“Lack of maintenance.”
Booked it for our recent group trip. From the pic shared, it looked well maintained. At first, during check-in process, it was okay. Do bear in mind, upon check-in, they will require u to put in security deposit as well which is to be expected for certain accommodations. Then, when we entered our room, we were shocked with the condition of appliances in the room - the TV bracket that seems to be supported with toilet paper, the lamp on the wall, the rotating fan was not rotating (until we had to hang a glass on the string as weight support to let the fan moved!). There was also no AC remote for us to switch on our ACs. Apparently, we need to request it from reception area (hmm..) and we did that, only to have to wait for about 15mins or so to have it delivered to our room. AC worked well btw, no worries. We just felt it was irrelevant for us to request AC remote in the first place when we had our booking set earlier. It was not even a last min booking. Well, good side was, at least the toilet & bathroom was spacious than std room & it was clean (but not sparkly, just ok-ok to say the least). There were also alot of stores, eateries nearby so u did not have to go far to search food. Since we were only staying there for a layover, we just wanted to have a place to rest our head and this accommodation offers it with reasonable price. TBH, I am not sure if it is only for our room that has issues since ours is a family room. Perhaps the standard room is better?? But I do hope management to improve the appliances in the room. They could have 2 buildings to open this accommodation, so my expectation is to expect with that capability, they should be able to maintain it. But it is disappointing.
