We chose to stay at City Season Towers once again based on our previous positive experience back in 2018, when everything was simply perfect. The hotel’s location is undoubtedly superb – conveniently close to the BurJuman Metro Station, BurJuman Mall, and plenty of pure vegetarian Indian restaurants. As a family that follows a strict vegetarian diet (no eggs either), this location was a major plus for us. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted at the reception by Ms. Joyce, who was extremely courteous and helpful. She ensured a smooth check-in process and went out of her way to make sure our room and stay were comfortable, especially since we were travelling with a child. Her hospitality was a highlight of our experience. However, we were very disappointed with the breakfast offerings this time. One of our key reasons for choosing a hotel with breakfast included was to avoid the morning hassle of finding suitable food for our child. Unfortunately, the breakfast lacked pure vegetarian options. The idli served was overly filled with soda, the roti (Indian bread) was undercooked, and the fruit options were extremely limited. Most other items, including desserts and cakes, contained eggs. We did bring our concerns to the Head Chef and the Hotel Manager, but were met with indifference. We were told that all food items were outsourced and that nothing could be done to accommodate our request – even for a child who was clearly struggling to find anything suitable to eat. This was very disheartening, especially considering that in our travels to many other countries and hotels, chefs and managers have often gone out of their way to prepare fresh vegetarian meals on request. To summarise: Location & Front Desk Experience: Excellent, especially thanks to Joyce. Room Comfort: Satisfactory. Breakfast for Pure Vegetarians: Poor and disappointing. If you are a pure vegetarian family, especially travelling with children, you might want to consider alternate options where dietary preferences are taken more seriously.
