Worst place I've ever stayed in
The two level room my group stayed in was awful. The cupboard draws were broken. Damages upstairs. Queen bed was broken. And was over priced for the state of the room

Loud, terrible wifi, broken beds
I'll start off saying that when I first walked in I was impressed for the cost of the room. Then it went downhill quick. I received 3 wifi vouchers for 2GB each so I thought great I'll be able to plan a bit more of my travels with my laptop. The Internet was embarrassingly slow, worse than the 56k dialup days. It would take about 4 minutes to load one webpage. I asked about it and the person at the front desk said a few people had complained and that he had a call in to get it fixed. It never got better for the rest of the stay, 5 nights. Next I lied down in the bigger bed and it wobbled. I checked and there was a wheel missing from the bed frame. So I tried the other bed out. It sank so far down in the middle that I thought it was going to collapse on me. Managed to fall asleep on the wobbly bed and got woken up very early by kids running up and down the halls for a long time and it happened for about 3 days. The last night there were people laughing and walking upstairs so loud that it sounded like the fan was going to fall on me until around 4AM. I was going to ask about switching to another room but every time I walked by the front desk there was a note saying that it was completely booked. Ended up loving Brisbane and wanting to spend a few more nights so I booked a hotel for about the same price closer to the CBD which is a dream in comparison.

Convenient but bed was not good
Obviously a budget accommodation so not expecting luxury. Ok to stay but bed extremely uncomfortable and bathroom not as clean as it should be. Arrangement for late arrival worked well.
