"This hotel is near the duomo so is well placed to visit the sites of the city. It is a 4* hotel but some attention is needed to bring it up to date, up to scratch. The furniture in the foyer is particularly well-used and rather sad. The restaurant is recommended , both for breakfast and for dinner. The bedrooms are are well looked after, all linen changed every day. A few of the staff are inefficient, however, especially on the reception desk. One older member of staff didn't know how to take a credit card payment! He was rescued by another member of staff but this had caused a problem more than once. Ridiculous in this day and age."

"The hotel is very centrally located, about 10 minutes walk from the Duomo and other major attractions. The price was very reasonable. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Staff were helpful. There's no metro station nearby so you need to take a bus, either from the airport or train station. Bus 60 brings you just a few meters from the street where the hotel is situated."

"Pros: location! Hotel was a good value, short walk to the Dumo Square, shopping, restaurants, the metro, city buses. Hotel has nice breakfast ( included in my booking), great staff, clean room., comfortable beds. Cons: room lacks electrical outlets near the beds to charge/use cell phones, laptops etc. WiFi a bit slow and drops out periodically. no free water bottles in room, bathroom has a tub/shower combo vs modern shower only ( rooms a bit dated, but clean and functional). Note: Uber is available in Milan, but I found to be unreliable in getting a ride in a timely manner. and the same as a taxi. Taxi’s take cash /euros only and are everywhere. Consider prebooking a ride from the train station or airport to get to your hotel if you are a first time traveler as cost will be about the same but more convenient. "

"Centrally located and so nice to have the little kitchenette to make coffee/meals if you wanted to. Room was clean and updated, very modern. and with al the amenities you could ask for. It was a short 5 minute walk from the Duomo and the central area of the city. About 1 20 minute walk to the castle. The Duomo Metro station was close and getting around using the metro was pretty easy. We took the metro from the airport and to the central train station without any issues. "

"Our family visited Uptown Palace Hotel in Milan, Italy. We had a great experience! Our family of four stayed in a beautiful executive suite that had a view of the gorgeous Duomo Cathedral. Despite the construction cranes hard at work, we had a very beautiful view of the city in our corner position on the 11th floor of the hotel. The front desk staff, quickly explained how easy it was for us to park our rental car in a nearby car park and then walk to the City Centre. Very easy to do! All in all, the hotel was clean, modern and very comfortable. After a long day of touring, we retired to the hotel to enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant which was delicious and presented in a very traditional Italian way. Due to this positive experience, we decided to enjoy the complementary breakfast the next morning. This meal was even better than dinner! Despite the dining chairs which need to be replaced, we found the atmosphere and staff to be very conducive to a relaxing vacation! We would recommend to a friend and will be back."
