Where to stay in Amman
Amman hotels & accommodations

The hotel was good, staff we welcoming. Overall I enjoyed my stay in Amman. However, we arrived early at the hotel and to do early check in we were initially asked to pay a full nights price. This by itself is not an issue, the confusing part is that the hotel informed me that I received a call from Agoda to confirm all the rules(which is not the case) I was never con...

To start with, the location of the Hotel is fantastic; in the Amman Boulevard! The interiors and the design of the Hotel is Fantastic. The view from the room is amazing. The service of the staff is of next level service; they treat you like real Guests; keep following up each and everything - starting from reception to guest service to housekeeping to room service!! ...

The non-smoking floor was definitely smoke scent free. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Breakfast is good. If you are booking with airport pick up, on arrival at Amman Airport your name could not be mentioned on the paper, just look for Bristol Hotel logo and show your airport pick up reservation to the driver.

My wife and me were really delighted and surprised by the kindness and help of all the hotel staff. Really professional and showed the good Jordan hospitality. The breakfast was very good , it is more than money for service value, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for business or leisure hotel in Amman.

This hotel is the best hotel in Amman. Good location, in walking distance to several restaurants and on active street. Staff is very nice . Breakfast and food is very good: well prepared and the buffet has a verity of types. I will come again for a longer stay

This hotel is a really good hotel, I have stayed in many hotels in Amman but this hotel ranks one of the top for me. The people were extremely friendly and they were able to provide us a top quality service even though the hotel was fully booked. I highly reccommend and there breakfast is a must

We had a very comfortable 1 night stay in amman. Hotel is nestled on a hill, opposite a very small boys school and next door to a quirky modern restaurant. The call to prayer can be heard creating an atmospheric environment. Great base to visit the citadel and roman theatre and navigate downtown amman. I would recommend this for a short, easy, welcoming and comfortable...

Very nice reception staff, always friendly and happy to solve any problem you might have. Breakfast in the hotel was delicious- one of the best we had during our stay in Jordan. Our room was comfy, spacious and quiet. Althought the hotel is not right in the old town, you can get there by taxi within 10mins for about 1.50JOD. Taxi' s are cheap in Amman and there is alwa...

Though I had stayed just for one night but still I enjoyed my stay very much. Room was very spacious with king-size bed, separate sitting arrangement, washing machine and kitchenette. Toilet was clean with fresh towels saps and shampoo. You get wi-fi too. It is attended by the receptionist for 24 hours and no problem if you come late.. in fact i returned at about 4...

Good quality Sanitary wares and Shower design basics is the same for that of 5 star Hotels. Location is next to many important facilities: 1.hypermarket 24 Hrs opened, 2. Bus station to go to Betra and other parts of Jordan and, 3. Swefiea (صويفية) Community , & Nafeesa Sweets (نفيسة) 4. 12 minutes from a Masjid, 5. next to Airport road.

The Kempinski is located in the city center (Shmeisani) which makes it a good place to stay if you are a traveler looking for easy access to cafes and shopping. The public spaces of the hotel feature a lot of polished granite and glass, which gives the hotel a sleek but cold atmosphere. The rooms themselves feel warm and comfortable, decorated in reds and blues, with...

We were there for 2 nights, a little lower then what I expected (compared to the photos posted in AGODA). Anyway, room was quite small but comfortable enough. Actually my biggest problem was driving my way in-out of Amman city and finding my destinations. On my second day, breakfast was serve a little late, we were in the dining room, but the lights were not even fully...

Hotel is in a great location, close to a lot of great restaurants in the Second Circle and 10 mins walk to Rainbow St. The room was comfortable and I slept well. The pool is a good size with a great relaxing terrace area. Breakfast was ok; there were a lot of choices, could be a little tastier but it was good enough to start the day. There are free laundry machines (yo...

Once you get to the hotel you will be really disappointed in the way you are treated by the staff. No one carried our bags, they had only one trolley for us to carry our own bags and put them on it and then take it to our rooms. The lady who was working on the check in counter, while she did her job, did not smile once. Something very normal in Amman I'm told. The roo...

This was the best hotel (value for $) we stayed in all of Jordan. What a find! Affordable, modern (newly renovated), comfortable, spacious, clean and the authentic breakfast on the top floor with city views was a wonderful treat and a great way to start the day! The staff were very professional and the manager was very kind and helpful to us. We would definitely recom...

The hotel is located is a quite hill which is quickly accessible from the main road. The hotel staff is really very attentive. The pickup from and to the airport is recommendable. I did not have to wait at all. Perfect timing. A little inconvenience with the heating in the room was solved immediately. Food, cleanliness and room comfort as well as free wifi round the qu...

