This hostel is fantastic. Great location, lovely & smiley staff (Thanks Lindsay for the check-in and the Argentinan tattoo artist guy for the tips regarding the city), well-equipped kitchen, big chilling area, everything super clean & cherry on the cake : Sauna + cold water bucket. All those services for a super good price ! So you better go there ! LOVE IT. Tack-Merci :)

Good location and affordable hostel in Stockholm center”
The hotel is just 10 minutes away from Stockholm central station by walking. The room and bed were well clean. It has fully equipped facilty such as kitchen and public living room. The staffs were helpful and freindly. But the hostel had no provided towel, please bring your own. And, it had another fee for bed linen and pillow cover (pay at check-in).

Really nice hostel with friendly atmosphere, they have lots of table games and actually I was the most surprised when I found sauna, it is really cool I think. There was just one thing what surprised me that they haven’t nonstop reception but they send an email for check-in online and it not so hard. I am glad that I choose this one hostel and I will recommend

Pros: - great location, few blocks to central station - amazing & friendly staff - comfortable bunk beds - generally clean - free coffee/water after 11am Cons: - extra payment for towel & linen - still have noise after 11pm - thin walls, rooms not soundproof - can hear all kinds of noise from everything Overall, still value for money especially if you are looking for a good location as it's right at the center os Stockholm.

Generally a good hostel”
Generally everything was OK. The only thing that was really disappointing was that the toilet in the WC right next to my room was clogged. There didn't seem to be enough WCs to use as well.

Hi The staff is unqualified at all except a girl called Linzy , Very bad rooms without any windows ( Didn't mention while booking ) , a room mate suffer from skin picks which maybe due to Bugs , which reflected on moving all our stuff to sauna for 3 hours , sleeping in another room ( Which is good ) but we have to leave that room cause its reserved, but didn't return back to our room directly, we waited for 3 hours which reflected on loosing nearly a day from my vacation,

My stay here on AUG 14-17, 2014 was really nice! I actually tried to book my brother to stay here the night we arrived in Stockholm but I made a mistake on the dates and he had to go to another hostel nearby which he commented was not really nice so I am glad to have gotten my dates right for my stay here at City Backpackers! hee! well, the start of my arrival in Stockholm was bad, our train from Malmö was delayed for 2hr 45 mins. so we arrived at 3am plus... grrr... and so coming to City Backpackers felt good for me... it's not far from Stockholm C station (3 streets away) and Megan was there to guide me to my room, bathroom and also kept the info concise and little for me cos I was really tired and I wanted to have a shower before bed. She is cool and allowed us to dump our big heavy luggages at the reception. :) City Backpackers felt really welcoming and like "Welcome home" honest. :) Maybe cos the people working there are so cool. I followed my brother to his hostel and it felt different. :p too bad for my brother... Awesome stuff about this place, it felt like a camp right here. haha.. with common imacs/movie room, common outdoor sitting area, kitchen with free pasta, free washing machine/dryer use, lots of lockers everywhere for you, wonderful place to mix around. Even hanging around the reception is relaxing. & a sauna too! I am here with my bro to do a quick 2 day tour of Stockholm and missed out on the interaction with the guests. Pity! I definitely will only stay here next time round in Stockholm!

Great hostel to stay in Stockholm”
The best thing about this hostel is the ability to cook in their huge, IKEA-equipped kitchen! It is a great way to save up some money and cook your meals – everyone at the hostel feels compelled in doing so. On top of that, the location is premium – a 5-minute walk from the Stockholm central station and the bus station. The only thing I missed was some atmosphere. Some people spend most of their time on their phones/laptops. Also, some people travel together, and then it makes hard to bound. Anyway, I would stay again at this hostel if I have the chance to be back to Stockholm.

Very great hostel that enhanced my solo backpacking trip!”
Friendly staff. Clean, safe and convenience neighborhood. Building and dorm rooms secured by codes (dorm building code changes daily). Bus stops close by. Close to main attractions / city center. Comfy dorm rooms (beware of squeaky noise from top bunk) with warm and very light comforters. Clean bathroom, shower, kitchen and common areas. I will stay here again and highly recommend this hostel!

Really nice and friendly personnel, clean rooms and showend/toilets (partially because everyone should take their shoes off in the hallwag), a lot of individual travelers so it’s quite easy to make contact. You should definitely go on the bike tour, it was worth it. Unfortunately I wasn’t in Stockholm on the days they had other activities (pub crawl, kajak tour). You should book directst on the website of the hostel, because I only found mixed rooms on Agoda, where there are all female rooms on the website of the hostel.

Less than 10 mins walk from the Stockholm central station and it's convenient for city exploring. Nice and comfortable setting with interesting decorations. Both staff and people staying in the hostel are friendly.
