“Great Location for a Short Family Stopover!”
We stayed at City Hotel Krabi for 4 nights as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids and it was a great choice for our short transit. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Krabi town, making it easy to walk to the nearby night markets and find plenty of food options. We had a compact room, with a bunker bed that could comfortably accommodate all four of us. The room was clean and had good air conditioning, which was a relief after a day of travel. However, we were disappointed by the very strict 2 PM check-in policy. Despite arriving at noon and seeing many rooms unoccupied, they wouldn't allow us to check in early, forcing us to wait with our bags for hours. One major issue during my stay was the water temperature in the shower. Since there is no individual geyser, the water remained lukewarm at best and never reached a temperature suitable for a hot shower. This made for an uncomfortable experience, especially in the mornings.. A 7-Eleven right next door was incredibly convenient for grabbing snacks and drinks. While the beds were quite firm and the bathroom drainage could be better, the overall value for money and central location can't be beaten for a quick stopover.
