The hotel is located at the beautiful Laguna Bacalar and has a lovely restaurant/terrace. The food is ok but not great. If you stay more than one night you cn do a tour across the laguna, standup paddling or just relax in one of the hammocks at the jetty.

The location is divine -- footsteps from the clear clean Cenote-like azul Lake Bacalar. The building is new, elegant, handsome, functional, efficient. The staff has all those qualities. I've never felt so blissed -- by health, beauty, peace, intelligence, charm, fun.

Great little hotel away from the noise and craziness. The rooms are spacious and clean. The showers have hot water with good pressure. The beds have a memory foam top and quality pillows which make for a comfortable nights sleep. The owner speak English and Spanish and is very knowledgeable of the area.

The lady owner is so unpleasant, everyday asking for money, if you sleep she knocks on the door and wake you up for this, The first day I met her lovely son who told me it’s not a problem to pay everything at the end with a credit card, when time arrives the lady said that the Internet is poor and that’s why I can’t ...
