Very good”
Stay in City Villa for 1 night. Read a lot of negative comments but surprisingly found out the room was nice, clean and with a new look after refurbishment. Well done!! So bookers, I recommended you alls try City Villa Hotel KL. Affordable and value for money. Easy access to shopping centres via monorel station just a stone throw away. A good place to stay in the vibrant area, good staff and good food served. Breakfast serve with few choices with their special localities.
Hotel City Villa, KL”
Hotel City villa is nice hotel in chow kit, KL. The room was posh looking, big, clean and beautiful. The rent is quite affordable and the room is worth the money. Though you can reach there by bus, it will be better to go in taxi as locating it is little difficult after getting down at chow kit. Booking was easy and there were hassles. The checking time is 2 pm and chech out time 12pm. Just in fron of there are hawkers on the roadside selling ladies bags and similar item. It is quite cheap and looks ok. I have bought a few items, hope it lasts.
city villa 2”
City Villa Hotel Kuala Lumpur is a clean and ok hotel to stay for short duration. Rooms are ok, but the reception is not very responsible. this time we asked if we can have a room facing the twin towers, and he said if we wait for 2 hrs, we'll be able to get one. we came back after spending 2 hrs outside in disgusting hot weather, and he says, sorry not available.
Our Pre X-mas Stay at City Villa Hotel 2008”
My stay with my wife at City Villa Hotel is in general satisfying. It is accesible to the highway and near the Chowkit railway station. The Hotel is basically clean and tidy and the hotel staff were accomodating and can speak and understand english well.
value for money”
The hotel is strategically located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Convenient for tourists who like to see the city centre on foot, particularly shopping at the street stalls selling a large array of goods ranging from garment to other household utensils. The hotel room is reasonably clean and value for money. However, the environment surrounding the hotel is rather unsuitable for those who wish to enjoy the tranquility and serenity of the place they stay.
A Good Budget Hotel”
Well to start with, me and my wife after lot of research and findings got this hotel through Agoda.com and we thank Agoda for this. One should not expect high class service from the hotel as it is a 3star. The price per night was For people who have intentions of travelling/roaming around full day in malaysia and just come back to have a good sleep at night in a hotel room which should be within the budget then City Villa is a good choice. We had got a room having view of Petronas which looked amazing at night. The hotel staff was kind enuf to help and rooms were clean. The bathroom is too small but we didnt mind. The place around the hotel is too crowded and very difficult to park your car. Food in City Villa we cannot comment as due to high price we didnt have food there. There are food joints, small shops all around. There is Chow Kit mono rail/metro station at a walking distance from hotel. There is a very reasonable restaurant managed by Indians(south) nearby the hotel. Herein you can have your breakfast, lunch dinner which is quite cheap price and good food. Especially for those who are vegetarian this is will be a good joint. Overall we would recommend this hotel in category of low price/budget hotel.
Good location, Good Value and Rooms OK too”
I am getting to be a regular at this hotel. The market near by, the food stalls and the proximity to Kampung Bahru and Chow kit make it a great place for shopping and eating. The hotel is good value for money. Not luxurious but better than many in its price range.
Good but not The Best”
This hotel is situated in a good location particularly for the tourist who wants a standard living condition withing a minimum cost. Though the air conditioning is not so good but still it was not problematic for me and my family. Moreover it gives a very beautiful view of Twin Towers specially from our room (1316). This location offers tourist easy access to all sort of food specially indian and Bangladeshi type food which was very essential for my wife and kid. I can say that I am happy with my hotel booking in City Villa Hotel.
the best location & cozy room”
they upgraded me to an executive room since they ran out of standard ones for no extra charge. the room is new and extremely clean. the best spot to stay for people that like to visit both "ladies market" & "temple street" because the hotel is within walking distance. less than 1 minute walk to mtr station. personaly, i will stay in this hotel again in my next visit.
Strategic place ”
Near to monorail chowkit and city.
Great location and resonable price”
i stayed in this hotel for around 5 days where i found that the place is very close to the metro (500 metre away maximum) the hotel was not very clean but the price is valuabe for the hotel, the room was fine for 3 star hotel, the only one thing is the toilet where the plumbing is floading but it was fince
Great Back-packers, Get-away place to stay”
I love the stay I had here in this hotel. Though it may not be the best around, it's price met my budget, the counter staff were warm and registration was pretty fast. The room condition is old, BUT most importantly, its Clean and cosy. I stayed at the 13th floor, overlooking the view of KLCC. The walls between the rooms are not very thick, which explains the noise coming from my next room as it's a family with kids staying in there, but after about 11pm, all is quiet and nice. I truly enjoyed my 'single' trip adventure, will definitely come back again to this place if I'm traveling to KL again on my own.
Good Quality Hotel with this budget price”
Citty villa hotel is good budget hotel. The outlook and even the room is not bad. I like the view outside room windows. The hotel is not so dirty and room as well. Besides, the room has big enough space even this is budget hotel. At night, the hotel surrounding got night market. We can go there and shop but is a bit crouded. Overall, i like this hotel and i will go again and need thanks Agoda can help us find such good budget hotel.
KL Trip 2010”
City Villa hotel is nice hotel for budget range travelers in KL. I like this hotel because of it is worth of value and the staffs are nice. the room was clean. the only problem is the hotel located in a very crowded location. I like the hotel and next time when i will come to kl, will stay in this hotel.
City Villa Review”
the hotel is quite convenience for those who want to have a day shopping surroundings chow kit and for those who are having business deal surrounding chow kit and jalan semarak. my stay for that day was because of some deal with utm. it was about 10 minutes drive from the hotel. room was ok. i would give 7/10. however there was no kettle provided. every time you needed then you have to call the hotel. the location of the hotel i would classified as strategic. you can have verities of food within a walking distance. the best out of all is the hotel’s staff they are very kind.
Nice and strategic location”
I stay at this hotel often. This is because i like the night life around the hotel. Very easy for me to find food even in the middle of the night. Car park also free for hotel guest. So I don't have to think about car park rate because I go meeting by Monorail located just a few step from hotel.
Everything as Expected, great place”
The hotel interior is a bit old, but the rooms and bathroom are clean. The staff are friendly. Many shops around the hotel and restaurant so should be a good choice. Highly recommeded for budget travelers
my first day in kl”
we arrived at the hotel at bout 2am, the hotel staff already noticed that our late arrival, got us a fast check in so that we can have a good rest. But the only things that bothered us is, there is no kettle for us to boil hot water, i had to call up reception to get my flask filled with hot water..and yet it was 2.30am..but luckily the kind staff willing to help.
Good hotel with friendly staff”
good experience of staying at city villa. got more, what i have paid.would like to stay again in my next trip.
You pay what you get”
For less than RM150, I was given a single room, ensuite, which came with a queen bed. It was spacious. The room was old, but the bed was decent. The bathroom is rundown, and the water that came out was yellowish. I am not complaining as the price was very cheap considering the room and the location. They also have adequate parking space. The other downside is the road is very busy and filled with pedestrians and streethawkers, so navigating through the crowds to get to the carpark is challenging. Considering the price, I will most likely book the room again as my past experience with other budget hotels were much worse.
