"I booked the room for my son as I was in the emergency room at UofM hospital. Upon his arrival I asked how was the room. He told me it needed to be updated and some of the molding at the baseboard was falling off. He stated the room had a funny odor to it. I have stayed in many hotels and at one point Days Inn was a favorite. I'm sad to say that for as much as I come to Ann Arbor this hotel will not be one of my first choices"

"It is a nice three star hotel, but shows it’s age a bit (looks like it was built in the 1980s). Ann Arbor is clearly a company town with the University of Michigan, so well suited for parents’ visit or alumni football weekend."

"The location is almost perfect! It's next door to a shopping center with Trader Joe's and some small restaurants and not more than three miles from the University of Michigan campus. Even if your confirmation shows that breakfast is "not included," it really IS included. Though it's not a gourmet experience, it's adequate to start the day. And they have abolished styrofoam dishes! Everything is clean and the staff are very pleasant people."

"Prices are too high all over Ann Arbor, but beware the other places that are significantly cheaper. They are not so clean or far from campus and the center of town. The Microtel is clean place with good breakfast. Quiet and short walk to Busch's and Plum Market. Very near to the Ann Arbor Ride buses and the UofM free bus runs. Unless it is 3AM, you don't need pricey taxis or Uber to go to or from the Microtel. "

"It was walkable to our destination but not to the downtown. Normally we stay down town at a B&B. The hotels downtown are quite a bit more than Weber's so if you don't mind a short drive, this is still a great spot! I think they still should be able to pull off a minimal breakfast with coffee and bagels etc. Overall, it is a great value for a quality hotel close to Ann Arbor."
