Traveling to India? Find Ahmedabad hotels

We booked 2 superior rooms near to each other When we arrived front desk I found the front desk busy answering phones kept us waiting n waiting forever I had to complain this then I got attention service was poor for Hyatt name if Top end it sucks they better train staff next they gave us 2 very tiny small rooms with twin beds when we placed superior King they try n peddle us 2 small twins n rooms far apart I complained as a long standing Hyatt aficionado n club member, they finally moved us to a deluxe size not even superior size asking me Rs 2000 each extra which I adamantly refused After 2 hours of wait in tiny rooms we moved but they didn't help us with bellboy to move our baggages I had to go twice down in lobby same guy who promised kept saying sorry I strongly feel Hyatt should evaluate the licence to Ahmedabad Hyatt they are just not interested in customer comforts or pleasant stay also when ask for nearby Mall they gavebys wrong information n advise when it was closed at 9 pm they told us it was Open til 10:30pm overall the management needs retraining the rest if staff front office n support staff better be overhauled or I'm sure a western visitor like myself will leave Hyatt in droves I guess it's a isolated case Ahmedabad has bad staff or lack of training learn from Raddison Blu also they charged us for breakfast when it was included in our payment already I just wanted to pay n get out from this bad experience at Hyatt Ahmedabad

I used to stay at Le Meridien considers that is the only hotel in Ahmedabad ranked 4 stars. But I try not to stay at Le Meridien because it is a bit old and run down. I found Lemon Tree Hotel thanks to Agoda.com, it is the most amazing hotel I ever stay in India. The hotel is new, thus it is clean. The highlight is, the owner really spent lots of time on collecting jokes! I have taken many of it with my digital camera! Staffs are lovely. Food are excellent! Breakfast is Ok but if you don't like the local Indian breakfast you always can opt for break and butter! Overall, Lemon Tree is a good hotel for business traveller and I will definitely go back again. By the way, did I mention it is twice cheaper than Le Meridien?

It was our first anniversary being parents. It was a very hot summer here and we thought of spending weekends in a resort in city itself. We found a very good deal on Agoda for Narayani Heights and booked it. The hotel is excellent with specious rooms, smart interiors and very good cleanliness. The entire staff is very friendly and cooperative. If you will ask for any amenity in the resort, the staff will personally escort you to the place. Entire staff starting from cleaners to bell boy to front desk staff, staff in restaurant and cafe, all are very much trained as per 5 start hotel. We had food at their indoor restaurant and cafe. Breakfast is awesome in the cafe. I would strongly recommend to choose this property for weekend or even official stay at Ahmedabad. Its very near to Ahmedabad airport.

Hotel stay is cheaper in Ahmedabad as compared to other cities. But that does not reflect any laxity in services provided by the chain. Infact, room will provide you more than you could have thought of. Large spacious room with separate dressing, bathing and toilet areas. Location is not very far from Airport and Ola/ Uber is available for travelling to nearby locations/ business areas (hotel is away from city centre). Food was great. Since it was a business travel, relaxation facilities like spa was not availed. Overall a great stay with well trained courteous staff.

Very friendly and professional staffs from Reception, Breakfast venue , Room Services through Housekeeping. Room is very clean and tidy. They did very great memorable experiences and smile once enter to the room in the evening daily. I lost my earing somewhere that i did not notices but it was on the working table once we came back from outside.Housekeeping was very honest and care for us very much. Be back again next holiday.

When I review a hotel, I look at the price I paid. For the price I paid, this hotel really exceeded my expectation. First, it was a big building and the lobby was spacious. Second, services were good. Mr. Danish gave me a warm welcome and good services. The hotel informed me beforehand that they were in the process of upgrading the WIFI and renovation. So they gave me a router with a SIM card. I had not problem at all. The room was nice for the price I paid and I was happy with the dinner as well. Because it was really good value for my money, I will use this hotel again when I come back to Ahmedabad.

This is a decent hotel offering excellent facilities to its guests. Situated at a good location, in the heart of Ahmedabad, it has easy access to all parts of the city. The entire hotel is very well-maintained with good cleanliness in the rooms and hallways. The rooms were big in size with comfortable beds and a work table. All the staff were well-mannered and courteous. Buffet breakfast at the restaurant had a good spread. There is metro construction work going on in the road, where this hotel is located, so we were not able to locate the hotel right-away. This is a good value-for-money option to stay in the central part of the city. Staying at this hotel surpassed my expectations.

I stayed at Fortune landmark for 2 days during my business trip. Location is very good, centre of the city, yet a bit calm. Room was pretty clean and felt spacious, with nice furnishings. Staff(Lalji, Pranila, Abhijeet, Banie) are very courteous, always smiling and ready to go a step ahead to help guests. I happened to meet the hotel front desk manager Mr. Ghansham, he is extremely approachable and was ready to do anything to make my stay comfortable. I have no clue about their food thouugh as I didn''t eat in hotel. Would go back to this hotel any day whenever I visit Ahmedabad.

taj ahmedabad is a very nice and convenient hotel. it is located just outside the airport and takes hardly 5 minutes to reach after coming out. overall ambiance and room is quite good and clean. staff is friendly and goes an extra mile to support. only drawback i can think of is the mattress. may be it is too soft for some people and needs a change to modern mattress system in my view. still it is okay and cannot be labeled bad.

