Where to stay in Aizuwakamatsu
Aizuwakamatsu hotels & accommodations
This hotel is really near the Aizuwakamatsu Train station so it is very convenient. Behind the hotel there is a minimarket which you can buy groceries or food at very cheap price. There is an onsen behind the hotel too. Nearby are some restaurant which serve good yakitori! (BBQ chicken and meat) Have been using this hotel for years so i would recommend this to other...
Close proximity to the train station Impeccably clean Japanese-style room for three people was spacious and futons were comfortable Attentive staff Staff gladly called a day ahead and made a taxi reservation to the train station for my family of six Japanese-style breakfast was delicious
In a city full of history, this hotel is very easy to find on the main road from the train station and only a few minutes walk. I have stayed here twice and both rooms were very quiet and clean. One of the best value for money hotels I have used in Japan (out of 70).
Lovely ryokan in Aizuwakamatsu. Really great staff and super helpful. Delicious breakfast and overall very nice accommodation. Would stay again if I travel back to the area.
All the rooms have a beautiful view over a small river and the trees covering the opposite side of the valley. The night was splendidly quiet. The room was large and comfortable . The rotenburo have a view on a small fall. The staff did not speak english but they were able to communicate all necessary informations, in particular the lady at the excellent breakfast, who...
I stayed here with a friend for one night. Not much English is spoken here, no Internet in the room (only wi-fi connection is in the lobby) and it is a very long journey to get to the hotel! We missed the only-once-a-day hotel shuttle bus from Aizuwakamatsu Station so we thought of taking a taxi from Ashinomakionsen Station which is the nearest station to the hotel. Wh...
I reserved a room with non-smoking but hotel gave me a smoking room. Room so smelly
The stay was great. The hotel is huge and largely catered to Japanese, probably because it was not a well-known tourist location. The shuttle service helped because the hotel was a little out of the way but it is still not very convenient considering we had a few luggages between us. The hotel is a couple of bus stops away from the train station. We had fun at the br...
The friendliness of the owner family and the heritage they keep in running this Ryokan makes you coming back. It’s easy to get there by car, otherwise slightly harder. It has its own onsen, but the neighborhood has a lot of top notch onsens if you prefer more fancy facilities. Breakfast was typically ryokan style. Twonlical restaurants provide you with enough delicious...
I feel at home with hi-speed internet and clean design. I like public bathroom. For skiing on several mountain steps and historical city, I recommend this hotel. Easy by walk to see the beautiful castle. You will like to take the train with mountain view and easy to take the train to visit the large lake at Inawarashiro city and suitable for skiing in winter.
Poor quality.
This was one of my favorite hotels from my last trip to Japan! I highly recommend it to anyone in the Aizuwakamatsu Area! Not too expensive but very nice and welcoming and they had someone that was fluent in English! I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend!!
