety can be improved. Can also provide flask for making hot water and the room needs renovation (not as new as what the photos in the internet shows)."

"My stay was astounding. By far the BEST hostel in ITALIA! If you stay at HOSTEL COLOURS--expect 5-star treatment, great facilities, provide guests with very good hospitality. You won't be disappointed if you book a room or bed here. Jeff and the staff work very hard to provide guest satisfaction. Give them a try, see how you can experience MILANO in a truly unforgettable time."