Staff very polite and friendly. Except manager no one else speaks English but they can manage. Cleanliness was ok. Manager was very friendly and helpful too. All items were available for the stay. Spacious room. Complimentary water, soap & Newspaper was provided everyday. They itself called asked and delivered breakfast to the room if you are late. Housekeeping was good. Perfectly value for money. Overall a good stay. Would recommend even for couples and family. However the bed SIDE cushions were not clean and upto standard also pillow covers and towels were not white as it should be. Overall yet i would give a 5 star rating in total for the hotel stay. Use uber or ola to travel around is much easier even the auto's you can direct them with map and they would use metre. 100% Recommended hotel.

Very good hotel in central location near river. Room was big, clean and well equipped. In bathroom was even both bath and shower as well. In room was big sitting area, fridge and very comfortable bed with fresh linen. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. They helped us with money exchange while was money crisis due to reform around in India. Also we rent a hotel’s car with driver per reasonable price for day trip to Gandhinagar and other places (Akshardham Temple is worth to visit!). There was the best complimentary breakfast what we ever had in India with big chose. They served Indian and continental food, fruits, juices and many other options. In general their restaurant was excellent, we also took a dinner there and stayed very satisfied. The personal was friendly and attentive, they even gave as couple of Indian desert for trying on the house. Thanks to everybody. We really suggest this hotel if you are in Ahmedabad!!!

The hotel room, toilet and bathroom are all clean. The staff are helpful with all of your needs. I just hope the breakfast will improve and will have international selection because there is not much choices. The staff is the best reason to return, I will try again this hotel (1 night booking first) on my next trip to Ahmedabad, but if the breakfast they serve will be the same and no International selection. Then, I will book my second night and other visits at other hotels.

Starottel is a good hotel located on Ashram Road on the banks of Sabarmati river. It is aptly located to commute to the newer parts of Ahmedabad as well as the old city across the river. Few must see places like the Gandhi Ashram, Juma Masjid of Ahmedabad, etc. are not very far from the hotel. One can easily hire a autoriskshaws from the gates of the hotel. Even the staff can assist for the same. Cleanliness is better than most of the hotels I have stayed previously in Ahmedabad. The restaurant food is good however seems a bit overcharged. The pool located on the terrace gives a great view of the city. They have a gym too at the rooftop, however I didn't get a chance to use it. Airport Transfers are available but are not free/complimentary. The rooms facing the river have beautiful view of the Sabarmati river. The staff are accommodating and helpful. I liked their customer-service attitude. Especially the Front Office Manager, Mr. Surya Pratap. Working in the hospitality industry, I couldn't help but notice F&B Manager around the restaurant during the breakfast time, which is good to check the efficiency of his staff. However, I would suggest that he should also ones in awhile walk to a guest table, be pleasant and seek their comments, otherwise his presence will just overwhelm the staff and intimidate the guests. It just a suggestion. Overall, it was a good stay & would recommend the hotel to all the future travelers to Ahmedabad.

The hotel is pretty good being in a Budget. The rooms were very clean and spacious.The bathroom was well maintained too. It does not give you a feel of a budget hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful. You get a free breakfast with the stay. The hotel is close to Sabarmati Riverfront Road and is close to shopping streets like Relief road.It is close to Ahmedabad Railway Junction as well. It you want to stay in a good hotel in a Budget, look no further.

We had 3 rooms booked. I got only one room through Makemytrip so I booked 2 more from other site. First good things about hotel, 1. Location is good just near Balvatica entrance of Kankaria Lake 2. Room Service staff is good. Takes a bit time to serve but its OK 3. Rooms are good size and bad has springs so depending your choice comfort level may change. We found it OK but my parents were not satisfied. 4. We were allowed to keep one room beyond the checkout time. 5. Its quite hotel as windows are sound proof Now about the not so good part 1. Breakfast was worst which we had in anh hotels so far. under coked or dry idlis, dosa were not good as may be some problem with batter (combination of ingredient or quality), dry sandwitches, uttapam were not ok, paratha more oil. Quantity of food was very less in container. 2. Room service were not having adequate towels or hand towels so at times hand towels not provided and Towels were given in late evening. 3. Wifi is very slow. 4There room rents are 30 to 40% higher than Hotel booking sites. We wanted to extend stay by a day they didn't match hotel booking sites. 4. There is no good restaurant nearby. As our experience was not good with breakfast we didn't tried their restaurant. 5. Wifi was terrible. 6. Every time you go out you need to activate your key. It is near marriage hall so daily new guest will check in. Its good if you are staying there to attend marriage at other's expense.Over all experience was average. Over all experience was average.