Right in the heart of downtown Amman, plenty of food and souvenir shopping nearby. Hotel provided a simple breakfast that was sufficient to fuel your day. However, our room faced the main road and it was noisy into past midnight. Luckily my brother and I brought earplugs which helped. Our room was not cleaned throughout our 3 night stay, not sure if we had to give...

The Gardenia was a delight for me. There's nothing fancy about it, but all the basics are there and to a good standard. The size of the room was more than adequate, the bed was very comfortable, and there are TV channels in English, albeit the general news channels. Bottles of free water are provided daily, and there is a fridge in the room with a choice of fruit jui...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Conroy Boutique Hotel on 3 separate occasions over my recent 2 week trip to Jordan. I can confidently say each stay was better than the one before it. Not only was the front desk staff SUPER helpful with any questions or issues that we had, they were also very friendly and had no problems checking in on us to see if we were doing we...

Ive been to alot of hotels in the Amman Area, this is one of the best ones. Great stay from beginning to end. Breakfast every morning was nice. The hotel itself is beautiful, updated and most importantly clean. Nice sitting area outside and really great staff service. I highly recommend. Mall located right behind hotel, shopping and restaurants all on the same block.
Cheap places to stay in Amman

I took a chance booking this hotel as there were some negative comments online: they were wrong. It's a great place if you don't mind clean, a bed, and a bathroom. There are other room options if you want to save money. The breakfast is huge and filling (but never changes). The location is central & can't be beat. But the best thing is the manager and the staff. Hany ...

The hostel has perfect location, in the centre of downtown with every major landmark nearby. The staff was super nice and helpful, and very accomodating. The rooms and toilets are also clean and tidy. You can find one of the most economical tours over here as well, for almost every destination in Jordan. will definitely come to cliff hostel if I ever visit jordan ...

The location is perfect. You can walk to main attractions in Amman and good foods are everywhere. Ali was super helpful. Help me and others to arrange our trips to Petra-Wadi Rum-Dead sea-Jerash .If you are traveling solo, this is the place where you want to stay. I will Definitely come back again for sure. Thanks Ali for all.

I highly recommend The Boutique Hotel in Amman. I arrived as a solo traveler who had never been to Jordan, and the staff here have made my transition to Jordan smooth and hassle-free. Nestled in the heart of downtown/City Center in Amman, the hotel is a block or less from some of Amman's best restaurants, including Hashem, Al Quds, Jafra, Umsiat, and Habiba Sweets, a...

A very nice hostel in downtown Amman. We got a twin room with private bathroom. Agoda overbooked and didnt inform us us but luckily the hostel cancelled the other persons booking. The room was good for the cheap price. Breakfast was simple but nice. Very helpful manager. Walking distance to downtown Amman, citadel, romsn ampitheatre, museums etc. Nice to have AC for a...

Hands down, best hostel in Amman. I've stayed in several, and the cleanliness and atmosphere here are on par with the best of jordan. i stayed here with a friend in between apartments. Remarkably comfortable beds and daily room cleaning -- none of the smells one comes to expect from most budget options in Jordan. Yes, the street can be loud, but it's Downtown Amman -- ...

Okay it is noisy, but this is downtown Amman and the honking of car horns on the roads outside seems at time constant. I slept great though. Earplugs are a wonderful invention. You'd have to camp in the Roman Theatre to get closer. The Citadel is above the hotel and a pleasant (as long as you don't do it during the hottest parts of the day) walk from and/or to there. A...

We enjoyed our stay at Zaman Ya Zaman and returned when we came back to Amman. The staff are very helpful and are able to assist with arrangements for many types of tours/transports/food suggestions/cultural information etc. We had fantastic advice from Kaleem and great support Fadi, and the others. Service for breakfast was also awesome. The location is perfect, direc...

mans the front desk and was very helpful directing me to SIM card vendors, ATM machines, a liquor store, and all the other places I needed to visit. The principal tourist sites are close at hand. There are fast food shops and one sit-down restaurant immediately available. It is a 5 minute walk to City Center and its large selection of eateries. I even was able t...

The first room we were taken to wAs a 1 bedroom apartment with only 3 single beds. I told the person that I think we are being shown the wrong room, as I've booked a 2 bedroom apartment-large upon which we were referred to the actual apartment that I've booked on Agoda.com. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. It was close to small shops for essential purchases....

It fulfilled all expectations of budget travellers. Align with a lot of travellers heading for Jordan, my main target was Petra, therefore Amman was just an overnight stop. Orient Prince serves the purpose of a simple overnight stay well, staff and boss were all very friendly and one immediately feels warm and welcome, it's a home away from home. Rooms were pretty stan...

The hotel was very clean and the people there very friendly and eager to help. The part of Amman where the hotel is, is perfect for a stay in the city. Even if it's very close to Downtown (around 30 min by foot) and Jabal al-Hussein (great for shopping!) it's surprinsingly quiet and safe at night. Right around the hotel are also the most necessary things for travelle...

