Ayla Bawadi Hotel
Al Ain,Al Ain - View on map
"Due to the nature of my job (I am a tour manager), over the years I have stayed in many hotels, either for business or for pleasure. I have seen many excellent hotels and many not too good ones. Ayla Bawadi Hotel was excellent. Quick check-in and check-out with friendly staff. Room was spacious with modern design. Clean. Bed was very comfortable and finally I found a hotel that has big pillows as I prefer those. Swimming pool on the roof was very nice, especially as I had a 3-year-old child travelling with me. She enjoyed it. Good selection of food for breakfast. The location though isn't great if you don't have your own wheels. It is not in the centre of Al Ain but few kilometers south, just next to Bawadi Mall (with great shopping opportunities). But I had a car so no problem there. I guess the walk-in price is a bit high but I booked this hotel months in advance and got excellent price. Would love to stay here again when in Al Ain."

Danat Al Ain Resort
Al Ain,Al Ain - View on map
"Overall, I think this is one of the best hotels in Al Ain at a price "not that much higher" than a lot of other inferior hotels. While Danat Al Ain is on the older side, the rooms are still spacious, the beds are still comfortable, and the property is great. There are multiple pools, a large and uncrowded outdoor area, fitness equipment, and several on site restaurants. The staff at reception were all very polite and helpful. As long as the price stays in the current range, I would stay at Danat al Ain any time I am in town. "

Radisson Blu Hotel and Resort Al Ain
Al Ain,Al Ain - View on map
"From the moment we checked in it was clear to see that the staffs number one aim was to go above and beyond to welcome its guests. From the pool lifeguards, room cleaners, concierge, check in staff and all the restaurant staff including the chef, waitresses and waiters as well as the management - they all made an effort to welcome us and any requests we had. A hotels staff can make or break a holiday and the Raddison certainly delivers. Combine this with all the facilities offered it makes a great hotel for a relaxing break in Al Ain. "

Ayla Grand Hotel
Al Ain,Al Ain - View on map
"Al-Ain is very spread out. We had a car, so in the end where to stay became less relevant based on location, as we knew we would need to drive everywhere to see some of the attractions anyway. Ayla wasn't particularly close to any of the places where we wanted to visit but that wasn't crucial. The hotel itself, food options and parking were. Therefore Ayla ticked all our boxes. It was reasonably priced compared to other Al Ain options yet had very good standards. Clean, touches of class and a very comfortable room standard. The TV channels were among the best of many hotels I have ever been to too, with so many film channels in English. My wife and I spent hours at night watching great Hollywood movies! The pool was compact but nice and the gym, excellent for a hotel standard. It was a big, big plus that there was free underground parking (get the car out of the sun!) and never a problem to get a good parking space. The hotel is opposite a decent mall, with all the obvious food choices that kids could go for. It was a pretty decent mall in fact - large enough to shop and wander in and had entertainment etc there too. Al Ain is not blessed with as many hotel options as Dubai and Abu Dhabi, so for me, Ayla should be near the top of the list of options (at the price we got). We certainly would stay here again."

"quite a considerate staff. we stayed twice in 0ne week. each visit we had to request "late departure" of 4pm and they complied without any fuss. hotel is on the busy road . noisy when outside but amazingly tranquil once inside your room. probably stayed there 8 times in 4 years and never had cause to compare it with any other hotel in al ain."

Aloft Al Ain

"I went there for a week-end with a friend. We loved the decoration of the room which is modern, far from kitschy hotel I used to go in Abu Dhabi or Dubaï. The place were quiet, we slept very well. The staff at the reception, the bar at the pool and the "Olive Tree" restaurant were very nice, helpful and welcoming. Cocktails were good, and desserts were amazingly tasteful and refined. The breakfasts were also fine. The swimming pool has a very nice view on Al An and the Jebel Hafeet. Other good point: the music at the restaurant, swimming pool and bar was pleasant and not too noisy, we were able to chat without speaking louder. "

Telal Resort Al Ain
Remah,Al Ain - View on map
"Came to Telal with my niece for an overnight trip and we were looking for a little culture and authenticity outside of Dubai. So glad we came across telal as an option. The resort is 1/2 hour before you enter al ain coming from Abu Dhabi- and nestled in the desert about 20 Minutes from the main highway. The reception and restaurant buildings are under a huge tent that makes you feel like you're entering a befouling camp. Our room was beautifully decorated with the colors and textures of te Arab world but with modern amenities- flat screen tv, huge soaking tub etc. Open the door and our room opens right into the desert- we managed to wake up and watch the sun rise over the desert while drinking tea in our pajamas! The breakfast was delicious with different and plentiful options. Although the resort is remote and quiet, there are many interesting activities to do. We rode bikes, took a camel ride and had an archery lesson- -all before lunch! Then relaxed at the pool. Great trip!"
