"The location is 5-star, so closed to City Hall MRT station. Taxi to airport within 30 mins. Room dining and restaurants are good ! I was attending an event and have sent 2 boxes of materials to the hotel in advance. They were kind enough to keep them for me and deliver to my room when I check in ! I will definitely stay with Carlton for my next Singapore trip."

"The suite is spacious and bigger than other hotels of the same price, but the lobby is rather small. The view of the pool and gym room are excellent, can see the garden by the bay, it is worth the price. Laundry service was provided but we used the washing machine in our suite instead. Breakfast stops on Sun and public holidays."

"This is one of my goto places in Singapore. Positives: smaller hotel. No queues at reception, quick service at breakfast, low floors means very little waiting or riding time in elevators Minor issues: bathroom has limited privacy if you are staying as a couple (I am a solo business traveller at this hotel), and breakfast is good for the value but much less than the mega buffets at more expensive hotels."

"Superb location in the city centre. Located beside the shopping mall which has everything you need. Plenty of food options and a super market to boost. The only blimp of the stay is that it does not provide complimentary parking as the carpark belongs to the shopping mall. Information on the cheaper valet parking alternative was not told to us prior to arrival. It costs me an additional 50SGD per day for the parking."

"I enjoyed a short business stay in this hotel. Great location, very helpful staff, good swimming pool. A few more drink options at breakfast (fresher juice, better coffee) and a better equipped gym would really make this hotel stand out. I will happily return. "

"Booked the newly renovated king harbour view room. Everything was clean and good at first, view is amazing. But, the bedding was bad/ rough and the duvet is totally not breathable . Would have expected a much better quality bedding given the price of hotel. The bed area is not very cold despite the lowest temperature. My husband had trouble sleeping on the bed due to bad air circulation so had to sleep at the couch. Water tasted funny so had to ask for mineral water which is fine. Given the price, could have stayed at a better hotel. "