Even though the facility might not be in the best shape other things like price and location made it worth living there. We booked for 1 night but in the end we stayed for 4 nights just because we liked it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we asked about things they solved it on the spot. For example towels, and fixing the toilet. The apartment was very ...

I choose this hotel because i needed a 2 room bedroom and the price is not as expensive. Even though it was a bit old but that can replace with the helpfulness of the staff. They can't speak English well but at least we understand each other and they want to help us with happiness face and joyful. Breakfast is serve to our room so we can eat in our room. Also it is nea...

The place is in an older section of Amman on a side street of the true address. It was smokey, very dirty, and everyone from outside to in could be heard throughout the night. The linen had not be changed for several guests as there was multiple hairs on the linens and not the long kind, the floors were never swept and the owner called at 1120 at night to see if I n...

The location of the guesthouse was great, just a street off the Second Circle and a few minutes walk away from 1st Circle and Rainbow Street. This wasn't my first time in Amman, so all I needed was a room, I didn't need room services or much really. I didn't see much of the staff, which wasn't a problem for me, but if you needed anything, you could use the phone in you...

As the hotel is on the hill, the view was amazing even from the fourth floor, but it probably depends on the side your room will be. My room was very calm -- being a light sleeper, I usually can't have windows open due to street noise, but here it was fine. The worst noise was the "signing" seagulls. The style is quite interesting -- I liked the feeling of 1950's. Stil...

Since we get their they told us to wait until they prepare out room (two bedroom apartment) after 5 hours they told us to wait for 2 or 3 days until it will be free. Their stuff can't handle or satisfied guest, they told us to open a case in police station if we don't like to wait ??!!! I don't recommend anyone to reserve with them in future , I didn't check in hotel, ...

We came to the Ayass Hotel in Amman after a cold and dusty stay in petra and wadi rum so this 4 star hotel was a joy. We had an executive suite which was really spacious for the the 4 of us, it was clean but some surfaces needed a bit more dusting. Really large comfy bed. We had great service (greeted at the door.. Concierge.. Free spa treatment..) and children totally...

Useful starting point for sightseeing. The staff were really helpful especially in organizing a car with driver for sightseeing inside and out of Amman. Great location with easy access to the city centre and the airport. The hotel is clean and good value for money.

What stood out for me is the easy access to most of the places in Amman. It looks abit old but it’s okay for a couple who want a cheap hotel with a nice view to the city. I appreciate the upgrade they gave us. The bathrooms though are terrible, very tight and you can’t moce freely. Badly designed and AC isn’t great and fees like the room is dusty. I wish the windows c...

i stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my friends. i have to say the staff were fantastic, on the first night we arrived late and wanted some food. the staff called the local takeaway for us and ordered some food, which was delivered straight to our apartment door for a reasonable price. the room was very tidy and the bedrooms were lovely. each floor had its own wifi...

Booked my room through agoda, one of the cheapest options. Must say it was definitely value for money compared to other hotels in Amman. Good services and facilities, rooms are a bit old but more than adequate, free & fast Wi-Fi in the room more than made up for it. Air-conditioning/heater in my room was a bit on the warm side, so was happy that the window opened to le...

Situated about 4km from downtown Amman, just off the main highway from the airport, the Olive Tree is a convenient but quiet base from which to explore Amman itself. Staff offer a very warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. There is an large entrance lobby with plenty of comfortable seating as well as a small cafe. The restaurant is to the rear of this area and ...

This hotel is probably one of the best in Jordan without exaggeration. I was here a few nights with my wife and we enjoyed our stay with the best service. The staff, Lina among who helped me a lot, are genuinely nice and we even got to know Chef A'laa with his amazing platters. Room service was also prompt and exceptional.

I had a room facing the road, it was extremely noisy at night as the cars were passing with full accelerator and speed. I requested them to change my room but they refused me due to being fully booked. I know the noise was not from hotel, but the hotel windows and walls are not soundproof. I recommend you to request for room on other side.

Excellent interaction with the hotel personnel (although when I asked for a chair it came after 50 mins), awful Internet speed; yet, free into room as it was detailed in the reservation. The dinner was decent and with six huge, heated, elegant griddle plates (different every day), while the cons for the breakfast was the small, regular-hotel, packaged butters and marma...

If you looking for a truly remarkable hotel stay in Amman, the Le Vendome is your place. The lobby has an honest charm that only experienced in old Viennese Hotels before: huge curtains and chandeliers with spacious sofas and armchairs and also large marble tables. The staff is excellent as well, the receptionist sewed a button back to my suit at first. Then the othe...

Working for decades all over the world I have to admit that the Dana Plaza Hotel were one of the worth places I have ever stayed. 4 Stars? Hello guys! Where does it come from? If there would be something like minus 4 stars I would use it this time. There is NO service in this hotel! Customers are treated like an annoyance. I asked more than 4 times during 2 days if som...

