Close to US Embassy & Robinsons; Comfortable Rooms”
Stayed here for a weekend with my family. Location was OK being near Robinsons Place and US Embassy, not to mention across from Cowboy Grill. Small new gym on second floor. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that there is NO business center at all to print out some documents I needed. Overcharged for the printing even though it's black & white. Extremely limited parking, extremely stupid not to build a car park or garage as there's only four parking spaces in front, short term Pinoy thinking. Other than that, comfortable spacious rooms and bed.
Small modern looking room. Overall clean.”
The room was clean overall, but I walked around barefoot for 15 minutes and the bottom of my feet were black, so they don't do a good job of mopping very often. Everything else was clean. The price is just a bit high compared to comparable hotels nearby, but I would stay here again if other hotels are full.
Staff are b6 far, the most accomodating Ive encountered”
+ they were fully booked, so they upgraded us to a deluxe family room for free. Yey!! + my cousin ended up staying with us for the night, I called up the lobby to inform them for settling of additional fee, instead of making us pay for the extra head, they let it slide for free, just need to pay cafe if my cousin would avail of buffet breakfast. + quick response time to requests, i.e. extra slippers, etc.
Great F&B Staff - they are the friendliest,”
Always a wonderful stay at City Garden. We had 3 rooms for 3 nights with the family. Staff was wonderful especially F&B team, especial mention to Kevin who was very accommodating and great hospitality, perfect for his job as well this amazing staff. Ediel, Joven, Reniel, Dave, Kervin, JR and Jen. Manager Jobelle and Front Desk Staff. All Security Staff. The TV in the living room is gone and some amenities are missing. I loved the new and modern look of the lobby. Looking forward for more stay at City Garden Suites. Thank you. Happy Holidays - Patrick Leynes
We felt discriminated”
The hotel was good, staff at the front desk were pleasant, the guest attendants helped us a lot and the room was spacious... but breakfast came and our experience was ruined! I'm not talking about the food, but an incident we experienced. The table beside us seated a foreigner, we are Filipinos by the way, and he asked for bacon, so right after they delivered the bacon on his table we ordered as well for 1 freaking order of bacon - so the waiter said, "alright ma'am, 1 order" then I saw Kevin again (waiter) and asked about the bacon we ordered, and he replied "ay ma'am niluluto pa po" we waited yet again and asked again, and no bacon came. I wouldn't have asked for it if I didn't see anyone ordered it. If this was the hotel I worked for, and somebody ordered and was ignored - it's automatically NON COMPLIANCE - a Major Finding! Shame on you for discriminating your fellow Filipino!!!
Good bfast included
Comfortable room, cozy cafe”
Pros: This place has all the basics. Clean beds, comfortable room, fresh towels, and friendly staff. My favorite part is the cafe. It's has a cozy ambiance and I love the breakfast buffet selection -- it's not overflowing but just enough. Definitely value for money. Cons: Check-in took a while. We got there at 2PM so we expected that the room is ready by then. There are blocked sites in the network which is a HUGE headache when you're trying to work. At least 2 of the 6 sites I use for work is blocked so I had to go to a nearby Starbucks to get the job done . The reception tried to help but that didn't work. They say they no longer have IT techs to help. Overall, pleasant stay for short, overnight trips. Not for business travellers maybe because of the internet hiccups.
Clean and affordable”
Pros: near banks, department store, restaurant and transportations ex. Taxi, jeep and a little father for train. Suites are spacious enough for 4. Cons: rooms does not have shower curtains so the bathroom is prone to become slippery after use. There is a ref but it does not contain anything when you choose deluxe but not in a suite.
No "daily" complimentary water though.”
I chose this Hotel because of location (near the training center"TMTCP") as well as reviews. We stayed here for 4days/3nights. The staffs are accomodating, friendly and helpful especially "Angel- restaurant staff " and "Ron- our room steward." Breakfast buffet is very good. However, to book this hotel took too long for confirmation "no instant reply". and the complimentary bottled water is only on the first day "not daily". We also had noise problem from Airconditioner but they repair it immediately. Front desk not visible at all times. But overall they meet our expectation. Will come back but hopefully there will be Daily complimentary bottled water so we don't need to buy from (outside"cheaper price").😊
Citi Garden Suites Malate”
First time staying at this hotel. Breakfast was included in room price. I'm not a fan of inclusive breakfast however Citi Garden was a buffet-style so there was plenty of fare and a good choice. No gripes to speak of. Yes, I would return.
Staff - Cleanliness - Buffet Breakfast all great - makes me a contented guest”
Right from the warm welcome by the effervescent Camile in reception setting the scene for a short but wonderful stay. A neat and clean room with a comfortable bed, plus the added bonus of Australian Network Television endures a relaxing night. I love how the hotel adds those little extras, in this case a stationary tray including scissors, stapler, paper clips, sticky tape, and glue etc, also an umbrella in the room. All this followed by a delicious breakfast. Happy friendly staff always win my vote. Who wouldn't be happy? I AM - Kevin M. Australia
I would recommend to stay here a night or two , good location nice and clean , breakfast can be a little better but it wasn’t bad , the staff very very nice people !!!i would stay here again before heading out to the airport

Stay was worth the price”
We enjoyed our 2 night stay here in City Garden Suites Manila. They upgraded our room from Standard Double to Superior Double for free. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was also fulfilling, I loved everything that they served here. What I didn't like is that I can hear the noises in the hallway which can be a bit uncomfortable since I am a light sleeper. I could hear people shouting and laughing outside our room at about 1 AM. Also, it seems like everything in the hotel has a price. No slippers were provided in the type of room that we availed. If you want to have one, you have to pay. If you want additional towels, you have to pay. So I was very careful in using things in the room. But overall, we liked the hotel.
It’s good to stay here”
The location of the hotel is very accessible to anywhere you go. When we went there, the hotel is under renovation. Breakfast is very good. Only thing i was looking into it is when i asked for extra towels and slippers but the staff took so long to come back that i have to keep reminding them.
Dear Marichu, We really do apologize for the delay of your request .We really had a problem with our towel supplies lately due to some circumstances. Rest assured that we will make sure it wont happen again. Thank you for the positive mention of our breakfast and our location as well. Minor repair of the lobby is indeed ongoing and hopefully by the time you get back you could see and enjoy the new face our lobby. Thank you again and have a nice day! Sincerely, GLory Leteracion General Manager
Excellent Hotel In All Respects”
I have been staying at the City Garden Suites for several years. The staff is absolutely outstanding in every way. The facility is well maintained overall. And this visit it was obvious the WiFi had been upgraded - it rocks now! I will continue to stay at this property when I visit Manila. I can think of no reason to change.
Although I extended for 2 nights they charged me the first night when I could not reach the hotel even if I called them before. Front desk not so helpful. Have to ask many times to clean the room. Room very dark. It seem Agoda clients receive a bad treatment. Staff at breakfast very nice. Small but good gym. The area around the hotel is quite dirty
I love this hotel.I always love to stay in this hotel.very clean and close to everything.only the downfall is the waiting is too long.If you arrive early they can't give you a room right away. But other than that everything is excellent Thank you
Very good breakfast, clean and safe. Courteous staff, room boys and cleaners were very accomodating. Easy walking distance to Robinson mall, just watch your bags and watch your back and you should be ok. Cowboy Grill just across the street, great live music entertainment. I'll definitely be back again while in Manila.
Very good hotel...”
Room is spacious, stayed here with co-workers... we requested for a take out breakfast since our flight was so early and they provided us with a complete package meal. Also recommended for families since the location is near to Robinson’s Place... thanks to the staff too, very accomodating.
