Where to stay in Aitutaki
Aitutaki hotels & accommodations
Best views of the lagoon over any other hotel in Aitutaki. Overwater bungalow is great if you can find a deal (they are expensive). Service was wonderful. Large continental breakfast spread with optional a la carte egg dishes. Fun Island Night crab race and island culture show!
Beautiful resort in a beautiful location. The villas are stunning, everything you need to be happy and comfortable. The staff couldn’t be any lovelier, you really feel they go the extra mile and make you feel very welcome. Aitutaki is a beautiful island, very expensive but I think this is the best accommodation on the island and would thoroughly recommend it.
Wonderful place with a superb location in Paradise! Situated right on a wonderful beach. I would recommend visitors to rent a scooter, as distance to grocery stores and restaurants could be a challenge in the heat. I would love to come back and stay here again, even the bungalows are a bit basic and A/C and the average internet costs quite a bit.
As long as you understand Aitutaki and its limitations and appeal, then take this on board. Seaside is remote, private, quiet ( even the local wild cat was a nice touch) and isolated. Understand this if you book because if you expect luxury, service, things to do in place for you etc etc, then you'll be sadly disappointed because at this place it is up to you to make y...
Location is amazing. Best location to stay on aitutaki in my opinion. restaurant is not cheap, but food is excellent. Always go the fish. easy to organise tours to one foot island. accommodation is basic, but clean. Pricey for what it is, but not out of line with the Cook islands in general. Very relaxing stay.
If you are looking for quiet island perfection...this is it. Susan the GM is wonderful and her staff are the nicest not only on the island but better than any I've encountered. I love this place!
I stayed during low season (arriving on Christmas) so the island itself was quiet with tourists but filled with islanders coming home for the holiday. Tutai picked me up at the airport and made sure I had everything I needed (including food and transport) even though many businesses were closed. My stay at Gina’s was a gift.
