Where to stay in Asahi
Asahi hotels & accommodations
To visit Unazuki Onsen, Yukai Resort is a really good hotel. Quiet and good atmosphere. It is kind and I like the service. Especially breakfast is enough to satisfy the guests. However, it is regrettable that there is a slight smell even though it is non-smoking room and there is no sink in the room. However, the hot spring bath is good and the hot spring waters i...
Very close to the train station. Free onsen on the 2nd level of the hotel which is very good. Free ramen for supper past 930pm. Near many restaurants.
i really enjoy my time staying with apa hotel in uozu. room is quite spacious compare to what you can have across japan. plus, staff attitude toward customers is very friendly and warm. i really feel like i am a frequent customer in here.
nice staff, old furniture, clean, have carpark, will go again
it's so far from the town and so expensive
The hotel has public bath, onsen, washing machine and dryers which are very useful and reasonably priced. Hotel is located next to many eateries, fast food, convenient store and supermarket; all within 5 min walk. The walk to the nearest subway station is about 25min. I will definately stay in this hotel when I visit Japan again.
Stay was good, we stayed for a night. Was annoyed that we tried to change our booking from 5 to 4 pax, agoda said that the cost was the same! Ryokans in Japan generally charge per pax, Not by room, because cost includes a gourmet dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately it was close to date and we had no choice but to continue with this booking. For a high class ryokan th...
The staff is very kind and helpful. The room is a bit small but it is clean. The buffet breakfast is delicious. The view is great.
First stay in Hotel Togen. [Room]The room is facing to the Kurobe river and good view. Clean, cozy, bath room and toilet is separated. Nothing to mention the quality of the room. [Dining]They serve good dinner with finest sashimi quality and local beef, poke and veges. They serve Shiro-ebi (white shrimp) from Toyama gulf and it is so nice. The quantity of the meal is...
Good location just 5 minutes walk from Unazuki onsen station, Large sized hotel with complete facilities and impressive open-air bath, Various buffet-style dinner and breakfast, Hotel room with separate sections and beautiful riverview (Yamabiko bridges). Satisfied staff service.
This vintage hotel gave us the good experience in all aspects - incredible traditional food, room with a Japanese garden view and the most impressive thing was the service and staff’s hospitality.
Its a little old fashion but everything is in place in this hotel. The onsen is 24 hours and huge. the outdoor onsen is beautiful with rocks and I can imagine soaking in it and seeing the snow fall. However, its a little small as compared to the indoor onsen. The dinner and breakfast is fantastic so in a way it made up for the costly hotel fee. But my wife and I felt t...
This is hotel has aged gracefully, We love the view over the Kurobe Gorge, whilst the one of the dinning rooms oversee one of the hydroelectric power station and signature railway bridge. The in-house dinner was delicious, but the highlight is the onsen, comprising indoor and outdoor pools. It was huge, has fantastic resting areas, and opens 24-hour. Highly recommen...
A bit far from the train station. But it makes you enjoy the quiet and relaxing location. Hot spring is not bad, but be careful not to be bitten by insects especially at the spa outside.
A decent and clean place to spend the night right beside the train station. There are restaurant and a small local mall nearby. However do take note that this part of Japan most shops close at 7pm. There are few restaurants nearby if you missed the others but very limted choice.

The hotel provides grand feeling to accommodate customers. The location is near the train station. The staffs are friendly and very offer very good hospitality when we stay. The open air onsen rooms have an amazing view and nice design. The dinner is luxurious. The hotel also offers shuttle bus to shinkansen station.