Beginning of all thanks to receptions Mr. Hamza for his great effort, unfortunately the hotel did not deserve to be 4 stars may be 3. Second rooms were very dirty that included bed sheets, the pillows, the carpet and bathroom need serious maintenance. Third the room services they need more than 45 minutes to get to my room. As well, they will not clean until you ask...

The hotel advertises that it provides a whole range of facilities which in my experience were not available. A nice breakfast was provided, but there were no meals available at other times of the day, despite claiming it had 24-hour room service. The hotel advertises that the apartment has a fully-equipped kitchenette; there were a few (very few) assorted plates and bo...

My stay here started with them charging 15£ for a small brandy there were positives and negatives. Staff did everything we asked up to a point they were friendly but you could see £ signs in their eyes. The mosque across the road gave us a horrible wake up every morning at about 4.30 this is the loudest mosque speaker system I've ever heard and our ears were ringing. B...

By far the best stay of my life. This hotel is definitely in a class of its own. The quality of staff here is top notch and they really know how to treat their guests by going above and beyond. A nice hotel with very helpful staff and good breakfast. We tried the dinner in the same restaurant as the breakfast was served in, but weren’t impressed. Room felt smaller than expected. Even if it is said to be more than 70 sqm it does not feel that way. Bathroom is very big though. The kids were disappointed that the pool was not heated. Woke up early and went ...

Creown Plaza is a very good , popular, and busy hotel I Amman. I have stayed in Jordan many times, but this was my first at this hotel. However..the room itself was nice enough, and had aeverything i needed, including a trouser press..something I enjoy having in a hotel room. Hot Spot is a new sports bar in the hotel. It was a bit quiet on the nights I was there, but...

Stayed at the Landmark Hotel for 1 night during a business trip to Jordan. Very modern feel and clean rooms - and I received a lot of assistance from the hotel staff to ensure my frozen product samples were well taken care of. Professional staff who greet every guest they meet; and always keen to show me around Jordan by offering travel tips and advice.

We have business trip to amman and we were really enjoyed this trip. This hotel is good for family and for business trip. We have stayed for 3 night and we will come back in the future. Hotel food also good and delicious. the staff also friendly, polite and the room is very clean. If we have other trip to ammam we will book this hotel again

Make sure you also take a walk around downtown Amman, especially through the souqs. Very interesting and a great insight into Amman.
Amman is a friendly culturally diverse city. Great restaurants and shopping. Historic Citadel is a must see.
Amman city is not fully developed city but nice places you can find there in terms of touristic, most of the restaurant specially arabic food were excellent.
The city is nice with very friendly people - some of the not to miss attractions are the a) automotive museum (even if you are not a automobiles fan) b) Rainbow street - very vibrant and great cafes c) Kings Mosque
Quite an expensive place to travel. Especially the entrance fees to visit the cultural places. Roman Theatre and Roman Castle is a MUST visit place.
Amman is jordan and jordan is mixed of islam and kristian, and they live happily, whc is very good but when it comes to tribe from muslim(syia, sunni, alwiya etc) they are vicious and ready to kill each other, just see syria now.
Actually, Amman is not just the capital city. it has many things that you can visit and know its history background.
I was very impressed with the view in the morning and also local coffee shop which serve really delicous and strong coffee.
everything is not good. very bad.everything is not good. very bad.everything is not good. very bad.everything is not good.
Will never visit nor recommend for foreign tourist to visit any historical landmarks as the authority rip you off with entry fees, they charge almost 50 times more when you as foreigner enter than a Jordanian or Arad visitor ,
amman changed a lot in the last couple of years is not done now but will be quite modern and international, a step which is well needed to do
Amman is an old city with people likes to help you whatever they can. However, as the city is small, from time to time you will encounter traffic which is normal to any old city around the world.
many angery people extremly expensive city no value for mony you will be charged for any thing mostly in future they might consider tax on breathing I guess
crowded city every body is using his car horn for every thning noisy and hot in summer day summer sun is burning extremly expensive resturants and shops
We found Amman to be an intriguing city, very built up with high density living. We were very disappointed to see so much rubbish around the streets.
Amman is full of historical places, old shops, kind people, nice tourist spots and has preserved its culture.
Very nice people and great historical site. It will be enjoyable 1-2 days only, if stay more, need to find how enjoy this city.
The Citadel is literally and figuratively the highpoint of the visit. Find your way on foot up the winding staircases from the main street in front of the amphitheatre.
This city is huge with low rise buildings spread over the seven hills of Jordan. Unbelievable big. Thank goodness the taxis are inexpensive
Drive in Amman is a little difficult for a non-native, very crowded during peak hour, people are friendly.
