"I stayed here because the review stated "10". it should have stated "7" and thats a stretch. STAFF: Check-in was a kind gentlemen, Check out was a VERY RUDE woman who acted as if she was in jail being forced to work! For this reason alone i wouldnt stay again for free! ROOMS: Dated but adequate except the walls are paper thin...you will hear EVERYTHING outside in the hall and the rooms next to you. FREE BREAKFAST: Good. I work in Hospitality and the young woman's attitude alone ruined what was already a mediocre stay."

"I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Amelia Island. You can park in the lot or across the street in another lot. They have plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. They are literally around the corner from the tourist information center. Go in and ask for Pam. She will provide you with a wealth of information on things to do. Hampton Inn has frees breakfast which is just ok. The ladies working were very nice. The hotel desk hummmm. Upon arrival due to my flight I was really early so the room wasn't ready. I left my name and name so they could call (which they never did). I returned at 2pm and I saw them checking in a couple hummmmmm. I went to the desk and she called and my room received a final check and I was given the key. The front desk staff don't greet people as they come and go. They will actually sit to the right out of view. I noticed this when I came back in the evenings. Housekeeping service was really good thanks Tawanda."

"There is so much to do for kids. The splash pad was great for my toddler and with the family pool we never felt like we were bothering anybody. Facilities were clean and beautiful. Only complaint is the F&B are pretty expensive and you need to rent chairs on the beach (so we never spent time there). Would definitely go back, but next time would grab groceries to stock the hotel mini fridge. "
